We do seem to have a large seller(s) in our midst. Disgruntled shareholder or short selling?
mental: Which Friday is that then????
you'll be able to top-up at 0.4p then!
1p by Friday Rx, you heard it here first!
mental: I suggest you wait a day or two - you'll be able to top-up at 0.4p then! It's true there is an element of gamble in any investment - but on a scale of 1 to 10, Shell and BP are 1, whereas ECR is 11.
Let's not forget, if they fail, Snip or Mel (can't remember which) said they'll be back to rub the salt in, there's always that to look forward to.
You never know rx, we may have a big gold system at Creswick, or a 50km base of lithium at Lolworth, or some dirt to sell at Bailliestone, or a near commercial discovery at Hurricane, or an interesting new patch of land at Blue Mountain, a milli or so from Dangley, or any other surprises.
That's enough to top up at 0.05p in my book.
And every investment is a gamble rx lol, I see what you're doing though. Clever girl.
Well - got it out of you eventually - ECR isn't an investment, it's a gamble. Problem is - in this Casino you've got croupiers like Mr. Consultancy-Fees rolling the dice - so, do you feel lucky punk!?
'and the prospect of achievement based on demonstrable testing and historical evidence' - ??????
Don't quote out of context Rx, I specifically said that they have not found the mother load, they haven't.. but the TESTING (rock chips, soil sampling, sediments, prelim drills at Hurricane etc) are all positive and indicative of a future find AND the historical evidence is in the alluvial workings (in some not all) and close proximity commercial mines.
End of the day RX, if ECR fail on every one of their projects, I'm down some $ but I'll be fine. However if they hit it big on just one, I'll make a killing. Is it a safe investment? hell no! Could it make me a millionaire? hell yes! Is it more exciting than holding RR or BP. for 15% over a few years and a few % divi... Absolutely.
Grumble till the cows come home guys, but you all bought into a Jr explorer. That's on YOU. The hope of success keeps us going and there's plenty of fuel in the tank, rolls of the dice, or whatever other analogy floats your boat..
GLA
mental: I didn't say I'd be buying at 0.4p - I said that's where it looks to be heading.
'and the prospect of achievement based on demonstrable testing and historical evidence' - ?????? Have you been drinking? What achievement? It's the fact they have achieved fu*k-all to date that's put the SP is where it is!!!
0.4p looks the next port of call
Got it out of you eventually ;)
BTW explorer stocks in any sector are underpinned by licenses, cash, personnel (AH's track record) and the prospect of achievement based on demonstrable testing and historical evidence. While ECR have not yet hit the mother load, the above list is still very much alive and kicking, and should, with any luck, underpin the sp. Any sniff of a hit and we'll be flying, seen it all before, and missed out several times!
Joking apart mental, problem here is I really can't see anything underpinning ECR's SP - it's just one long slide - but to where? I thought 0.6p was it - but still it goes down - 0.4p looks the next port of call. Furthermore, somebody has been persistently dumping shares over a number of weeks now - is it a big hitter throwing in the towel? Because if it is, there just isn't the liquidity to absorb any more, we simply don't have the buyers - so down it will continue to go (and it can go lower than you can dream of even in your wildest dreams/nightmares) - the market is utterly brutal.
Or anybody even!!
mental: Are you missing my ramping skills!? You've always got Yapper (for all the use he is to aynbody)!! LoL
Rx when you buy again (as you are clearly angling for else why bother), will you flip on a dime again?!
RX, I like "When opportunity knocks all some people do is complain about the noise"
Current SP to sell is 0.5299p - minus 3.65%. That is reality TS - the rest is hype and hope.
TS: How's it go 'There's none so blind as those that will not see'.
Where some see weakness , others see opportunity.
I'm not going to wait until the SP is high until I invest...I've been investing heavily over the last few months and am very comfortable in my investment.
One positive drilling results can easily shift the SP 30%+ in a day from these low levels that have no potential value factored in
TS: You miss the point - it's not just my opinion - it's the opinion of the market - and has been for a long time now! I know you're heavily invested and like the rest of us (everybody that is) you're under water. If you can't see the bear case here and at least acknowledge the failing and weaknesses of ECR you're asking for trouble. Mr. Market can be wrong - but not very often - you need to think about that.
Well , that's your opinion.
We will see after the next two month's of results
TS: I'm not the only one coming to negative conclusions here - Mr. Market is too - in fact you seem to be in a distinct minority (I don't count Yapper - he's just a joke figure). It's as I keep saying - ECR have 'talked the talk' for years now - until they 'walk the walk' (I.e. actually achieve something) I don't see any reason for the SP to do anything other than it is at present. Any credibility ECR had went out of the window a long time ago - AH can smile at the camera as much as he likes - but until he holds up the gold and says 'here it is' - it's just more hype and hope - the ECR speciality.
rx....Not saying it should be flying....that's your interpretation
Simply pointing out the excellent recent sampling results at Creswick (that need backing up with drilling results).
Also the progress made over the last year over the new CEO.
Also the many projects that ECR have with great potential...obviously that potential needs to be proven.
And the many results that are due soon.
I've invested, so have confidence that the potential will come to fruition.
You can draw your own always negative conclusions. that's your prerogative
TS: That's another long, long looooooong post tabulating all the (alleged) reasons why ECR should be flying - but the fact is that the SP is in the gutter and has been for ages. If everything is so amazingly positive at ECR why has the SP continued to fall to new lows? It seems the market does not agree with you at all - can you think why that is (I can)?
Hi Snip,
Does not take long to put the posts together if you are well researched on the company.
We've had a lot of unfounded comments like 'There is no gold at Creswick' when the evidence recently shows that the sampling results have been very good.
Obviously the ultimate proof is in the drilling and that's where the SP will be impacted in the near term....and those results will start coming in the near future.
just a bit sus Snip, making out to be a LTH with extravagant claims of family in the trade rubbishing data etc, yet joined a few months ago and posted 3 times. Lots of Walter Mitty types on these boards as you know.
