Enjoying the o/t discussion! I completely missed that discover but look at DWHA today :)
every penny worth £120 ..happy days
derrida liked to argue that it is copying that originates, but then again, he was pretty continental. & there's value in repetition, pattern and ritual, sometimes.
over-rated .. bach, beethoven v reich, glass ..not much point to originality for the sake of it..showing off..meme exhibitionism..self indulgence ..v little of value is ever created/originated..and folk don't treasure what is: wasting their time with pap pop/rock; sofa evenings in front of reality nonsense/soaps or reading daft stream of consciousness-lite posts on lse ..
(i appreciate, not an original plot line.)
we should probably worry if BAE or similar weapons company generously offers to fund voyage to jupiter to collect alien life forms for entirely peaceful & of course scientific purposes.
don't wipe us out..our germs managed to kill plenty in the Americas...
we live in. i never thought i'd see a week in which scientists find water volcanoes on europa and the saudis introduce osbornite austerity. so which will come first, fall of the house of saud, or discovery of jovial lifeforms on a jupiter moon? (both now seem pretty probably, but timing unclear) let's hope the saudi's royal plan for post-millenial diversification wasn't simply to help fund deutsche.
here... if u reckon 500 too much of a stretch .zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
is quite intriguing...either we cruise to 500ish or don't ..if not, likely it stays here around 400 or unlikely given metrics 300 (the sp doesn't like hanging around the mid regions lol)
perhaps the overhang from strange iis is cleared
recommended
maybe just bored mid-level folks? -- who felt the urge to buy or sell something in order to demonstrate their purpose, or fill the yawning existential void? (futile) problem with larger trades, we can be tempted to believe that larger trades have rationales which are underpinned by better financial understandings, but that's often not true. follow the money, only sometimes works. too many people incentivised to be active. dunno what's happening with recent trades, but the overall corporate picture appears ok enough, and that differential seems huge. the catch might be that word "yet" in last RNS. wish it was easier/cheaper for me just to sell the dhwt/dhwa spread, instead i'm just a holder of dwha.
500?????
before the great news, failed breakout, enormous sales (@370 and @365) ..maybe they weren't sales after all? ..if they were, the ii(s) who exited/ derisked may feel like muppets in 1-2 years time with sp double their panic-y exit? Then again £200k and £400k is a drop in the ocean for these titans..underperformaing titans lol
may be behind us for all we know
Haha glad to hear you still hold, the JMB will come. We've been around long enough. The question is how safe do we feel going in heavy at 365?
gift gets gift-ier? ..AIM throws up absurd pricing..guessing JMB is fun..but less so when u hold 12k shares lol
Are your dividend figures up to date and do they take into account the last trading update? Sounds like you're a little more negative on this following the spate of selling. Personally I see this as yet another AIM gift providing DWHT hold around current levels we look super cheap. This company have beaten profit expectations set during the interims and yet DWHA are trading lower since then!. "The combined effects of these factors mean that the Board now anticipate full year profits will be significantly higher than current market expectations."
so c45% discount to ords ....div yield is not really enough on its own (c3%) to support this in the face of disillusioned stale holders understandably bailing ...300 in nice round number so perhaps there (over 50% discount and with slightly more interesting yield??)
sell? ..50% discount to ords wd be 340 atm ..but it is difficult to justify 50% as widest since no precedent..perhaps 55-60%+ ...really need the dewhurst family or company to buy/show confidence in A shares..and that just may not happen..at least anytime soon ..sigh
now there's a vote of confidence..profits better than expected, so sell at sizeable discount/probably loss..makes perfect sense
bought..where are those chunky 10-15k buys??
famine..1100 bought so far today ....no rush lol
will have a look , seen you post here before and interested. thks J
