Deepverge and Microsaic had a lot invested in China before the lockdowns. It was one of their main customers. There must be a backlog of business news coming from there - surely.
Well, maybe this is not significant but if you look at MW's LinkedIN page, there are a couple of vacancies for the Chinese operations.
Hi LTB,
Is one of the vacancies in China for an ex CEO of an AIM company with experience in plumbing too?
China contracts, join ventures, China resources anything that GB previously said is to be considered, at best a total fabrication of his imagination, at worse total lies. Draw a line! What’s the new BoD got to say and more importantly deliver!?
NU,
it asks for experience in crooked plumbing...hard to fill this vacancy, only one guy exists with such credentials :)
A Q&A with the new BOD would be welcome. A clear the table (and air) of the old and hear what's to come.
Clarification on all the GB pumping is needed. As people say, CR etc. If they are dead in the water it would at least be nice to get confirmation.
8 months ago we were on the cusp of making serious strides forward. Finance (and the leak of the raise) hit the SP, but what happened to all the business? STC, the various mictrotox devices, china resources, labskin et al.
The company has gone from being an open book (potential-wise) to being a complete closed book with shareholders in the dark.
DVRG had a £30-£50m mcap a few years back with like £2m turnover. It now has £10m turnover and a large pipeline (all that deferred revenue which prevented £18m being hit...) yet the mcap is £4m!
if a lot of their business was in china then it would explain the collapse or pull back. then there was the expectation of giant strides which made gerrard take out the **** loan - which the board were wise enough to pay off because they saw the coming rise in interest rates. covid wasn't kind to deepverge or its shareholders but now hat china has reopened maybe things will begin to look up.
Looks like it's MSYS turn to have a run up today after yesterday's falls fwiw.

Would be helpful if they'd post a copy of their presentation even in Chinese... (Image used for article a reused image?).

Money may be tight, but isn't it time somebody took a flight to China?
