Hutchy1, good interview no doubt. And yet even it didn't capture the full potential of DVRG.
Just as Microtox PD isn't about Covid, Microtox BT isn't about Covid. Focus on BT vs LFT missing the bigger picture:
"The joint development program of work on the PBM-HALE™ breath condensate device from PulmoBioMed is ongoing using multiplex bio-marker binding agents to analyse breath for 40 other diseases which include cancer, neurodegenerative, respiratory and metabolic conditions."
BT has potential to change healthcare globally. DVRG established in over 60 countries and soon to have JV with state company in China... DVRG have the credentials to make it happen.
Those invested here just need to be patient. Share price is disconnected from company worth. Market cap crazy low.
Cosmetics Business Live coming up. Wednesday, May 12 12PM for Labskin:
"Head of Sales, Eric Clarke, will be taking to the virtual stage in the entry stream to give a presentation titled ‘Introducing Skin Trust Club: personalised skin care based on science’."
Hopefully some press begins to land at same time...
So looking at the acknowledgements on the PulmoBiomed document ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/e6160t7o5gzjuhw/PulmoBioMed%20Coronavirus%20-%20Public.pdf?dl=0# ) and Dr Gkikas Magiorkinis of University of Athens doesn't look a bad ally to have.
In the press as recently as today:
"Infectious diseases professor Gkikas Magiorkinis, who like Papaevangelou is a member of the Health Ministry’s experts committee on Covid-19, said at the briefing that ICU admissions dropped by 6 pct this past week."
In case anybody thinks I've the wrong fella (a name after all isn't a unique identifier...):
Under 10 August heading
"“Greece has formally entered a second wave of the epidemic,” Gkikas Magiorkinis, an epidemiologist at Athens University and one of the scientists advising the Greek government, told journalists today. This comes after Greece recorded its highest number of daily new coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, with 203 confirmed on Sunday."
Some presentation on Government website Dec 2020:
I'm sure it was a good read:
And evidence of involvement with cruise ships:
"Gkikas Magiorkinis, a member of the government’s pandemic expert committee, said that all 12 crew members tested negative Tuesday, using rapid and confirmatory tests, along with 24 other people they had come into contact with."
AP story reproduced by various news outlets.... so global coverage.

• Clinical trials ongoing in three Greek hospitals (active)
All about the credibility...
I've noticed @unicornpicker has picked up on Sensyne. So this seems suitable place to drop this as they have RNS out this morning:
MagnifEye Gains MHRA Approval
Lord (Paul) Drayson PhD FREng, CEO, said: "MagnifEye has demonstrated that it has the potential to play an important role in COVID-19 disease surveillance with increased lateral flow test reading accuracy and greater certainty over correct test interpretation. We believe our technology also demonstrates the value of AI in the analysis of medical images, a field that Sensyne has deep expertise in."
If we have an acceptance LFTs read by eye are not good enough due to limitations of human sight and possibilities for reading errors then that has to be a positive for Microtox BT.
Newuncle, don't know where you've got to with this (isn't the basic summary it is all good? Or better than that...) but I did find below Tweet from the good Doc interesting:
It is now down to the sensing / measuring platform companies to take our sample collector out there and start surveying people en masse for emission of the virus in their breath. We have @innovateuk #icure @Northern_Acc support to complete a small study on this. 4/n
1:06 pm · 6 May 2021·Twitter Web App"
Not least because https://www.ukri.org/councils/innovate-uk/ have been mentioned a few times on here.
Just further indication of government interest...
"Launched in April 2018, UKRI is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)."
Do we read anything into site choice given:
"Teagasc – the Agriculture and Food Development Authority – is the national body providing integrated research, advisory and training services to the agriculture and food industry and rural communities."
Look at the size of the opportunity! Hopefully PD can be a gateway into military for BT...
"The Microtox© PD platform, using AI and data analytics, is relevant for governments, cities, local authorities, industries, military, corporates, transport companies, etc. urgently seeking real-time identification of local COVID-19 hotspots with the potential to predict contagion spread and the risk of fresh outbreaks"
Fantastic to get a bit of detail.
Not getting over excited at role DVRG with PD are going to play in Europe as we've been told they will play a key role over and over... Just need to be patient.
Some press today for Gerry or more news first?
Dingodog1, the test events are not determining which tests are to be approved to enable such events but rather that negative covid tests can enable mass events to take place safely at all. Once the concept is accepted then it will be a market that is available to Microtox BT once Target Product Profile achieved and CE mark obtained.
Dingodog1, does it matter if DVRG are directly involved or not? Would be only an issue if not involved and test events are a failure due to poor performance of tests used. As long as concept accepted that is all good for DVRG.
Bronxville, even Gerry's Twitter account isn't exempt from NDAs....
Credible people offering a view of business in China...
CHARLIE MUNGER: "Well, I think that-- that the Chinese government will allow businesses to flourish. It was one of the most remarkable things that ever happened in the history of the world when a bunch of committed communists just looked at the prosperity of places like Singapore and said, the hell with this, we're not going to stay here in poverty. We're going to copy what works.
And they changed communism, they just accepted Adam Smith and added it to their communism. And then now, we have communism with Chinese characteristics, which is China with a free market, with a bunch of billionaires and so forth. And they made that shift.
They deserve a lot of credit."
Reality doesn't fit the scare stories...
More dot to dot (or grasping at straws). DVRG after all working under NDAs...
PhD Studentship in Water Infrastructure & Resilience (WIRe) CDT PhD Studentship: The future of wastewater-based epidemiology

Dr David Graham:
"Without improving waste management, sanitation, and water quality on a global scale, antibiotic resistance will continue to increase, potentially creating the next pandemic"
DVRG opportunity not just about Covid...

Modern Water and Northumbrian Water Group have history:
Dashboard for Covid water monitoring in Scotland:
No harm resurfacing document dating to 19/11/20:
5.2 Technology development
"The development of an automated and on-site technology for sampling, processing and analysis of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater is underway. A workshop with key academic and industry partners led to the identification of three key areas for development focused on (i) the automation of analysis in the field to enable detection and/or quantification of SARS-CoV-2 RNA near to the point of sampling, (ii) the development of ‘real time’ automated detection and/or quantification of SARS-CoV-2 RNA at the point of sampling, (iii) the development of technology that could be integrated into the network for wider health monitoring, for example at pumping stations."
Given relationships no reason to doubt DVRG seat at the table and role in making iii above reality. Link up with MSYS then also making at or near point of sampling possible...
So reading this:
Analysis: Europe's Green Revolution? Italy's spending plans raise doubts
"Cingolani's illustrious scientific career has focused on areas such as robotics and nanotechnologies rather than climate change. Some observers suggested he may have been a better fit at the infrastructure ministry which went to Enrico Giovannini, who is instead a prominent expert in sustainable development."
What’s Italy’s New Ministry For Ecological Transition
"In Italy, the newly founded Ministry is going to gather some of the key responsibilities that normally pertain to the Ministry of Economic Development; specifically, it is going to accrue all activities revolving around energy policies, transport emissions, alternative energy resources, sustainable development policies, circular economy and related policies. On top of these, the Ministry is going to deal with more classic environmental responsibilities such as waste management, water resources management and environment defense. "
"Roberto Cingolani (born 23 December 1961) is an Italian physicist and academic who has been serving as Minister for Ecological Transition in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mario Draghi since 13 February 2021.
From 2019 until 2021, Cingolani was the technology and innovation officer at Leonardo S.p.A.; before this, he was scientific director at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genoa from 2005 to 2019."
Page 11, Genoa, Italy
Clutching at straws (or strings...)... But we now have somebody scientifically literate in a postion of power and a link to Genoa. Who knows who...
Granted Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia don't seem to be involved with testing water for Covid:
But our friend Dr. Alessandro Bratti Director Of Ispra (Superior Institute Of Research And Environment Protection), https://www.deepverge.com/conference-ecotoxicology-in-covid-19-times/ , proves to be a link:
"ISPRA, together with the National System for the Environmental Protection, in congratulating the new Minister of Ecological Transition prof. Roberto Cingolani, is available for an active and effective cooperation on the issues of the environment and the ecological transition that this new government aims to strengthen with its own institutional action."
And a meeting (Feb 17, 2021) :
And returning to the "antivirus" for the real world theme we can now add Darktrace.
Darktrace "Delivers autonomous and adaptive protection across diverse systems and distributed users. Explore an intelligent approach to security - an immune system for the digital enterprises."
"Elsewhere in London, Darktrace closed at 330 pence, up 32% from its initial public offering price of 250p, on its first day of conditional trading in London on Friday."
Seems a decent appetite from investors after all....
"Darktrace has experienced massive growth in recent years, with sales jumping to $199.1 million in the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020, up 45.3 percent from $137 million in fiscal 2019 and 150.7 percent from $79.4 million in fiscal 2018"
From Google Number of employees: 1,216 .
Massive growth. The journey DVRG are on... Be noticed soon enough (unless you are playing with your rent money... in which case anything is possible). DVRG providing an AI powered immune systems for nation states...
Was taking a look at below earlier to refresh my memory to timetable.
“First US Integumen COVID19 detection agreement”
RNS Number : 5053A Integumen PLC 30 September 2020
"a legally binding three year Framework Agreement ("Agreement") to be executed on or before the 18 November 2020"
" The appointment to manage the water systems will continue for three years, with an initial trial period of six months, and an annual renewal thereafter."
So not long left for initial six month period. Any prospect of an update? Or just business as usual.
Would seem timely if things are ready for expansion:
https://twitter.com/WaterRInstitute retweeting Gerry on 27 April .
https://twitter.com/aliciadoug a short video on 22 April "focusing on advancing real time information to know what our water quality is and to be able to create an alert".
Not a great deal of information online for WaterRising Institute to be found...(such excitment as being a new member https://www.detroitchamber.com/membership/new-members/ as listed on page updated March 23, 2021).
The Chair of the Board of Directors for the WaterRising Institute certainly looks plenty credible... worth a quick scan of his profile:
Are IBM the source for real time weather and pollution data for Skin Trust Club?
2021 and DVRG group market cap currently under 60 million...
"University of Surrey has a strong legacy of research into membrane separation and osmosis, culminating the commercialisation of Surrey's spin-out company Modern Water plc. Modern Water plc. was floated on AIM (London Stock Exchange) in June 2007 raising £30m cash with a market value of £70m."
That link should both serve as context to the sky are falling (but will not sell) brigade that like to turn up here from time to time, and also an indication of the incredible bargain basement prices still on offer here. DVRG is not only Modern Water but so much more (indeed equally true that later Modern Water much more than ipo Modern Water). 2021 is not 2007. The world, and opportunities have changed. The best tech in the world has limited value without demand. Now no lack of demand for what DVRG can offer.
What is going on in France that Google is so keen to serve me Modern Water adverts. Not like Google thinks I'm there...
Modern Water - Water Quality Testing
"Covid 19 has focussed water authorities all over the world on the vulnerability of water ways to contamination and led to a surge of increased surveillance and monitoring.
We are experiencing unprecedented demand for our products as a result especially from customers on the frontline in China, Italy, Spain and France."
Performance analysis of SARS-CoV-2 selective Optimer reagents to evolving viral variants
So that is all good then.
And a reminder that they are really pleased to be working with DVRG:
Really pleased to be partnered with @DeepVerge for the development of #COVID19 Breath and Wastewater tests recognized last night in the @Bionow awards.

Quality partner. Credible...
"Further development alongside partners, such as the Aptamer Group, Tyndall Foundries and a number of undisclosed partners to investigate new variants of SARS-CoV-2 by adding a multiplex nano-chip to test for a range of infectious viruses and bacteria on a single chip for the MicrotoxPD range of equipment for detection and identification of SARS-CoV-2, E.coli, Legionella and Cryptosporidium."
Gwoods , I've no interest in telling you anything. Your attack on the DVRG MOU in China is pathetic. So much so it suggests you really aren't the brightest. Perhaps if you have a think about it you'll come up with a better angle. Although to be honest I've equally no interest in hearing from you, so maybe don't bother...
Ooh look Bosch giving away their Tech to the scary Chinese:
Or maybe not.
Gwoods, I would say keep it up as I'd like to add some cheap shares, but that post is pathetic.
So is Ireland (North and South) an area DVRG are operating under NDA? First link from 1 March, second from 2 March:
"Creating a long-term tracking system for coronavirus levels in the community through wastewater surveillance is now possible as a result of DAERA research funding.
The work underway at Queens University Belfast, the Regional Virology Laboratory and the Public Health Agency, funded by DAERA as part of a Science Foundation Ireland Covid-19 research programme, has already successfully developed local expertise in new analytical techniques with two sites in Northern Ireland currently undergoing sampling and testing and plans being developed for further sites to be monitored in the coming months."
Quoting Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, Gordon Lyons, MLA:
"My officials have been working with DEFRA, other devolved Administrations and the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) to inform the development of a Northern Ireland programme for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus surveillance in waste water. In November 2020, DAERA agreed to co-fund a research project with SFI to establish that waste water surveillance and reporting. In Northern Ireland, a team at Queen's University Belfast is leading that work, with collaborative partners in University College Dublin. They commenced their research in December 2020, with an initial scope of work that included sampling two waste water treatment sites in Northern Ireland, with plans to extend to a further six sites: eight sites in total. DAERA agreed a funding extension of the initial research grant award in January, which will enable the capability being established through the programme to process a greater number of samples in the coming months.
DAERA officials are engaging with their counterparts in the Department of Health, the Public Health Agency and the Department for Infrastructure to develop an effective cross-departmental approach to long-term waste water surveillance."
