Drifting south again. Losing patience here . Will hold till the 8th, if no significant breakthrough then I`m out.
Since Samsung is DDD's largest customer, it is a good idea to keep up with Samsungs' doings. Interesting article. "It's one thing to make 60% gross margin on $100 ASP chips, but you're in a totally different league when you're pulling 50% gross margins on $500+ smartphones." Samsung is the world leader in smartphones TVs. http://seekingalpha.com/article/1242541-intel-can-t-let-samsung-win?source=yahoo

In the 27_29 bracket maybe until the 8th.
Confirmed 8 April 2013
I may revisit CEY too, tho dont think theres much sp action before court ruling. QPP is a good bet. Currently waiting for next update but fundamentals are excellent. You`ll double up from current sp by year end IMO. As to DDD, well at least its now higher than my buy in which is a+. Was hoping to break 30 before update, but we`re on the right track. GL
Yes i did , no thanks needed , afterall it was you who decided to invest there i just gave you a gentle shove in the right direction lol ,as it was a no brainer to me. May still go back into CEY keeping an eye on it. Also looking at your QPP seems they having the same probs as my other share RRL where the directors are shouting their mouths of well before anything happens which is never good for a companys SP . Looking good here at last :) but still not made anything here tho
Hope you got my earlier post re CEY etc thanks again.
If this can hold on to the weeks gains tomorrow. I except it to go through the 30p door next week
I`ve visited a few boards today, lots of negativity. Nobody likes losing money. This is one of a few bright spots so still hoping to crack 30. Do`nt expect it this week but a steady rise before next news would be good.
Positive article. Looking good.
Buy: Three-dimensional (3D technology specialist DDD Group (DDD:AIM) looks set to post bigger-than-expected 2012 pro ts when it reports full-year results in April. Demand for state-of-the-art 3D TVs, computers and smart phones is rising fast. The £34 million cap’s clever TriDef technology converts standard 2D content for 3D displays. Unit volumes to TV manufacturers rose 67% last year, while PC software shipments jumped 172%, more than o -setting a 58% decline on mobile handsets, where business levels were impacted by new product delays. Overall unit volumes surged by 65%.The installed base of 3D TVs is expected to grow from 50 million sets sold in 2012 to 125 million this year. Forecasters predict 3D TV sales will double again in 2014 to 250 million. This ballooning installed base o ers a separate growth opportunity through DDD’s 3D content channel, Yabazam!, a smart TV application that can already point to nearly 250,000 user downloads. Analysts anticipate 2012 pre-tax pro ts of $1.9 million (£1.2 million) on sales of $8.6 million (£5.4 million). Taxable income is expected to more than double again this year to $4.1 million, yet the consensus estimate could rise once full details of DDD’s 2012 results are unveiled on 8 April. Using broker Canaccord’s earnings per share (EPS) 2013estimates of $0.03 (1.9p) the £34 million cap’s shares trade on a current year price/ earnings (PE) multiple of just 13.6, more than 15% below the software sector average. Shares says: Great technology should help DDD fully capitalise on the exciting 3D boom.
My motto - buy high sell low go bankrupt! lol. What the helll... Yeah 50ks were mostly cancelled - one wasnt. 2 x more buys than sells still though...
sp has moved more in last 6 days than last 6mths so pull back inevitable. Would like to see it push through 30 before results tho.
