Thu 15:47---(Name of Poster)---(Title)---PRICE 4.13///////Thu 16:37---(Name of Poster)---(Title)---PRICE 3.88. Between those times, if I have calculated correctly 114,400 were bought and only 18,000 sold (Possibly by someone who needed a sale to force the price back down), 78,000 were bought AFTER the 18,000 sale. IMO The House of Commons is not the only place where indecency is rife. Buy in early with this as there are people who know the value of what they are holding, IMO DYOR.
someone please explain, how we have the following (see below) and SP closes flat..? Proportion of DDD Group plc shares bought/sold on the most recent trading day: Shares sold: 4.31% Shares bought: 95.69%
DDD SP cannot go much lower!! every worse case scenario is priced in, and some....DDD has turned itself around and this will be reflected very shortly in coming RNS....
To say the least... 95% + of today's volume was buys... MM' s have to explain themselves.... To show flat on the day is an utter misrepresentation...
Yep, and a big rat at that. Yesterday the only transaction was a buy and they still pushed the price down. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who notice.
and large holdings, Bob Morton, is he the UK version of Warren Buffet..? se below: Arisawa Manufacturing 29,856,123 shares: £1,231,565 Wistron Corporation 14,429,831 shares: £595,230 Nigel Wray 9,820,648 share: £405,102 Pershing Nominees Limited 8,149,286 shares: £336,158 Newton UK Small Companies Fund 6,611,518 shares: £272,725 Bob Morton 6,250,000 shares: £257,812 Octopus Investments Nominees Limited 4,315,960 shares: £178,033
West11, take heart. Going through my (very) old records. In Oct 2003 I bought very many fewer DDD than I own now and paid 35.5p, they had signed an important contract with Sharp I sold them 7days later for 45p. OK, that was then, this is now and past performance is not an indicator of future etc, etc. But the potential is so good here, who knows?
A_E this is a smart move on DDD's part, with the services of IPNav, DDD can protect is current loyalty streams and it will enhance future loyalties.....makes you wonder why DDD did not do this earlier.....maybe Management believes that they are on to a good thing with 3DTablet and Smartphone TriDef.....
This seems to be a great product. If IP Navigation Group, the newly appointed agent can get the licence agreed with the major manufacturers DDD could have an indusry standard. From the RNS: Chris Yewdall, CEO of DDD, said: "DDD has invested heavily over the past twenty years to invent innovative 3D products and solutions that have been used by leading brand name licensees in tens of millions of 3D products, confirming the relevance of these inventions. We believe that IPNav brings a depth of experience, worldwide coverage and flexible approach that we did not see with other intellectual property advisors." Erich Spangenberg, CEO of IPNav said: "DDD's 3D conversion and rendering technology patents and related intellectual property are well established in the 3D market globally. This appointment will allow IPNav to assist DDD in its ongoing efforts to achieve fair value for its significant investments in research and development." So there are some really promising times ahead. As ever, DYOR. GLA
agreed, in my case, with hindsight, maybe foolish at 24p, but for sure, not foolish at 4p
really think DDD has the right product with TriDef: TriDef has the ability to convert 2D to 3D TriDef 3D is Glasses free TriDef is now available for Glasses free 3D Tablets and Smartphones, see below: http://www.ddd.com/tridef-products/tridef-mobile/
ExFactor, I understand. Certainly not a foolish buy at these prices.
Hi AEM, by which I meant I thought I had spotted the bottom ( Hind sight in both senses), not that it was foolish to buy more. Onwards and upwards !
Top Risers...that should put us back on radar!!
BID moved up to 4p......clearly some interest!!
high of April...very encouraging...even SP of 6p+ seems bargain basement DDD when I first bought at 24p....
All BUYS today....guess folks have seen value..
High of April! Chris Yewdall does seem very competent indeed. Fingers crossed for more progress.
4.20p high of day...
have to say, that Chris Yewdall comes across very well at trade shows and interviews....another reason why I have not given up hope, very very well seasoned Management....
"we may see that as a foot note to earnings next week..." Yes, that would be positive and help change recent sentiment. Who knows, perhaps Chris Yewdall is labouring away in a small dark room at DDD HQ with his Brother portable typewriter even now. Well, I think us loyal long-termers deserve a bit of a break too. DYOR
thanks A_E, yes, see that Feb RNS.....so an RNS soon indicating the shift to 3D tablet and smartphone is starting to pay......we may see that as a foot note to earnings next week...
I expect you have seen the February RNS but it only says this, "DDD expects to publish its full year results for 2013 during the week of 14 April 2014." The cheeky little tinkers stuck it below another, more positive RNS so goodness knows what they will do next time! I am hoping for a Projected Earnings RNS sometime though. Having said that, I am talking anything up to about 3 months, but with luck, could be quicker. GLA DYOR
Do we know what day next week the earnings are announced..?
to BUY...another top up I think...
