This is why Darktrace is required, more than just perimeter security!
US Oil Pipeline shut due to ransomware attack - Colonial Pipeline said it transports more than 100 million gallons of fuel daily, through a pipeline system spanning more than 5,500 miles.
The operator of a major pipeline system that transports fuel across the East Coast said Saturday that it had been victimized by a ransomware attack and that it had halted all pipeline operations to deal with the threat.
Colonial Pipeline did not say what was demanded or by whom, but ransomware attacks are typically carried out by criminal hackers who seize data and demand a large payment in order to release it.
The attack on a pipeline operator, which says it delivers roughly 45% of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, underscored again the vulnerabilities of critical infrastructure to cyberattacks both by criminal hackers and U.S. adversaries.

added more at 344 this morning, went for a haircut and nice to see it popping up already!
Up 5% this morning to 374p buy now in a falling market with poor sentiment FTSE100 down 2.2%
Buy Long Stay Happy
hello £4.05 another 5% this morning, reminds me of Autonomy in 1999 LOL
Correction make that 423 up 9% and its not 9am yet
This goes straight into FTSE250 in June
..and indeed both DS and Autonomy have a common denominator - Mike Lynch. Of course he's in a bit of bother re the sale of Autonomy to HP where the US is attempting to have him extradited to face charges of fraud!
And what Mike Lynch did with Autonomy was pretty good, from nothing got it into the FTSE100.
I lost £10K or more can't actually remember Mrs Pedro will often remind me though as was investemnts to pay off interest only mortgage!
Anyway he has been involved at that is why I'm in again, the best business leaders have to fail to learn!
Well done all those who got in at the listing. I’d been waiting for years for it and missed it by a day due to an article I read saying it was scheduled for the day after!!! Watching the initial big jump from 250-350 immediately, I sat on the sidelines - much to my dismay now!!! I think Darktrace has a very good future but now Mcap is at $3 billion (the amount the original float was proposed to be), it will be interesting to see what happens. It sticks a bit IMO and am watching closely to see if profit will now be taken or whether it will just continue to climb. Any good pullback and I’ll be in. GLA
Stinks not sticks!!!!
Doye - The MS deal is new news since the listing and should significantly increase everyone's outlook, so I guess it's just a case of where you started from. In my experience, history is littered with examples of genuinely innovative tech stocks which the markets fails to value correctly for many years due to focus on traditional value metrics where they always look expensive.
I couldn’t watch anymore so bought in at 435!! If it drops, I’ll just add more as I think it has a very bright future. GLA
Novice here, I was going to buy on the day it listed and now kicking myself. Is it still worth a punt at 430?
Doye - Kiss of death...? :-))
Avenir - As I've said before, not sure this stock is a great punt for novices. I love the company, but I readily admit there's plenty of risk here and I have sized my position accordingly.
Every time Matt the Brave lol!!!! I’ve only dipped my toe in to start a position so not unduly concerned if we pull back (which will be no surprise given the quick rise up from listing), will just look to add and build a more sizeable position as I definitely feel very positive about long term prospects of DT. When you look at number of other companies in this space that have 10x the Mcap, LTH is a good one IMO :-)))
Hehe - couldn't resist! I think your strategy is a good one, and indeed is the one I was also following. However, having bought at 320p when it dipped last week the 'fall and I'll buy more bit' has become somewhat redundant!
