Well here we go again Colour.. Are you saying that IPv6 together with its updates are not what has held CC together.
When Cyan went head to head with Reliant in Mumbai IPv6 was probably not an issue but became so soon after for other Utilities. We all know that initially India was going for lowest price, reverse auctions, and as you say Dumb and Cellular but now CC can do these and EESL has included them. Who knows where that will lead but its better than not being involved.
So EESL has included CC in discussions but at present we have not heard further from CC. So concluded that EESL is not buying from CC. So we know that EESL is buying Cellular but also need notspots for buildings etc. and we know that CC can now accommodate Cellular. Nothing conclusive but certainly not a factual 'not buying'.
To me its all down to how quickly (poor word) installing can get back on track.
That may be months.
Better to be at 9p ave than say 50p, wouldn't you agree BST.
DYOR.
This Company could not borrow a penny in the strongest of economies other than from Shareholders who have injected private loans. CC has not got a hope in hell of raising loan finance in what will be the deepest recession in living memory so please get real.
An investment house cut Connode loose as they were undoubtedly dragging the finances through the floor.
JC never knew India wanted IPv6, he'd probably never even heard of it, until they told him this was why they weren't buying.
Cyan bought Connode, for way too much to get IPv6, and then they found that India were not buying.
India wanted more, for less, so CC produce Omnimess and now find that India are not buying.
BTW, what has your 9p average got to do with how far underwater you are?
Why do you think Connode called it a day?
Well Colour, as I see it you are a useless criticiser. JC was saying what was appropriate at the time. In Mumbai Cyan was up against Connode and were working with TATA successfully. They realised they needed IPv6 and to develop would have cost them dearly and timewise, fortuitously Connode called it a day. So paying over the top may have been true but they may have been snapped up by somebody else, keeping us in the running it was probably worth it.
Your famous EESL, you said CC and Omni was not needed. Without being too repetitive, initially you may have been nearly correct with CC relying on private Utilities who saw the long term gains of RF but low and behold EESL have now included CC in their group which you just cannot acknowledge.
Get with it Colour, times are constantly changing in India which you cannot deal with.
My view is CC will survive but may have to go into loans whilst the virus plays out.
DYOR
Clueless madachodes, as some might say. Lovely weekend forecast enjoy it as best you can.
When you talk about Omni, IPv6 and Connode, just remember all the presentations and assurance that India will never need the product stack that everyone else was offering, recall that? JC was blowing the Cyan Trumpet as it was simple, cheap, no kite marks/CE needed basic tech they will buy all day long. He called it so so wrong and, within months, was forced to pay way over the odds for a failing company that should have been left to collapse. He called it wrong then, and has been consistent ever since. They have no idea what they are doing. IMO
Well Colour.. we will have to see if Omni is successful. I think it will be, we got to this stage through having to develop IPv6 onwards after taking it over from Connode, without this Cyan would have folded. Consequently other obstacles arose like EESL, who hopefully we have come to an agreement with, fast forward up to Virus our latest obstacle, if this drags on for more than 6 months then a lot of companies will perish without government's help.
BST, I am averaged, at a cost to 9p but achieved in the main by doing a Greengrass in these later trades.
Hello jake, I see where you are leading but this is AIM and is 90% chance with a little bit of research thrown in. I could not have calculated CC by using graphs and past performance.
When you go gold digging you find it or you don't.
DYOR all, hopefully once this is all over CC will be underway.
Morning Tony.
That is my point ,your support for the current and future state is all based on ifs, buts, maybes and a large slice of hope. Like CC there is little substance or rationale. I agree many CEOs line shareholders make mistakes. The smart ones recognise the mistakes and change tack or have a plan B. I learnt very early on never to fall in love with a share. The danger of hanging on too long in search of the golden ticket has caught out many investors. Just don't let emotion cloud your judgement.AIMO DYOR
What are your losses looking like tony? In £.
Omnimess isn't needed. They couldn't sell it before C-19 and I doubt they will fall over themselves to take it after. India are a classic busted flush, nothing to do with current events.
Well jake, as you are out I understand you are treating this with intrigue as to final position. For starters I feel that CC SP could well drop to 1p. before rising; recent agreements, Indore has progressed on installations, Thailand have progressed on paperwork but as I see it installation is now going to be the problem with lock down and possibly hard up residents at the end of it, even UK installers are at home. I should imagine the challenge is now going to be if CC can break even on the £375k pm costs. In the meantime if Bangladesh starts negotiating contracts (after visiting Indore) and BI appears then we may start towards profit, you notice I have not even mentioned EESL which is still in the wings.
All Salesmen/CEO's make mistakes on taking calculated risks and sometimes big ones.
BST, I averaged but obviously not enough, you did likewise and then panicked but yours was a large loss.
Colour what can I say, you don't listen anyway. When EESL came you said CC RF was doomed, JC wanted to get part of the Indian market, you said Omni was not wanted, CC then incorporated Cellular so could in fact provide the Comms for all occasions but will probably still only get 20% of the market. Good enough.
Everybody this is a discussion of DO's and DONT's so you have to DYOR.
No no. They are not losses because they top up with a placing and it all balances out. And everyone gets paid, and bonuses and everything. They are all working remotely now, exactly what they are doing is anyone's guess but JC loves it !
What are losses looking like Tony?
Tony a serious question, answer if you wish but only with concise and factual reasons. On the basis that CC main market is India, how are things going to recover later in the year or indeed the next 12 months? Can you define recover? Clearly you believe none of the issues are down to mismanagement and bad calls by the company in any way shape or form? I have absolutely no axe to grind as I got out many many months ago. I only post to try and add some balance.
I wetht my cath LOL
Colour/Bst.. Unbelievable, resort to insults if you cannot deal with situation. BST How much money have you actually lost, if I remember rightly you were in it deep years ago, so your not unbiased. Colour I would not be surprised if you had similar losses. You can now get on with dealing with my 12:05.
I would not be surprised if CC SP falls over next few weeks but I am sure it will recover later in the year.
DYOR
There's Thickstoopid and there's tonyj Tedders, a whole new level.
Hi ITT. I guess they will be lucky not to have a loss somewhere after the last few weeks devistation lol. Important thing in times like these is not to panic about the value of your portfolio overall. AIMO.
Stay safe everyone.
B&B FFS
Well ITT, SP held the 2m sell.
DYOR
Hi Jake
Whoever it was might not have been in a loss making position. I don't know.
I'm just saying that's what it looks like to me.
Yes please Colour but only if you truly give reasons for the predictions and the obstacles that then arose, such as follow on to original pipeline where EESL then changed requirement . Also highlight Mysore success followed by update to Omni then its application in Indore but only if it suits you, LOL.
All DYOR.
Would you like me to find a few posts where you predicted good income for H2 2019 tonyj? I can post them up for amusement if you would like, some of them suggest you thought £7m was still viable, and that was long after the £1m H1 figure was released. Let me know? LOL.
Colour, thought you didn't worry.
Seawolf, Yellow Submarine Syndrome.
At the moment SP's of many companies are flying all over the place so CC will probably dip in due course.
It what they can offer when this crisis finishes that counts.
Cannot be bothered to keep looking back and quoting old figures, if you are worried Colour then bye bye not buy buy.
Ignore CC SP if it dips again, its only if it goes insolvent you need to worry and then its too late.
DYOR everybody, Colour will keep you up to date regarding past performances, LOL. But will not give the reasons.
We may some force majeure at present but CC has encountered this in Indian politics over the years.
