NEWS Corporate Action Cronin Group Plc Proposed Change of Name It is proposed that, to better represent the mission and values of the Company, its name be changed to "DeepMatter Group Plc", as set out in resolution 7 of the attached Notice of Annual General Meeting to be held on 16 May 2018. I like it though sounds seriously sci-fi ?! Bit surprised with the little sell off today ., bit of cash needed for the long weekend maybe ? GLA
Blimey , Malachi you've been keeping your head down! Haven't seen you on here for at least 3 company name changes !!! Thought you must be long gone . Glad to see there are some of the very , very long term holders still left . I too initially bought OXA and am a little baffled by the new direction prof Cronin has taken us , but lets hope we all end up happy in the long (long long ) run . Things seem to be warming up nicely at the mo' . GL
It is good to see a rising SP; perhaps someone understands the potential here. I certainly do not. They use long words which were not even in the dictionary when I took chemistry A level ~60 years ago. I am here by accident having originally invested in Oxford Advances Surfaces. Happy to stay put!
RNS OUT Director Dealing Cronin Group Plc, the AIM listed company focusing on digitizing chemistry, announces that it was informed yesterday that on the same day Laurence Ede, Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 357,142 ordinary shares of 0.01 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 2.8 pence per Ordinary Share. More director dealings ?! Maybe top up time ( could do with averaging down\) there are defo' good signs here now . GLA
Does anyone know the time frame of this trial ? "The purpose of the programme is to trial the Company's technology with the full range of target users, allowing the Company to observe its performance in different operating environments and locations worldwide" https://www.investegate.co.uk/cronin-group-plc--cron-/rns/mous-signed-with-pioneers/201802060700029768D/
yea great rise today , get the feeling things may be actually happening here ? Have seen a few false dawns with this one though , lets hope this time it's the real thing .
Seems to have been in demand for most of the day - nicely upticked.
Great RNS again , things are moving in the right direction here now , we might all make some money after all . And ANOTHER name change coming ?! GLA
Thats ok if you have spare cash to buy with , unfortunately iam fully loaded here after averaging down several times over the years and would now just like to see some of my hard earned back ?! GL
Probably better we don't shout about this news so we can keep picking the shares up below fair value.
Two leading international life science reagent and chemicals manufacturers to become the first to agree to join the Company's Pioneer Programme, evaluating the DigitalGlasswareplatform Cronin Group, the AIM listed company focusing on digitizing chemistry, announces that it has entered into Memoranda of Understanding ("MoUs") with two leading international life science reagent and chemicals manufacturers; one, a US headquartered business, with laboratory operations worldwide and the other, a UK based subsidiary of a NASDAQ listed company. The MOUs set out the principal terms for a formal evaluation by the two companies of the Company's DigitalGlassware platform. The DigitalGlassware platform, comprising a powerful and easy-to-use software interface with a unique, low footprint sensor array, collects, stores and processes data generated from chemical experiments and allows access to reproducible chemistry via internet protocols. Data analysis need not just be performed retrospectively, but in real-time and a-priori, delivering back to the users, data which when combined with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, has the potential to dramatically increase reproducibility and provide unique insights. Cronin Group has identified a select number of leading companies and institutions involved in the field of chemistry to participate in its Pioneer Programme. The purpose of the programme is to trial the Company's technology with the full range of target users, allowing the Company to observe its performance in different operating environments and locations worldwide. These observations will contribute towards future technology optimisation, prior to wider dissemination to target users. The Pioneer companies will also assess the performance of the DigitalGlassware platform, specifically to understand how it can help improve the outcomes of chemical processes, including precision and reproducibility, with an eye to how the technology can help in discovering/enabling new synthetic routes and chemical entities. RNS OUT GREAT NEWS Mark Warne, Executive Chairman of Cronin Group, commented: "We are delighted to be entering into beta stage deployment with such knowledgeable industry innovators as the initial pioneers announced today. Their help will be invaluable in supporting us in shaping the DigitalGlassware platform for broader adoption across our target user groups as we seek to build awareness and understanding of the product and our long-term vision for the digitization of chemistry."
Perky day,,,,surely a strong mover here on whatever next solid news.
Well, there's still not really a lot of money involved in the daily churn, and I only had a couple of thousand here (which has gone into MTFB, so I'm not feeling sorry for myself...) and a fair bit is directors buying. Which is good, but it also means that there won't be any substantive news in the very near future. After all the excitement, they were selling at less than 1.5p yesterday pm! Anyway, I'm keeping my eye on this and hoping they don't release good news until after my MTFB have tripled at the very minimum.
Some decent size buys today....50k/100k and 150k various lots. The 150k buys certainly aren't just pocket money.
Lets hope so it has been asleep for years ...........and years . Does finally feel like they are getting something going now though , fingers crossed , again ! Have to feel for you a bit jackdaw
Looks like she's awakening...!
Good luck to you jackdaw99, it's going to be bl00dy quite on here now ?!
but I sold out recently at 2p and, despite all the gyrations, I couldn't have done better in the last few days. At the moment this is a bit too long-tern for me but I'm going to keep my eye on it as there IS huge potential if it all works out, so perhaps buy in again if these directors' purchases are a harbinger of better things to come.
Well, the boss is a clever guy, so the latter is entirely possible. If it all works to plan you could see this tiny outfit being quickly assimilated by one of the big synthesis-houses, Bayer for example?
Just noticed that myself jackdaw . I wonder if it has something to do with the recent directorate changes ? Or maybe the world has decided digital chemistry actually is a genius idea after all ?!
It seems so.
