Surprising the speed one CEO goes and a new CEO comes in - was Walls pushed or did he organise his replacement ?
It certainly sounds like she has the creds. Let's see if she can walk the walk.
New CEO appointed and new NED. RNS live
I think its probably the right move, commercially this has not moved the way it should have and I suspect down to a disengaged CEO
The way I see it the increasing pregnancies are a great positive but there is still a lot that can go wrong with a pregnancy even for a woman who hasn't had trouble conceiving. We have to remember that the kinds of women who are going to be buying and using mylotus are women who have had trouble conceiving in the first place and where the chances of something going wrong with a pregnancy is even greater. So i think that when women who are potential users of mylotus know for sure that it is possible to conceive and actually have a baby using it then it will give them the greatest confidence in the product.
Seems strange that it's taken a birth for people to realise it's a good product. Surely the pregnancies are a better indicator. Not that I'm complaining either way!
The news was the first birth, coupled with people's realisation that this product really does work and I think people are starting to wake up to its potential. Knowing that Clear blue was sold for 116 million and that personally I think mylotus is a much more technically advanced product it is potentially worth a lot more than that in the not too distant future.
Decent rise today/ last few days. No news that I can find to explain it though
I'm but having a stand at a trade show is BAU and is not RNS news.
Last week radio 5 live had daily features about issues conceiving linked with national fertility week. It was all IVF - good and bad stories. CPT could and should have got a mention as MyLotus should be used by ALL couples before contemplating IVF (which is costly and has limited success). That is the CPT story.
Nice to see share price rising but IMHO lack of cash is a massive concern
Yep stand C38 - hopefully Dr Corda endorses us in the panels and discussion groups. While I appreciate the comments about "wow a birth" I do think its a big milestone for us, but its not going to transform us. But I think their is life in this share yet, always believed in the product from day 1! GLA
See the last RNS. The company have a stand at the show in London from 1-3 November.
I think it has been noticed. I think it will gain market. My fear is it will need extra funding though.
Totally agree with the last post. It's national fertility week and not I mention of MyLotus - can't get pregnant - IVF or nothing according to the reports.
What a missed opportunity
given it takes 9 months for confirmation of product success, the time it takes for this to take off through word of mouth is too long, these incompetent marketing guys should be paying to advertise in every fertility magazine, posters in every clinic, sponsoring spots on tv sales channels, facebook everywhere, how many women trying to get pregnant reads an rns, or where they thinking the brokers cant see through that desperate ****? What a bunch of amateurs they basically advertised another placing
Todays announcement is a huge milestone. I think we all knew that the product worked, knowing that 28 women or so have actually got pregnant from using the product so far but i think that an actual birth is the ultimate validation of the product and massively de-risks the company. As more and more births are announced and the word spreads as it will with increasing pace more and more women who are finding it difficult to get pregnant will also know for sure it works and I think this will really start to take off.
this little baby just woke up - would love to see this start ticking up now as the confirm births come in. lets hope we have started to sell more - marketing is still not good enough
Woman becomes pregnant!
If this is what passes for an rns then we are screwed, how are these donkeys running this company screwing up an otherwise outstanding product with this garbage!
Great to see some positive news, time for this to recover now. More publicity will lead to more sales of this highly innovative product. Yes the market is a mature one, but this represents a new wave of innovation in the market...
Guess we know what is coming next with a new CFO in tow. Dilution. Coffers will be running dry soon enough with the lack of any commercial traction so what better time to replenish than with a new broom on board to sweep up.
I sincerely hope that Matthew did not state that the first births will be starting in the next couple of months because he stated specifically that the first births are due in October in the last RNS.
I have spoken with Boots HQ regarding sales of MyLotus, but they were unable to give precise figures. I have also this morning had a 30 minute chat with Matthew Walls, Concepta's chairman, and he has confirmed that a great deal of social media marketing is taking place.....plus Concepta is at the Fertility Show (1st to 3rd November). Additional Clinics are currently being approached following the deal with the Manchester Clinic. As regards the NHS, Matthew indicated that the NHS has moved away from offering fertility services.....these now concentrated in the private clinic sector. The number of pregnancies (using My Lotus ) is increasing, with resulting births starting in the next couple of months........all good PR. So it sounds very favourable imho.....
'kind help and support', anybody else think that is a slightly patronising response? The Company really needs to pull their finger out here, they have a very innovative class leading product in the market, please don't drop this ball Mr Walls...

come on CPT pull your finger out - this is a massive PR opportunity. Featured on radio 5 live this morning
Same here Broon. As I say ive been here 3+ years and stay firm in my belief in the product (despite my occasional moans!) The move to partner with fertility clinics excites me and if it goes well should be a network there we can tap into. Then the NHS to me seems a logical step? A long term game here for sure. GLA
i'm in this for the long term, would love to see this shoot up as the product is fantastic
