Daveboy19 = complete idiot.
Do you really think that i believe what I say has any bearing on the SP. I'm not a 'deramper' as you put it in any way. There's plenty of selling going on without me saying a word.
I'm just warning anyone who might not be as informed not to listen to Spark boy and his rubbish.
Anyone new to the board please don't listen to a word Spark boy says. He's just desperate to ramp this up for his own benefit and just simply can't accept that peeps are selling his beloved YU and has got no idea what the TU will bring. He talks complete nonsense like the previous week when there was a large sell off he came out with some complete garbage about it being 'orchestrated' by the mm's when in actual fact it was simply a large sell off.
Really! Like the share price would be so much higher if it wasn't for those nasty MM's holding us back on purpose. MM's operate on supply and demand. They don't deliberately decide to 'hold a company back'.
They take the risk of buying and selling stock no matter what to 'Make a Market' so that people can buy and sell stock when they choose therefore they get to set the price. If there's more selling than buying they mark the price down because theirs more supply than demand and if their's more buying than selling they mark the price up because theirs more demand than supply. The price is where it is because right now theirs more supply than demand and that's it.
Hey Sparky, why don't you stop talking complete and utter garbage. "Someone obviously trying to keep the SP down".
Really, who's that then? and exactly how have you determined that? Or is it just you talking crap and trying to make out you know what your talking about to try and pump the share.
Stanleyb aka moniman why don't you contact JS and voice your gripes with him direct rather than coming on here and crying about your investment. If you can't hack it when things don't go exactly as you expect maybe investing is not for you.
Your naively confident there Stuart and I fear lulling the more insecure investors into a false sense of security. You have absolutely no idea whether he will succeed or fail, you only hope he will fail because you don't want to accept his offer even if it does undervalue the company. He already has 67.15% and if investors remain invested and he were to succeed and gain the additional % he needs to delist its too late and investors will most likely lose everything as it will be much harder if not impossible to sell your shares.
No thanks I'll stick to my own hypothesis.
It doesn't surprise me that your overweight here. I've seen it time and again whereby people have to come up with a fairytale theory that the 'MM's are dropping the price to get shares to fill a large order' because they just don't want to accept that the price is dropping because peeps are selling.
Complete rubbish, their's just more supply than demand so the price gets marked down and how do you know Mr Kelly bought his full 3.6% in one go recently? You only have to notify once above 3% so as far as you know he may have held 2.99% previously and only bought 0.6% this time round.
It sounds very much like you haven't got a clue how MM's work. In one sentence you've stated 'MM dropping the price again searching for shares' then in the next sentence you've stated 'If they want shares for an order they will have to put up the share price. So according to you they have to both put up and drop the price of the shares simultaneously if they 'want shares'. That would be a neat trick.
MM's regulate the share price based on supply and demand. If demand is high and supply is low they will set the price higher. If demand is low and supply is high they will set the price lower. MM's take the risk of committing to buying and selling a security in order to 'make the market' and as such have the privilege of setting the price.
The take over election deadline has been pushed out to the 2nd May from the 15th March. Quite an extension so it looks like they think they're not going to get the % they need.
They've only gone down a fraction of one percent this time but to me it looks like they've deliberately sold the absolute minimum they have to to get below 5%. It's a bit coincidental they're now on 4.99% which means from now on they no longer need to report they're holding and are free to sell however many they like without having to report.
