Cord was ungeared at the holding company level, however debt at the 'see through level' is completely different (this is the debt of the assets they hold at the project level) below is the relevant bit from their update in March 24.
In aggregate, the Company and its portfolio companies had gross debt equivalent to £695 million at 31 December 2023, and therefore net debt of £593 million. This resulted in gearing as at 31 December 2023 of 4.7x measured as net debt divided by LTM EBITDA (including Company-level costs) or 40.6% measured as net debt divided by GAV[6].
in total about 70% of this debt is fixed rate (no details of how long for) this does not help investors to assess the overall debt risks involved.
Correct. Ungeared and a snip at this price.

CORD had a trading update on the 9th of February last year and they are rather consistent with their trading dates, so hopefully an update tomorrow or very soon with a positive update.
I really think this trust has been punished far too much for it's associate with DGI9, looking a bargain and topped up.

Sounds a good deal, however I would much rather that they fulfilled their buyback programme!

You would think so. On a 45% discount to Nav and double digit potential yield next year it must be oversold. Gives good geographical diversity to my portfolio

Does anyone know what has happened to the share buyback programme? I can't understand why they would not be buying share at this level?

This is not doing well, as is DGI9 not doing well, both off a cliff. Anyone know the reason/s - couldn't only be the very week £ could it? I can't find anything that would explain much. Thanks.

Another company ignoring private investors for a new share offer, not a good image.

Thanks feverclucker ! Will see how my funds go !
Sam, looks like like investment and dividend strategy will be good. I’m here for long term so no issues with fund raise and might buy some more at this price.
That is what these types of investment trusts seem to do, a raise once or twice a year. It is inevitable as they need more capital to buy new assets (and increase their fees). The lesson is to remember that if the IT is performing well a raise is coming so don't go buying in the open market at a large premium as you are likely to be caught out in a few months. My only frustration is that too often these cash raises don't allow us retail investors to get invoved, although to be fair I picked these up through Primary Bid.
What do you make of the share raise fever ? Happy new year.Sam
Yes Sam and SP rising with strong demand, happy days indeed.

not checked this share for a while. Last two weeks all buys and some huge one's at that. Think someone maybe quietly building a stake . All good news here so far and think will only improve. Good luck to you too
Hi Sam, Yeh happy with this and sustained buying. Yes I thought a year end Dividend was mentioned.
Ok overall some winners some losers, good luck mate.

Most grateful thank you. Cheque was cashed July 29th.

Buying continues unabated here, surprise SP not moved up further
Pleased with the growing momentum. The management team here have excellent knowledge of the data centre/tower market. A good long term bet here.
Lots of strong buying here and SP beginning to creep up. Appreciate anyone else's views....?

Do you think this will be available on the Barclays platform? I want to get in early but disappointing it is not available. am i missing something?
It's a good sign when a company that has recently raised money is able to invest it quickly rather than sit on the cash (e.g. there was US Solar Fund that took ages to invest their cash and that was a big drag on performance). I see this primary bid offer as a good sign that they see suitable investments.
Yes, very. The jury is out as far as I'm concerned.
Hi Sam, I was going to ask the same thing. Seems a bit strange so soon after main IPO.
Ant thoughts on rns and c share offering. Should we go for this ?

Hi robertz , really appreciate your reply. Didn't realise the option was going up in price later. We 'hope' to be allowed to have a family wedding in early July and have been somewhat distracted as a result. A very nervous daughter and wife to manage ! Thank you once again and fingers crossed for us both that this comes really good.
Our applications are through our broker who did the IPO for us. The applications go through once each month.
The £1.00 price for the subscription goes up in August /
It looks worth applying now if you can as the company seems to be delivering on the IPO statements.
Got some of these at time of issue. Presumably they can be bought and transferred into 'real' shares ? Can anyone offer advice about these and best time to act etc ? Thank you
Hi. I’m looking at possibly getting in on this share . There are 2 x cordiant share prices . One at about 3p and this one . Can anyone tell me what’s the difference.? are they the same company ?

It will be interesting to see if they can buy at lower valuations and use less leverage than other investors in similar sectors
