Chirpy welcome on board.
Not sure the rise was due to your own investment here but of course all investors are welcome whether its 1 or 1m shares or more, the more the better. IMO
But between the last 2-3 weeks there have been millions and millions of buys, myself included was hundreds of thousands at a time but have plenty more purchases than that over the past 3-4 years. I'm invested in the long term like many here.
Thanks for joining, stick with it is all I can say, I'm sure others can provide a more technical response to mine.
GLA and DYOR
You misunderstand me. I own a shedload of HUM as well as CORA. I was attracted to HUM because they have genuinely achieved a strategic success in having 3 separate production sites. I am annoyed with them because despite running an open pit mine and enjoying record gold prices they cannot seem to extract the stuff at a profit. Things seem to happen to them that happen to no one else. Slope slippage, broken down excavators , poor grade control, the site being occupied by ne'er do wells and then subsequently flooded etc etc. In short I'm hanging on for a miracle!
Cora aren't yet producing but they look by contrast a professional bunch.
We've locked horns on HUM, as you're not a fan.
I've a lot in HUM but did buy 300k plus shares here yesterday- hence the rise.
Sold a few HUM today and looking to reinvest proceeds so why CORA rather than HUM ?
That's it AG1989.....keep your feet on the ground here....and by all means gamble a bit with small investments in the next GGP? .....I do....Here we have .....I repeat myself over the years.....open in ALL directions.....so this "tortoise" will be a Great play....It's a real goldmine of a share! LOL.

Yeah it was all adding up for me over there. I was super bullish, and you learn and I had no issues holding my hand up and realising, the investment just didn’t suit me any longer. That’s not to say it won’t be a success, but there were many short comings which made “value” hard to come by
Sanankoro & Cora, by no means, do I think this is a 20 bagger, and there’ll be no issues. There will be, like every investment. But the fundamentals surrounding it lead me to think that in the not too distant future (12-24 months), the company can be explorer turned producer on a very good asset. I’m trying to buy into that from a low market cap perspective and Hope these fundamentals come together and see the company grow

I agree re resource established stocks. I will only invest in stocks with proven defined resources now. I think I exited ECR even before you. Made the mistake of telling the BB and Christ what a reaction!!!
Yes I've got a lot of holdings in junior goldies and boy have they been out of fashion. However, I've noted a definite rotation in the past few days and this is probably the only stock that hasn't moved significantly. At least that I can detect. Probably because it is not earning anything right now. However, each day passes makes the day when the first gold is poured closer.
Consequently, topped up...
Exactly :) - That's the difference I've identified in my investment strategy. There are Companies out there building real tangible assets. The biggest risk for me in this sector, are companies fundraising and plowing millions into projects year after year, with very little return, or not really building up a Resource. 2022 should materialise very well here
Yes AG...im out of ECR now ...as you say...there is an actual tangible resource here with a solid plan in place to make it happen...drills are in the ground and historically the trend here indicates an upward push through to August..
There's a lot to like
AG agreed and well said as always :D I was just mentioning "Stataferic" potential but this is a share that is and has already proven its self of course.
GLA
Stocktow - To me it goes beyond "potential". The word potential for me implies a number of high valued results still need to be executed. There's always a feeling of unknown when drilling, for these companies with "potential"
-ECR has potential
-EEE has potential
-ORR has potential
ie, all of the above have identified and intersected Gold in a number of their holes, but a lot more work needs carrying out to see whether these assets can be commercialised and taken further
Sanankoro is proven. It's an 800,000 oz project, open in many directions and the big one for me, is the term sheet which gives this a future. Many positive days ahead - DYOR
I thought it took 4-6 weeks to get the assays back and a further week or so to collate? We were told that the drill program had started on March 16th….. I think it ambitious to expect anything before April 20th but you never know, today’s rise has come out of the blue!
Oapk20... that would be nice to see, I'm in it for the long haul but we all know this has strasiferic potential as AG keeps reminding us all!
Just itching to see the next new drill campaign results but issuing them seems to be lagging!?
Or will good news be pegged by a placing before marching on to 20 levels on drill results before DFS or after ?
Lots of Gold shares on the increase today. Some good news could push this one to higher levels.
with an average of 8.013p......I'm nearly back in the blue......it's been a while!

I'm not sure how much more interest from memory between today and last week there must have been c.5-6m shares sold. When compared to the past 3 months its been thr biggest set of buys in a while?
hello hello. nice rise. we need volume and interest. As I said the other day - it's been straining at the leash and just needed some interest to get it going...
Candlestick - agree with your 08:52 post. I don't think Cora will hang around with the Term Sheet, because under the current timeline, they are looking to commence mine construction in 2022?
Looking back at last year, they started the drilling on 1 March and the first update was when they’d actually drilled 7,500m (22nd April)
I would hope to get some interim updates, so expect some news pretty soon on progress
Results this week?
2 drills have been spinning for 3-4 weeks, and with an average assay turnaround quicker than most jurisdictions I can’t see them being far off. Not really concentrating on the price as much lately. I know the potential here, and the risks. But the near term opportunity to send Sanankoro close to 1Moz, followed by a Feasibility study should drive this forward eventually. There’ll be plenty of volatile share price movements inbetween. You could strike at 6p, or wait and miss the jump to 10. Who knows
Just DYOR and be content with your executions. All investors and traders will have different strategies, respect that and look after yourself.
I don’t think it can be dragged on for months as it will either be 10% discount on previous 30-day VWAP (from date of DFS release) or based on any fundraising price from previous 60 days.
So, the second the DFS is released, we know the placing price. As long as the current term sheet agreement is still in place of course.
I'm not disagreeing Legalwolf... I can see what you preach from my "trader" eyes...but as an investor for longer term...I think that half of me is comfortable with the current market cap/SP...so I'll stay holding and top up when price action permits and incentifies me! GLA
Sorry last sentence was meant to read, it would be good for BM to come out and confirm when the Term Sheet fundraise will be executed after the DFS is issued.
