Indeed but what was first the chicken or the egg.
Haha
Just a waiting game. That is all.
Well said HB. Bizarre SP movement at the moment.
It seems to me that the deal of 4th June 2020 is really conditional on two points -
1. Legal documentation being completed
2. The licence at OPL226 being extended
Those two matters complete the deal.
It seems to me that the legal documentation should be fairly straightforward, barring unforeseen circumstances. Both sets of lawyers will be experts and such agreements will have been completed may times before. Such matters are within the control of the parties, COPL and Essar.
The licence could be more problematic. The parties have been in conflict for many years and as a result have not actually drilled on the block. Maybe the Nigerians have been none too impressed by such behaviour, and at the least require concrete assurances that such is in the past and would not continue if an extension were granted.
Perhaps explains partly why AM has been so effusive in his recent RNS's concerning their relationship and why the parties have been unable to complete the deal and yet still said only two weeks ago regarding 4th August " we both hope this will be wrapped up earlier than that."
"Hope" suggests that neither is in complete control of the present situation.
Then look at the trades going through in the days prior to 4th June 2020. Although the price was much lower than today there were some unusually large trades in the few days prior to the "game changing" announcement.
Similar situation over the last 10 days or so, with a number of unusually large trades.
Maybe there is a requirement for all the parties (both front and back of house) in the present situation to be perfectly aligned prior to things moving forwards.
The large trades suggests that the stars are aligning in a perfect manner.
So I'm not overly bothered with the timing - a few days or even weeks - here and there.
Key date is end September.
Chillaxed til then.
Of course, could be bumper news tomorrow, if all the stars are perfectly placed.
Orderly? Explain
Amazing nevertheless that in spite of a trunami of Buys in the last hour the MMs are holding the price below .40. Does make you wonder if we are playing with a marked deck
As I said earlier MM’s trade in shares so will use every trick in the book they can.
By keeping it low, they will have shares sold to them around the 0.36p level, upon news, they will go to NT and sell for about 0.80p (if it’s the ness we all hope for).
yep.
If this deal doesnt go through that £million placee investor is not going to be a happy chappy not mentioning the staff who have forgone wages for shares.
All pointers are up GLA
Agree Hawkes any other share would have rocketed. It does feel like manipulation not natural market movement.
Who are we to challenge though?
Bolton go easy on the Ouzo mate. You may be out of it when the fun starts
always a doubt when labelled time after hours as if during after hours auction time placed
if not mostly time completed, had up to 50 after hours stamped all the way to 8:30 PM on
EUA each day when it went nuts all the biggest trades of the day and labelled sell or unk
by the machine that adds all data after trade amount , all at prices that could only have
been placed during the morning
price had moved on big time but algo machine still applies what it sees as current range
Last top up for me only small good luck all.
There was no sells at that SP yesterday, there were trades in RED for 0.40p but at the time they were actually buys as I was doing dummy buys/sells.
Well there was the "leak" trade I wanted to see yesterday. The crafty MMs his it until now.
Hold tight
That’s a serious punt for a share that’s under half a penny, nearly £300K.
Well, delay or not, good news is around the corner.
Thanks liquid, confirmed as a buy. WOW!!
Nice 8K buys coming in.
