Mark is a prolific liar that’s why hes had all front line involvement taken away by big Jim , he was becoming an embarrassment for condor there’s one poster here who knows mark dislike for me is because I know. 3 in the room😜😜🤪
What has he lied about?. He has always seemed pretty straight to me.
Plainly there have been changes of strategy but that does not mean he lied
The lead time on sale.
The massive u-turn on productionisation following Mill purchase, and the subsequent double down on the fact that "well, we're just *not miners* are we lol"...stupid comment that was.
Lead time on binding offers being imminent
One thing he was truthful about was updating shareholders when there's news, I guess. I actually like Mark. But it's painfully clear that the approach to the sale, comments about reluctance to actually build the mine ourselves (why you'd proactively remove that leverage yourself is beyond me) combined with sanctions has absolutely kneecapped his credibility and the share price.
Operative term here is deffo the lead time. BUT I can deal with that if Jim grabs the baton and drives this home.
Jim Mellon's stubbornness combined with the value of the asset are both absolutely whopping USPs. You're not invested in a gold mine, you're invested in JM's ability to bring home a solid deal.
And Jim's absolutely the guy to get the thing done.
I am sure he believed what he said about the lead time when he said it. It’s a serious matter to call someone a liar
There is a lot more going for the sale at this time than it was 12 months ago, when the same type of comments were being made about the time it was taking. It has been a very long wait, but no news is no news. If we’re close to finalising a deal it will remain quiet.
As far as I can see it was Mellon that forcast 150 k oz production for this year then turned around and stated we are not mine builders🤥
Glad I set a limit sell for 36p. Still have some left just in case. Agree e l, need to read the pump and
Simms, Omi😜. Big day elsewhere . Pan American going great nm etc. too much going up to sit like apostles in Groundhog Day for me. Good luck
Jim is a promoter himself really, that's partly what master investor is about, it allows him to big up his companies.
In fairness, gold juniors have always been very risky, with lots of issues along the way; so it is a well known strategy in the sector to paper over the bad, try to keep the investment coming in, as they are all generally loss making.
The same went for the big gold miners in the last supercycle, they were wasting money left right and centre. This is one of the main reasons gold miners in general remain in the dirt, investors don't trust them.
My opinion is that a lot of people got into gold miners via condor via master investor / Jim's rubber stamp of approval. I do have an issue with them spending money on the mill and then about turning and deciding not to produce. Everything else I consider to be fairly normal for a junior miner. But the company has to do an update soon.
Polo. Fair post. Yes if you go back through presentations you will come by the forcast to drill for 3 m oz Then we buy a mill for $7 m and now apparently after forecasting 150 k oz production for this year we are not producers ! Extra oz would have been more useful.
Oh well . Whether to re buy 36p shares hmm?
Good to see a fair number of buying transactions today. Not many big purchases but any excess from yesterday is being mopped up. You just never know what might happen on monday as somehow i think the big news will happen on one monday this month.
Simms you are relentlessly positive
It passes the time I guess.
Absolutely f all happening in the interim.
