Sounds very much like it will be Sheffield to me - why would LB take it to the wire if they completed their DD months ago!
You expect delays with CMET.
Brilliant interview. I really like how Greg comes across, no BS, straight talking, get stuff done kind of guy.
Hopeful of deal done before 15th of May.
Onwards and upwards
Sorry meant Q1 2026
If everything goes well, producing Q1 2025, that's longer than I thought. Also got the impression he's trying to prepare market for possibility not meeting mid May deadline. I'm not concerned about that, almost expected it, always thought it would be tight.
Nice interview that. Thanks Paul for posting it
Spot on.. you check out the calibre of previous companies and it’s a whos who of 00’s million and billion pound market caps.. might be something special here
Hmmmmmm, wonder why everyone wants a piece of mineral sands now?????
i called it 2 months ago from USA senate discussion........remember

These guys only interview serious quality companies there block list is huge.
Bed and Isa transaction
Some decent size buys just landing... a sniff of news?
Tomorrow then? Fingers crossed 🤞
I think you’re right. I suspect the main parts of the deal have been agreed and we are now just fine tuning… I hope so anyways
I’d say the deal is done on sense it’s been agreed (especially of titanium announcement has said so) for publishing though can still be some finer legal details/wording and depending on what deal looks like.. is it Joint development agreement or Shareholders agreement (through experience SHA negotiations/discussions can be quite tedious!) hopefully something announced soon though!
You say that the RNS is ready to go? Where is it? Fax issues?
I agree with your logic OTP - it’s a toe in the door rather than their giant-making move. Unless this unlocked a huge amount of funding, it’s beyond SR’s capacity.
Im actually flummoxed , ive been expecting one every day for about a week mate. dont know what the hold up is, probably still drinking champagne.
If your talking that kind on buyout price (which would be amazing) then I don’t think that’s within SR reach.. 20million aud in cash.. market cap circa 106m there isn’t a feasible way of funding a deal worth 150m .. debt wise.. they could issue equity but not sure that’s a smart move either.
My take with SR has always been they have never wanted to own this with LB around.. being in this allows them to be part of a world class mineral sand developer with one of the big players in LB so grows their own business enormously with a derisked approach (why wouldn’t you want to be involved with someone willing to fund all the capex. And in event of a full sale to LB then they stem to make a fairly chunky return.. just my take but I’d place my cards more with LB being the driver as they have the access to capital.
If they offer 50p a share I'll be doing cartwheels into the sun!
Right money on the table time again A, are you going for another Friday RNS?
If SR offer 50p per share then i will say tyvm and walk off into the sunset a very happy man.
Is Sheffield's strategy to takeout CMET, and let LB do the heavy financial lifting at the project level? If LB do get their 50%, then Sheffield certainly aren't going to be happy with only 10%.
My prediction is week commencing the 13th May
It would be funny if the split was SR-10, LB-40 as that other minerals company included in their RNS the other week
Given the potential selling for 3X profit seems far too soon. Missed out on a 20 bagger once doing the same thing. The asset is worth minimum X10 the current level and that doesn't include any resource expansion. We just need the funding. Wasn't the prediction this week?
Whilst I’m not selling, if people got in at 1-2p and are offloading now they’ve possibly trebled their money already and tbh CMET have been a tough share to stick with given all the false dawns and mismanagement imo from Frayne.
More positive news to come, CMET seem to have a good CEO, demonstrated in the last 6 months.
That said I’m not selling, the potential here could be life changing money, so I’m holding onto my shares until we see in excess of 50p
Each to their own, do your own research and GLA
Each to their own but no way is now the time to be selling any of these. i am dumbfounded by these sells......you are about to at least treble from now in the next short period of time...
strange
The closing price today was interesting. Highest for quite a while. 7am time again. Lol
