Hello Bonkers, I hope you’re having a great Monday. Indeed, the circa 60 sp is not good and is not good progress. When I was referring to the good progress, I was referring to how this stock is now following the general trend of the market. Before, we used to be down no matter whether the markets were up or down themselves.
Nevertheless, I am very hopeful for a rise to the 80s again, hopefully we get there soon!
JG68 FTSE350 slightly in the red, hope it bounces back quick. I think the only stock which wasn't down was IAG, as soon as FTSE350 went into the green it bounced to 10% up.
Not so bad being lumped in with travel!!
It's back in the green, FTS350 now is going up!!
Cine are in the FTS350 and nearly all are in the red!
Mountainous how can you say we have made GOOD progress , start of July late 80s around 14th July late 50s , and since then been bubbling around in the 60s.
We now sit at 61 and people here think that's GOOD , I'm staggered. Until we get back to at least the high 80s no-one should be happy or content with 60s.
My opinion no progress has been made with regards to the s.p , and until next financials it's all guess work on how good we have done in-between.
Personally I think we are in for a bumper quarter , but it may take financials for the market to fully accept that.
With luck the s.p may rise with bond and then hopefully bumper financials can propel us back towards £1.
Take a look at the US pre-market, it’s all red. Perhaps the day I increase some positions in my portfolio, but note that the CINE drop today is market related.
I must say, we’ve made good progress from the days when the markets were green and CINE was in the red always. At least now we’re reacting in line with the markets. Once Evergrande is dealt with and COVID fears settle I think we’re going to see the markets flying again hopefully.
Awful day thanks to MMs and not even 2.30 yet.
With this share I'm 50/50 between the two as fundamentals and sentiment rarely prevail with it.
Don't believe in superstition. Fundamentals and sentiment will prevail.
Please don’t jinx it.
Said I wouldn't go again, but just topped up. Now over a third of my portfolio...
FTSE looks ready to bounce back! Would take any finish above 63p today
Markets tanking today cine only 1% down
So what your trying to say in a nut shell is bond will be big and you think it will make lots of money.
When has it ever NOT been big , cineworld shut its doors on the news that bond was being delayed that says it all.
For over a year everyone has been looking forward to bond and the revenue it brings , predicting its going to be big is like saying "I think Christmas will be in December this year"
You don't need to try and convince us with a story, I'm pretty sure EVERYONE agrees with you.
Last time I am going to mention this on here for I am confident in my own judgement. Believe that or not I really am not bothered one way or the other.
I have alluded several times on here recently to the fact I monitor one particular cinema as a barometer of the level of customer demand on films and it previously called things spot on with several films and in particular the success of Peter Rabbit 2's opening in the UK. (CINE RNS'd this)
On the new Bond film I flagged extremely strong pre-bookings on Day 1 when tickets went on sale. Day 2 also adding many more and with the cinema adding another showing to several showings already amidst high level demand.
I am now seeing numerous of those screenings Sold Out, Extremely high demand on the others (and most of those will go the same way imho). They have also now added yet another showing on several of the days.
What is even more striking is that there is already an extremely high level of bookings stretching through into the next week.
Still 11 days to go as well to opening and for the full marketing and promotional bandwagon to kick in proper and for things to intensify with, TV interviews, Chat show appearances, Further tv adverts, the Glitz and Glamour and worldwide media off the UK Worldwide Premiere, then word of mouth kicks in.
Also remember that AMC (Odeon's owner) have upped their prices and that CINE have also recently increased their pricings in the UK of the premium seatings (IMAX, ScreenX and 4DX) Hopefully Regal the same.
I think quite a few "walk in" customers who turn up on the night to try and book might find themselves disappointed. Dyor please.
