Up pops another tick. 10 posts to their name.
See if we can guess who this multi-Id is?
Have a good evening. I intend to.
Is that down adjusted for inflation?
I agree with you lat. I did write a post earlier with a similar theme but I accidently deleted before posting.
YTD Domestic (us) box office is 34.2% down from 2019 prices the share price is c.90% down from 2019 prices.
Even with the risk of the appeal not going our way I would expect this to sit at / between 30-40p.
Tegop I wouldn't even try and find any excuse. The share price is where it is due to constant knocks from market makers and friends to recycle the free float of shares, and without giving any of it back. In fact any good Box Offices have been punished here also since cinemas reopened. Any surprise it is where it is and why people just switch off and go and find other things to do with their time.
As an example CINE was 41p pre Ukranian conflict with all existing problems and nowhere near the summer Box office that has been rattling through the tills in the last two very good months. Plenty popcorn also out there and other producers emerge closer to home.
It is amazing how a 900M US domestic June month failed to swing the SP of cinema chains not named AMC. The month is at least 80% of pre pandemic but SP barely budged. The market may be risk off due to being burned by pandemic hype stocks and/or interest rate hikes.
Suppose no news is good news as they say :-)
I don’t quite know if the execs are trying to be quiet for the sake of the case. I think it is sort of a case now of ‘just trust me bro’ from the execs, we don’t know what they are doing but we just have to trust that they will find a way out of it.
We discussed the existence of BC 1232743 last week, and we were informed that as recently as February the company’s registration had been renewed.
The execs are extremely quiet this month. We did not get any RNS other than saying the H1 earnings will be sept instead of the usual Aug. Every bit of news we had to ask IR.
Some more imminent than others.
Agreed, but this is the biggie I feel.
Results, rcf, covenants, BO numbers will have an impact here and there of maybe a few pence but that would ramp it right up to the 50s and beyond at the least if favourable to us?
There will be several events prior to that.
BO
The sooner the cineplex case is resolved the better for us all.
Big noose hanging over our heads causing a lull in the SP despite the encouraging BP numbers
cekim in answer to your question I think people just switch off when the share price is so low.
Constant downward hits and not giving it back has resulted in a situation where an $800M NA Box Office in May and over $900M in June, and successive good audience numbers, the share price is sat where it was with all cinemas closed in the deep midst of a pandemic.
That's it in a nutshell.
Not a bad idea that AllKap and I've got Elvis coming up.
The other thing you can also do is pre-book your tickets in advance.
I just earlier today booked self and family into the Imax for the opening weekend of Thor, Love and Thunder and it was already filling up. In that way you get to choose the mid row seats for the best all round experience imho. They fill up the quickest.
Over to Mooky and Nisan Cohen for what they do come the end of the month with what must be bumper revenues and profits.
It’s a bit strange to tell you this but try to go one more time to the cinema before Thursday 30th. I usually go to the cinema on the weekend but I have book with my wife to see Jurassic World on Wednesday. She asked me why? I told her that it will be good for the H1 result. So guys stay strong don’t look at the SP the B.O. is a good metrics I would say. Try to go with your family and friends before Thursday midnight so Cine can release a good H1 22 report.
General malaise and apathy has clearly set in -personally I have stopped checking in here as regularly or the share price - I only check box office to track results - it’s obvious this will refuse to move until the inevitable court case outcome which feels a long long way off
Don't think ther s anything new to be said that's not known to everyone whose regularly on here.
The only thing changing day to day is the numbers going to see the flicks bringing revenues piling in and the new movie releases.
Everything about the new films has been looking positive but nothing about god damn share rising.
I got very hight feeling they will keep this level to **** up so many people who hold the shares at high level . They know we will get out as soon as we meet out break even .
I really hope to see the days where people were overjoyed and buzzing on this bb, and people sending rockets etc etc
If we get some really great news (RCF and dissenting payment successful and Cineplex dealt with) then I think this bb will be busy again. I remember on the day I sent the AGM info after it had finished and it got over 30 likes from what I remember, all from different people. I think there are a lot on the sidelines. CINE in itself is a good investment, it’s just these headwinds which are serious at the moment. Once they pass, I think many will flock to CINE. Let’s wait and see what happens.
Certainly a lot less posts than usual, I think everyone has had enough seeing how much a certain film has brought in but virtually no movement on the SP, as we all know the SP was 6 times higher when we were closed ! just grates a bit really.

I’m sure they’re not tired at all, and will be back soon.
Derampers had nothing to gloat over and they must be tired of rehashingh their old BS.
Is this website working properly?
Only 2 posts all day and a rise in the SP.
