Just back from seeing it in the superscreen in Glasgow Silverburn. Good number of people there (for a 10:30 showing). Pretty formulaic and no major surprises but it was excellent. I do enjoy a marvel film but this was so much better than green screen/cgi. Brilliant film and reckon we will go again next week. Good old fashioned edge of the seat action film. Thoroughly recommend it. Cheesy as hell :-)
@deltalo if the SP goes to a £1 my purchase is Ducati Panigale V2/V4 almost got it last year when SP was £1+ but being greedy, stupid and inexperienced I held as it dropped, perhaps next year.
Good luck
I’m going to see it later today, I’m looking for to it. When the sp goes above £1 a share I’m going to buy a Kawasaki Z10 ninja carbon 2, just like the one from the film.
Cineworld’s revenue before covid was 4.3 billion and were paying 3p a share dividend, so last year it was 1.8 billion, I expect it to be 3-4 billion this year and that’s only because of the lack of films in first thee months.
Regal should start to show its true value throughout the rest of the year so revenue could be a lot higher,
I’m ready for the popcorn coke and the whole experience of seeing a 5* rated film again in iMAX 2D.
Went to watch last night at my local Cineworld (Illford). What a movie!! The least I can say is that It's a masterpiece and definitely will surpass 1billion mark. Good days for Cineworld and Cinema overall.
Not surprised RS2002 as he has got the marketing absolutely spot on for this.
I also saw quick tv adverts last night popping up constantly at commercial breaks on 5USA last night and they are were also advertising Jurassic World Dominion on there as well.
No substitute also for word of mouth with family and friends and influencers working their magic.
Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness started off what should be a very good summer for both my shares in Cineworld and Everyman Cinema.
Cruise and Paramount are already on target for a big weekend, with the film making $19.2 million in its preview showings. Paramount said that represents its highest-grossing preview in the company's history and the highest-grossing Memorial Day weekend preview ever.
This movie is about to reacquaint cross generations back to cinema going. This is a big event and one that will hopefully put to bed any notion cinema is just superhero’s and 15-24 year olds.
The importance and significance of this movie should not be underestimated.
