told yah
Strange that there has been no announcement about the departure of Ashley Lane, the MASS MD (see MASS website). Recent acquisitions MCL and J+S Marine seem to be the only parts still winning business
I note FLIR have bought Norwegian Prox Dynamics who make the UAV MCL have a major support contract for. FLIR have UK offices = risk to MCL on exiting contract perhaps
Anyone know what the reason for the 6%+ rise today
The annual report does not seem to paint a good picture for order intake....
Quiet board! IC again tip Cohort today on the back of yet another defence contract awarded. Sadly, given turmoil around the world, defence, especially electronics, is a growth area and CHRT are performing strongly
Jamie Nimmo On AIM, Cohort gained 17p to 412p after securing a two-year contract worth £9.7m to provide training and exercise support to the Ministry of Defence
Agreed - looks another good bolt on - Cohort has excellent growth potential and with the MOD committed to 2% of GDP spending on defence the future is looking good.
This looks like a very good deal announced this morning . It will be interesting to see if the Market agrees .

out mon 15th -- lots of contract wins - so hopeful of something good !!
I have found the same as bilboburger on 22 Oct. Today prices shown as 240/250 and I bought at a tad below 245. Odd. Another nice contract win rns today and results due 15 Dec. I like their biz performance and the fact that a director owns 26%/26m value, so his interests are aligned with mine. SP has had a good run but more to go imho.
market makers showing spread at 8 p, checked real orders and really 4.4p
But I think this alraedy in the forecast, so expected not new.
Excellent news.
23 mill contract for sea!!! And that's a just half the story from what I've heard!! This is huge!
CHRT is one my old familiars and managed to achieve 3 straight days down accumulating -7%. Now all we need is this crazy market to callm down and it would be worth getting back in
Late reported buy..£37k!! But I'm just talking to myself...
Er that's tastey RNS
Was good but I smell something far bigger round the corner.. Recent sp uptrend .. Decent buys on a quiet share.. Dismiss this as an unsubstantiated ramp you must. But a taste yens on the next week? Well it would be nice eh?
Excellent acquisition announced this morning . This will help the share price
Good luck with keeping your shares for 5-10 years before market conditions improve. Given current liquidity, low interest rates and a benign inflation rate, it ain't going to get any better than it is now. Perhaps you meant 5-10 months?
Cohort has done the right things, sold a business unit for a good price, made an attractive acquisition. They also say they see other opportunties for add. acquisitions. Still a lot of cash available to do so, so let's hope they continue to make more attractive acquisitions. Difficult market conditions, so expect them to do much better once the goverment starts to spend more. I am going to keep my shares for the next 5 to 10 years untill market conditions have improved and a more efficient financing structure is in place.
forward EV/EBIT about 11.4
Big sell after close and AGM tomorrow....coincidence?
