Anyone know what the reason for the 6%+ rise today
I have sold after holding for 3 years now, the main reason is because of the Directors selling, I would have held if it was the trading statement alone (despite it being disappointing) but with the directors selling at our expsense along with the trading statement I have lost confidence. The industry has became increasingly competitive, however I am too watching and will consider re-buying if it goes round 550 as this share is a cash-cow
An interim was paid after the collapse of the takeover of Playtech but it came in January
Lets hope you are right, i will be very surprised if the results aren't ahead of expectations considering the volatility, and the weak pound will help the divi
To be honest I think we are a long way off from 180p, however I do see this share going above 100 this year and hopefully upwards from there as they continue releasing more products
I have been trading PLUS500 since it listed on the stock exchange. Please stop arguing like children on here and Gige please leave this forum you have been disrupting it for weeks with pointless comments. This forum is to discuss whether you think the stock it to buy or short depending on the prospects of the company making money not your individual dislike of the company.
I was looking forward to the results tomorrow but after a significant fall today (when the share price normally move) I have a bad feeling - I hope I am wrong
Lack of trading, the less trading the bigger the spread.
We could all do with an update of this "strategic review"
Just bought in, although it has its risks this share does look cheap for the potential that it has with an excellent pipeline.
Amazing results and divi in particular! I bought in round 300 after the deal fell through, and now on a yield of 15%, going to hold for as long as the dividend stays at this!
Thanks very much for the info on the presentation Rivaldo If you haven't notice Woodford has certainly taken a major interest with a 29% stake! Which is more than a good sign! Back upto 80s and beyond hopefully now
Did anyone go to the investor event? Got any info on how it was?
Does anyone know what these 8.3 forms mean?
Unfortunately can't make it but would love to know what they say! I personally look at this strategic review as a positive as i don't think they will go for any deal below 80p per share.
Or just time, the reason why I am not too bothered is because it is a pharmaceutical company that isn't affected by world affairs, the growth will continue and in a few years will be 200+
Interesting comment, I like to believe BOD as well as they are big shareholders so I can't see why they would misled knowing that it would come to stab them in the back
The shares currently trade on eight times forecast earnings, and come with a 4.2 per cent forward yield based on Peel Hunt's forecast. Local government contract work leaves very little room for error, which may explain the knock-down valuation. But the group possesses good earnings visibility thanks to its £595m order book. We continue to rate the shares a speculative buy.
I think you have missed the boat for that one, Odey have sold their majority. I don't see it going below 400 here
Now we know the reason for the recent share price drop, Odey has been making big sells! I personally don't think it is of importance as Odey obviously wanted to reduce its 25% stake!
