Can anyone comment on why this share seems so volatile? Granted the movement is always within a narrow range but it is a little unsettling when I see my portfolio go red every other morning! I looked on the FCA list of Short Positions and CHRT does not appear there but it would appear that there is a lot more movement up/down on this share than many others I hold...?
Chrt should benefit from today's announcement of huge increase in defence spending. Was going to buy into the small rise but huge spreads now. Nervous greedy mm's only like a one way bet on their terms
Oops! Hi Seattle - you are not alone! I have had 40,000 shares with CHRT for quite a long time and will continue to hold for the foreseeable future. Just wanted to let you know that there are indeed others around who share your enthusiasm. Best wishes - stay safe.
Hi Seattle,
Good contract announced this morning .
Wonderful results this morning . This is my best share up 148% since I bought it . . It will be interesting to see how the market reacts today . Happy Christmas .
2 unusually large buys today, both logged at 09.59 for 100000 pounds each. Stakebuilding quietly?
Seems I am still talking to myself!! Big rise today, now up 15%+ in last 5 days. Maybe the bid is getting closer.....
Am I the only holder here?! Board still very quiet although shares have claimed steadily for 2 months now and are up 20% in that time, when the market is sideways to down.
Is this indicative of a bid in the offing??
This is a very very quiet board! Inv chronicle reveal a contract win from Royal Navy and share price made a small, grudging move upwards
slow but steady moves up. maybe the increased (!) nato spending will benefit chrt
Should bring the P/E back to under 10 - was 30 plus as full acquisition cost fully written down last time.
What time today are the results announced?
Seattle yes good rns...........
AIM-listed technology group Cohort said on Tuesday that its SEA subsidiary has won a contract with an initial value of 700,000 with a UK government agency to lead a team in the area of soldier system research and development. The contract is for 2018 but is likely to continue until 2021, with a potential total value of more than 3m. Under the contract, SEA will lead a team of specialist companies to develop a weapon system that combines novel and emerging small arms technologies to produce an integrated system that will deliver greater efficacy for the individual soldier on the battlefield. Chief executive Andy Thomis said: "This contract recognises our position at the forefront of soldier system research and development and our capability as a prime contractor. This contract award, together with other recent wins, enhances the visibility of future group revenue."
A good RNS today yet the price declines . Did somebody buy on the rumour to sell on the news as the saying goes.
Cohort now selling internally into EID so currencies an issue whichever way it goes..
Nice to see an RNS saying all is well this has helped the share price bounce a bit this week .
UK defence outlook poor unless companies export, as cheap. Ultra electronics statement ripple effect. No UK orders for some time in Cohort though so risk of tail eating.
Yes cm45 I think you are right .AIM shareholders are very nervous at the moment .
Rns confirming additional purchase of already planned Portuguese electronic arm, and more importantly, confirmed on track for results as forecast GroupWide. I think market had priced in a profit warning unnecessarily. Look forward to next rns 13/12
results I believe are 13th December, may hold a clue
No. Can't find any news. Sales volumes not high, but someone clearly knows something??
Does anybody know why this price is going down everyday ?
told yah
