I think it was a buy. Trade price was 6.3p. Looks like the transaction was earlier in the day, Mark the SP down to generate a few sellers. MM’s aren’t getting my shares on the cheap. Very compelling story, great management, fully funded drilling campaign, management own shares, small market cap, what’s not to like :-). DYOR as usual. GLA
Yes macca the percussion drilling is proving the geology and ensuring low risk targets for the diamond drilling later in the year. The management have an idea of the favourable areas already but there are so many it is right to narrow them right down to the best.
New here, but building a stake from a few weeks back around 5pence. Topped up today across my accounts as the future does seem compelling.
Normally, I would suggest the gap down at 5.3 would close (and it may still - great buying op. if it does), but the upcoming newsflow if the new targets perform as expected may hold that off....
The diamond drills are what will be really interesting though - am I right in thinking the plan is to commence those later this year?
Clearly there is a lot of speculation here still - but I guess that is why you get a 4 million MCAP (or less!) but the team here are exceptional.... Seeing ARC today..... it is a way off for CHF, but the future here could be quite remarkable regardless of the necessary dilution if these targets perform as expected.......
Nicely cash, I will not be rushing to leave either.
Levi - I am sticking around for sure - the fundamentals are sound - at least for a rise till £20 mill mcap.
Cash I have heard the same regarding GGP and others many times and many of us have similar tales of woe. But without a crystal ball you just have to trust your instincts and try not to get too down about it. It's a bit like playing fantasy football and swapping out the player that scores a hat trick in the next match while the player you have put in gets injured in the first ten minutes.
I think there will be times to take profits with this but then buy back the dips as I think it's potential is better than many small caps. The excellent management team and assets warrants a much better rating and I am sure it will come.
Cheers - I do think this is one to hold on to for a while. There will be hiccups along the road. But that's the way it is. Would you believe me if I said I invested in GGP, was in it when it was 0.5pence, trusted the product and delivery but then sold. Look at it now.
I think CHF has tremendous potential, in particular right now - 4 mill mcap - nothing to complain about.
Hi cash2. At some stage the company will need to raise for a diamond drilling campaign but assume that unlikely until all is known from the current percussion drilling. But we can only issue 20% new shares which is circa 12.5m shares. The company will want to get as much as they can from that so will want to keep the sp up and the good news rolling. 8p would give them £1m which would provide them enough for a decent diamond drill campaign and prove up a decent resource especially as it will be targeted thanks to the current percussion drilling.
Just my assumptions, the company may have something else in mind.
Levi - what about offerings - the company can still issue warrants - and it will need money for what it is doing - would like to hear your views on that please ?
Espadrilles you might be ok, it might drift a bit until the drilling restarts.
You are welcome. The main listing is a bit of insurance against Aim like mass dilution. I said maximum of circa 13m shares but think it is about 12.4m which would still mean less than 75m shares in issue.
Thanks for your comprehensive answer Levi. A very good point about the main listing- I'd overlooked this consideration.
Frustratingly I am transferring an ISA into HL which I was planning to use to buy a lot more of these. Annoyingly it hasn't yet completed, so they will be a lot more expensive by the time it does.
It is important to remember that this is on the Main List and can only issue 20% of share capital each year so currently they can only issue another circa 13m shares this year which at the current sp will get us around #1m which will pay for a fairly extensive diamond drilling project on these relatively shallow holes.
It is important to remember that this will not be required until later in the year once the percussion drills have been properly scrutinised.
Very early stages yet. I'm holding my position until we get real figures. I thought they were funded for the diamond drilling. I hope this isn't another MNC dilute, dilute then sell for peanuts.
