Yup, sold out on GGG at a nice profit and went into these. They look good on paper and like you I think in the medium term they will do well, no rush for me
Company is sitting on cash and has no debt plus there is a limited amount of shares available to investors once this picks up it will rocket. anybody holding these?
You are right, patience is needed. Will hold and forget for a while as a long termer.
Their website has just been updated with all the latest facts and figures so DYOR. Good luck all.
To buy up 8 small inefficient gold mines with dangerous working conditions and little mechanization then drill the area to locate gold seams. Finally drive a 4KM long tunnel through all 8 mines to create one large safe efficient mine. It takes time and will not be completed until 2011 but for the investor with a longer term view 26p is a bargain price for these shares.
The market takes a dive and these shares don't move in my book thats a good thing.
going to do anything? Tempted to get out, anyone got any thought on these over next few months?
Patients is a Vertue.as the saying goes. These are on my watch list but have to have patients for i can not get in till end of month.I like them. 8 gold mines being made into one big underground gold mine.I am not doing any more day trading like I was doing in the past.I am building a new Portfolio of gold, silver miners at the mo. got rid of all my old share at a loss of course.
im in at 29.50 on a best buy but i dont know whether to sell. Bought in a rush and regretting it.
Ive been in this for a while around the 25p mark and i believe as a long term investment will yield at least 30% in the next year got to be better than 1% from the bank, will really be higher than this next year GL
anyone got any other honest views on this company?
DYOR and good luck to you all.
This company is actually producer of gold so unlike some other gold mining shares they can take advantge of the current high prices. Yes the production figures for last year were only about 20% of estimated but of the 5161 ounces mined 3130 were produced in the last quarter (RNS 1491m). If they are now getting up to speed with production and with gold futures set to rise these shares could turn out to be a...............
Just posted this on VGM chat board but maybe should have put it here. To me CGM looks a better bet than VGM. VGM has 20 times the number of shares in circulation so when demand for the shares rises, we're not going to see the same sharp rise in price. But I agree that VGM is in a better place in terms of production. It strikes me that one of the reasons that SOLG rose dramatically was the limited number of shares in circulation against the backdrop of huge and sudden demands from investors.
mainly because ther a far better opportunities in gold at the moment and when you forecast delivery of 25000 o's of gold and then deliver 5000 other investors might become a little nervous so untill they achieve consistent production even if that is over 2 quarters then I certainly will not be putting huge amounts in. agree though one to watch
Just look at the information on this company and tell me why you should not buy this? if i were a fund manager i would buy a my whole portfolio in this share.
24. mate. get yourself in VGM if you can as they have released a rns. good news. I cannot see the price of gold dropping at all for a while because when we hit the "R" people want safety for there investment and gold is that safety net. No good in banks my as well stick it under your matress.. lol
yeah i see what you mean, vgm looks good at the mo but how volitile is the price of gold? is it likely to slump again? wat price u in these at?
I'm no expert but think this all has to do with the price of gold. imo vgm is still a good buy, i'm hoping for 2p on that one. i think price of gold is fueling these rises so if it keeps going we should see some good profit here. although re Upside comment??
no i havnt looked at them, they doing alright? see they are up few % today. is that because of the price of gold again? or is there news awaiting of some sort?
This share was over 100p when the gold price was half what it is now fear is suppressing all share prices so if the dust ever does settle this one should emerge.
Yeah my thoughts as well. If people could hold there nerve a bit better we would all do a lot better..! but if shorting is there game faie play.! i'm in for longer gains. think a few jumped ship a little early on this one. Are you in vgm
