As the company is supposedly doing so well, I suppose a dividend payment for us suffering long term investors is out of the question?

Yes Peabody wasn't it? but basically low grade black stuff I think. I have been invested in atc for over 5 years, building my portfolio up to 2 years ago on the back of the serious equipment investment news and future value of anthracite. High quality coal is still needed and atc have the best. Someone is going to make big money from this, could not really see the point of delisting "for best shareholder value" so hanging in for something to turn up. Let's make sure that this board continues to be updated if people learn things.
Quiet on here for days, everybody given up? For me personally I would like to see some return for my 50k investment - yes I kid you not, 50k!!!!!!!!!!!
Registered mine yesterday with H-L, no on both counts for my 10m shares so add them in LZ
You clarified what I suspected but it's nice to have it confirmed. Just a thought, how many shares do we all hold and can we make that much difference on the vote? My 10m isn't that much compared to the Board holding but together what sort of influence do we have? I seem to remember we went through this holding investigation excerise before but is it worth repeating?
Like many I feel well and truly shafted. Been in for many years - remember the rail head and diggers?; each promising greater rewards for the future. So we all stood by them and even reinvested. I am in to the tune of 10m at .33 average. Not a ball breaker but will hurt significantly financially if shares become worthless. How could leading business people have the conscience to do this to small investors, it beggars belief. On a different note, can someone enlighten me and like minded investors on how we stand if delisted? We will still have shares which will admittedly be hard to sell but they will still exist. Is it just down to unlikely dividend payments and what happens if they relist elsewhere, the shares would still be valid wouldn't they? I cannot believe that they would be able to finance without some sort of listing. Naive questions maybe but I suspect that others may be thinking the same things
Don't get me wrong, I have a significant holding with VIY and have held for a long time now so am very much keeping the faith. There is definite value in their unique technology, we just need a major contract breakthrough. All I am saying is that nobody could forsee what is happening with MTA - we are either right royally shafted or we will start trading again to the satisfaction of everyone. It's the not knowing that is the problem and the longer this goes on with VIY the more suspicious the likes of me get.
...was also in suspension and look at what happened there. Be warned!
Am also in MTA and look what happened there after suspension! Been there, got the t shirt so it can't happen to me again..................can it?
Thanks for the post re iball - haven't seen it before but certainly backs up my positive feelings and research for this company. What a prat and waste of space tbg1 is. Day after day of idiotic posts which can't be backed up. You think each day he might give up but back he comes like an unwelcome boil on the posterior. Patience is the key to this one, been in a long time and topped up of late as the rewards will come but certainly not one for a daily fast buck
.........looking more attractive now?. Anybody taken theirs up or thinking about it?
Makes good reading - due for a tick up tomorrow? Also RNS out for KYS, another one of mine, which is similarly upbeat
Few more posts for you Salty to which I can add as like most I have been watching very closely but not posting. Researched these over the weekend and decided to get in yesterday at 11p, so glad I did but must admit I am taken back by the increase. The attraction for me apart from the solidity of the company was the government commitment to green energy so I came in for a medium to long term punt, very pleasantly suprised with such an upturn
Seems silly not to really doesn't it. Have been waiting on and watching the sp but still seems steady. Reckon I'll be in for a wedge before Friday. Any thoughts anybody?
Doubt it as the offer is open to shareholders - sell yours and you will no longer be one. Does seem a good offer though and I am sorely tempted, expect the sp to drop in the next few days but should not go down to its 52 week low. No dramatic drops yet which I half expected but they could be just kept up by the mm's. Come April 3 (date of offer), there should be a massive jump in buys
fantastic way to end the week everyone, my portfolio is a sea of blue. Even BRR came good at the end but surely watch this space for CDN and PRL next week - difficult to buy shares now so something is due to break at last. Wish I didn't have VGM but don't suppose you can have everything going your way. Good weekend peeps and look forward to your commentary on Monday
.........and extension deadline up, trading or what on Thursday??????????????
You have more credibilty than GT in my mind so ignore his juvenile repost..............by the way if you think CDN is a steal (I am also in big time) then take a look at ATC, they have just as good potential and is an absolute bargain today. I want to get up to a million holding and not far off now
We are now into weeks after the working capital expired so what is going on? If the company is still viable who is paying the overheads at the moment, it's so long since any official announcement that they have either gone to the wall or a secret financier is involved somehow. I still say that on paper you could never have picked up there was a problem here - in fact I thought these were one of the stronger mining companies in my portfolio - just shows you can never take things for granted and even DYOR does not work all the time. Never say die and still hope eh??????????
