Anyone heard from Linda on the timescale of the DFS. It's now all most 6 month since the last update from the Board.
This does go up... good know.
Shhhhh....
picking up a tad - someone knows something, like where the heck is Kyrgyzstan - God that's difficult to spell.
We all laughed at you when you said probably next year - meaning 2016, but you were right. Reckon you are right about everything being complete and that presumably means 'closed period' for Bod - not that they've bought for quite a while. Now please predict the month if not the exact date.
Surly the report is now finished - the economic viability of the project must be known. The inital start up costs and the cost to get each ounce out the ground must be known. An AIM listed company with its main asset in Krygyzstan is now waiting for Chinese regulatory approval before we can release a report that we have commissioned and paid for! One only hopes this means with Chinese regulatory sign off we can look forward to a significant investment. When news comes I only hope it's positive. Maybe tomorrow (probably not though)
Certainly has recovered a fair bit this year, now $1127 an oz. Of course this can only help our case. Tomorrow is ......the/another day ?
You there?
Indeed we seem to be ticking over, volume wise. I imagine Feb 8th with the Chinese New Year celebrations set to go on all week will not be our week. Dekel - finger out !
we edge a day closer to news... what type of news is anyone's guess.... Chinese new year 8th FEB - will news come before... a bit of volume today.
Well it's true it could end badly and I've always known that the Krygyz govt could pull the rug from under us at any time but it's not them now that we fear. Have we any reason to fear the Chinese though? We're employing them to complete our DFS that must have been in production now for 2 years almost?? They came up with some great ideas for the project and cost savings with the tunnel so why should we fear them. Can't get any more shares now but still feel we're on to a winner here. However, times change. Price of Gold is recovering recently but really the world is not backing any new resource projects still. Will we be different and get backing? That surely is the big question not the DFS. That must come soon - it beggars belief how we didn't know about all the regulatory (and previously the translating) difficulties that would stand in our way. But they will be overcome soon. Our biggie is funding. Presumably Labro will not let us go bust and throw away their £millions they've pumped in, nor will the Bod. Can't see this outfit going to the wall and if it doesn't we must be on to a winner whether it takes a day, a month or another 2-3 years. Awaking tomorrow early as usual and seeking that all important next RNS.
You're a brave man Pablo and hopefully fortune will favour you! I added more last week but have reigned in the temptation to add more as this could end badly.
Well it would be fantastic if one was a newbie and bought in at these prices. However, as you say 'buy when everyone else is fearful' - I've just got another 19,880 @ 4.98p. Must be going through on ISDX but my data is 30 mins delayed. I am now officially over-exposed and am going to be very wealthy or very poor very soon (as are both my daughters, but the wife doesn't want to know !)
Every time I peek at this the price seems to have dropped further... If only I had bought my entire holding at this price. If we are still here hoping, we should be loaded up with more at these prices. Buy when everyone else is fearful? Sure some news soooooooon. Please BOD - put us out of our misery.
How this is suddenly Up 2.7% eludes me. Just suddenly seemed to Up the Ask at the bell so the Mid is now higher than yesterday when in reality it's drifted a bit more today. Anyway, any time in the next 2 weeks or it's not-so-happy Chinese New Year.
approaching £10m now - I'd buy more BUT I am not certain of a positive outcome here --- its just going to keep on falling until the company can restore some confidence. I hold a lot of shares already that are now worth very little. IF anyone at the company reads these boards then YOU need to do something quickly - maybe the BoD knows that the Chinese lowest offer would be many multiples of the current SP however having watched the way they do business I feel we have been backed into a corner by NERIN and its parent China Nonferrous Metals. Chinese companies do NOT compete when acquiring assets they are awarded the right to bid by the state. Our DFS is being done by the Chinese and aimed specifically @ them.... our options are limited should China Nonferrous Metals not be interested. That said surely £10M is the bottom price for this asset.....
Well, I've just got a few more @ 4.69p. I like your Mgmt statement, OLI, that would be very reassuring. Don't think there's sufficient reason to Suspend trading though, Alligin. IMO the mm's have wanted to drum up trade and hardly anyone's buying much - therefore dropping the sp over these last months gets the ball rolling as far as they are concerned.
I don't share your confidence, Pablo, that a backroom deal is unlikely here, and I hope I will be proved wrong. Another option the board has had, and continues to have, is to go for a suspension of trading on Aim until the DFS result can be announced. This would prevent further carnage of the sp and enable the shares to re-open at a significantly higher level- you would hope. The fiddling whilst Rome burns approach is damaging the value of the company- our company- and I agree with Dibs perspective here. A belated response from the board would be better than no response.
if it keeps falling at this rate we will hit 0p by early March. surely the BoD could say "The DFS has been completed pending Chinese regulatory sign off ... upon receipt of this we will be in a position to publish the report and reach an agreement with a partner about a significant investment in the chaarat project" IF the above is NOT the case then we are in trouble... in 2013 we were told - "Negotiations with Shandong Gold - During March we announced that the discussions with Shandong Gold Mineral Resources Group (SGMR) had been delayed due to a change in the senior personnel at the holding company level of the SGMR group. In May we reported that the new management team had scheduled a site visit for later in the summer. We are pleased to report that following the site visit the new management team has reiterated SGMR’s interest in the Chaarat Project. A Hong Kong based investment bank has been appointed by SGMR to oversee the process of engaging with Chaarat. then NOTHING.... can this BoD deliver some value... I'm beginning to wonder...
Thanks for info again. Remember back when we had the last fund raise in Dec '14 it was @ 15p but raised cash at a good premium : "The Placing Price represents a premium of 27.7 per cent, to the closing price of 11.75p per share on 17 December 2014." This raised just over $5m and also issued about 22m warrants exercisable @ 15p. These warrants were issued as a bonus to investors (Fasanara and Bod) not as a joke. I haven't noticed Fasanara now Labro reducing at all, they still have over 25% and about 20m warrants @ 15p. Let's look at it this way - it's an intolerable bore but Nothing is amiss. Therefore we will continue and very probably get a great JV with some Chinese co. The Bod and Labro can't get some deal for themselves and just shaft all the other shareholders. If the company does massive dilution @ say 3p or a complete sell-out @ say 7p, who's going to suffer most - Labro and the Bod. Can't be long now - I'm betting before Chinese New Year on Feb 8th.
Lots of baling out today in unusual numbers for this share. It seems only the brave will be left here and let's hope the board respond to the now perilous position of the sp. It's a strength here that institutions and directors are heavily invested, but I guess, like others, I fear a backroom deal that benefits the few and that may scupper us. Surely the board will see the need for further damage limitation.
yes from Linda. I am sure you received the same. I am sure she will not mind me quoting here. "we are awaiting Chinese regulatory approval for the DFS. Once these are obtained we will update the market immediately" not sure if this means when we get approval the DFS is published? BUT what then... a sub 4p SP and NO position to negotiate ? worrying times.....how can we expect a multi million pound JV / investment when our market cap could be worth less than £10m.... we cannot raise funds as any dilution would eradicate PI's. Lets hope the BoD have a hat with a rabbit in it.
Like many other now (I guess), I fear this is dribbling down to nothing. Even with a relatively low average of 8.5p, I now worry this is not going to deliver a return. I have learnt over the last few weeks than no news is seldom good news.
Thanks for that info. Was it from Linda? The tone of the replies I've had has not been in the slightest ominous merely indicating bureaucratic delays. Have you been waiting 6 years? Think I'm only about 4-5 so far. Bit more volume than normal the last week - either pi's had enough or Blackrock still dumping a few when they can - or both. Chinese New Year - Monday 8th Feb and then the whole week is Golden Week Spring Festival - so think we can rule out that week for news.
Pablo - the company have replied to urge further "patience"...... What can I do but wait.... it has been nearly 6 years so I guess a few more weeks / months won't hurt. (not sure if Chinese New Year) will cause another delay.....
