No wonder Cowichan uses an avatar. - With a name like that, who wouldn't? - :) :) :)
But I do own a Ferrari :-).
Blimey, I've got 4 email addresses and all none required proof of identity to set up- plus how many people post about cars that are fantasy cars... heck people even get fooled by catfish... impossible to trace- I work in tech- simply impossible. My mail used to register on this site is not my primary email and you are bonkers if you think my name is Steve Jones.
Steve Jones 999,Not so when Emails have been sent directly.
And as for VPNs, are not as infallible as you seem to think if the agency deems it important enough.
For example you could be traced by past information you have posted, how many Ferrari dealers are their in the South ,and having expensive services done ,with approximate date..
But forget this weekend conversation and lets all look forward to good news.
Take care.
On a site with anonymous logins, and uses of VPN's, tracing posters is completely impossible and if anyone thinks someone will spend money chasing after a forum post, they are bonkers :-).
A contact provided the following information
Had there been a less clear decision by the SCC we would have had to issue a release during the weekend and also announce the same on Monday.
As it turned out the decision that Law 32 was constitutional was completely unambiguous, so there was no need to announce last weekend.
And of course supposition is not acceptable.
RazorsEdge, seems some dont uderstand Wit.
As for publishing anything on here or other discussion sites,if you publish derogatory or even worse salanderous statements against ,especially a Company or individual in that company you need to be able to prove that if taken to Law.
If not you could be up to your neck in Sh-t.
His parents must have loathed him to call their child Bloody Nora!!! ????
Guys before this goes any further
“Has Cowichan got the inside track?”
Was a little dry wit, nothing more.
I know Cowichan’s first and second names.
Bloody Nora.
Hi Razpor's,
From what a very well informed acquaintance has told me "Cowichans" real name is well known within Centamin circles , however that doesn't mean in any way that he is privy or has been privy or given ex given prior knowledge of any exclusive information, just that he and his enquires are regarded seriously.
I think some would be surprised just who takes Cowichan so seriously so he may well have achieved a considerable amount on other shareholders behalf in the past than he is given credit for.
It never does any harm to question everything, failure to do so makes the company think shareholders aren't that bothered!
As has already been said if anyone on here had privy knowledge of any market sensitive information they would have bailed out before the ****e hit the fan!
I personally don't think anyone on this board has the inside track, else they wouldn't be on this board, but rather be in the Maldives on all the massive profits made on the volatility of this share :-).
If the SP goes down then people may say Cowichan had the inside track, if the SP rises then people may say Cowichan didn't have the inside track... the SP can only only go up or down. I like to trade this share around economic markers and data-points, and what I believe will be in scheduled RNS updates.
Has Cowichan got the inside track?
Hope that doesnt mean another drop of 5 pence in the days to come :-)
It’s word for word the same as last Monday’s RNS regarding the ruling on law32 but dated 22/1/23 then it notes:
** THIS PRESS RELEASE HAS BEEN ISSUED OUTSIDE OF MARKET TRADING HOURS AND THEREFORE WILL BE RELEASED ON THE LONDON AND TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGES ON MONDAY 16 JANUARY **
…………..
*Strange, it seems that this release should have been released last Sunday.
Many thanks Cowichan for all your much appreciated contribution, I was always amazed me how you got your information and all the research and time to find it! You were one of the main contributors of this great board with a host of many others. I wish you the best in your next investment. very best wishes.
Im sorry to see you go Cowichan . Along with Mr T,Siko, Rebess ,Dasut and Sotolo, you are a name i easily recognised.
Im hoping that you miss out good style here! ( but that is me being selfish) and that you are quids in wherever you decide to invest instead.
Please continue to contribute and all the best for the future.
Hi Rebess,
I couldn't agree with you more, a great loss to the forum, so many directors of plc companies get away less than mediocre performance because so many retail investors fail to ask enough questions.
Having to spend vast amounts of money and four years to clear up over a decade of such intentionally bad, likely reckless mining practice should not be regarded as the claimed "Reset"
This 'Reset" announced by the directors is because they have run out of road, the sh*t really has hit the fan and they can no longer squirm out of a the dire situation of their making which has forced the exposure of just how badly Sukari was being run!
So far as anyone knows, was there an explanation given for the large (15%) fall-off in production between Q3 and Q4?
15% is a big number.
No more complaining from me so yes Alex will be very glad. But I'll still post fluff stuff

Sorry to hear that Cowichan's contribution to this thread is coming to an end. - His contribution has been of a different order to the majority who post here. - A great forensic-ferret - a great conveyor of important news and detail that otherwise we would not have had access to. - He made Centamin management accountable in his expose of unpalatable facts. - They will be glad to learn of his departure. - For the rest of us, he will be a great loss.
Trolley Assist I am amazed that this is still viable I visited a coal mine in South Africa to understand how this worked and basically you need to be able to access" very" cheap electricity.
Hi Cowichan,
Sorry to hear that you have decided to sell out, although that's possibly me being somewhat selfish on my part, you have to consider what you feel most comfortable with and I can sympathise with your frustration at so many broken promises and missed targets over the years!
It certainly seems that we LTH were tucked up by the previous Centamin management who ran Sukari on a wing and prayer principle and glossed over their failure to implement appropriate operational procedures with copious amounts of media 'bull(****!" for which we are now paying a heavy price!
But that said the majority of the mining companies and in my experience most plc companies screw their shareholders ,so I don't have any more faith in any of them either, in fact likely less than Centamin, hopefully we LTH have been subject to all the crap now and if we are to believe whet we are being told things will get better from now on!
So thank you for all your contributions to the Centamin debate, there is nothing wrong in asking questions, even the awkward ones and its preferable to burying ones head in the sand!
So good luck with your decision, would I recommend Centamin likely not, neither would I recommend any other shares now!
This seems a fitting quote on why we are where we are in our world today-
"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle.
We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth because the bamboozle has captured us and it’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken,
Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back!”

Keep well
