About time it's been played with for weeks :)
Continues
Looks like it.
4mill sell must have been a buy yesterday
Glad I didn't have the 'guts' to exit here the other day. I've got a relatively large holding (15,000 shares) here in comparison to my other investments, which are largely spread about, so I do get twitchy at times. Anyway - onward and upwards! GLA.
Big sell late on 4mill
620p reached to-day without the help of an RNS, now we're on the move
This share is extraordinary. Fingers crossed for an afternoon 'rally' - which seems to happen - then I'm out. GLA
Was that a 23 mill buy at 4-30 pm
I hope you're wrong too, but certainly wouldn't rule it out. We're back now at where I originally bought in January and any profit made this morning was entirely due to riding it all the way down to 535p, averaging down the position and catching the spike. Been a slog. Am hoping for a simpler more stable route to profit this time round, namely the genuine value of the business being recognised by the wider market. That may not happen until the full results are released in a flurry on 16th May though.
Well done if you managed to get out and back in. It's incredibly strange and to be honest I feel suspicious, so I'll probably be out of this soon. I'll sit it out for the weekend, in the hope that the news filters through to some serious buyers but if a FTSE250 share can't move steadily upwards on the back of the fundamentals you describe then there's something wrong here. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to find us back to 570/80 by mid next week. I hope I'm wrong but that's my instinct here.
If this were any other company, and we hadn't just had three separate brokerages affirm Buy ratings with high TPs, after an excellent Closed Period update, I'd be thinking this was a pump and dump. I've added to my position today at 604p after some profit taking this morning. Not sure whether that makes me inspired or foolish at the moment.
Btg defies all logic puzzling
I would hope so. If it falls back below 600p and finishes roughly flat, then something more sinister must be afoot. The buy ratings have continued to come in today, for those who wish to go long this surely is a no-brainer
Same thoughts here. This should at least be trading at 650p upwards. It peaked rapidly to 625p this morning but then just fell away. Perhaps a rally this afternoon?
why this share is so heavily sold. It's cash heavy, has more than .5bn revenues round the corner - YE results are likely to be very good, yet the price can't hold up. Was tempted to jump out earlier at 625 but thought the price would hold up around 620p.
On google. And we're off.
Agreed. Looks like an increase of 20% on last year's revenues. Looking forward to seeing how it transforms into profits. Broadly, the business seems to be ticking along nicely, as one might expect from an established FTSE250 company - no AIM-like surprises here. However, no mention of a dividend, unfortunately. But would this come in a pre-closed period update? I'm not sure.
Very positive update today with revenues expected to be on the high side of predictions. Good performance and importantly growth for TheraSphere and EKOS, Galil Medical contributing well and licensing revenue doing well. Only slight cloud is the fall in sales for PneumRx in Germany which is expected to rebound once new criteria for identifying patients are established, but everything else looks either on track or exceeding expectations. I'm happy with that.
Thanks for your thoughts Iland. Looking like an ordinary day on the chart so far to-day; if to-morrow is to be optimistic there ought to be more people buying. I also wonder why brokers offer up their views before an update, instead of after when it is a lot clearer then the direction the company is headed
Does feel like the SP is deliberately being suffocated/messed with at the moment.
It's unbelievable big buys late yesterday then sp is hammered down today
Yes, same observation here.
Wild daily swings on low volume and no reason. Touched 590p yesterday; usually recovers PM I have noted. Update tomorrow
Numis reiterates Buy with 900p TP this afternoon. Last chance to buy below 600p, IMVHO. I honestly believe 700p is achievable in near future on basis of reasonable results.
