Fatal charm, who got screwed in the merger?
CERP chaps got a golden parachute for their 'performance', and the BPC chaps got a life raft for their lifestyle continuance.
So 'everyone' is happy, right?
Tuckman what gets my attention is when others jump to the defence of others, especially in a condescending manner, when it has nothing to do with them.
I have had exchangel with Noviceinv in the past, take this individual with a pinch of salt.
What annoys me is there is no negativity in some individuals post, all positive, when we are being lied too and the company is suffering at the hands of a BOD that’s had in access of £150m.
I am heavily invested here and it bloody hurts, what others class as negative posts, when my posts are had hitting, all it is thats the way I see things unfolding.
This is not just a forum, it’s a family to me that has patiently waited years, hoping for a upturn in life with their investment.
I hope and pray the new BOD/company get the family the returns they deserve.
My issue is they have kept S.Potter on as a non exec for screwing up.
I would like to add that it doesn’t help when you get individuals continually posting positive news when it doesn’t apply to the current situation.
Hope you all, the family, have a nice day and ATB
Starchild, I think it is fine you putting a positive spin on this, countering the doom squad. What happened to this company is a construction of circumstances beyond their control. By merging with Cerp, they avoided almost certain closure as their only asset was, at the time, P1.
With regard to your referencing the urban slang of 'starfish', I think some would argue the LTHs are all starfish, having just laid there while the board screwed us out of all our money for a decade and counting.
SC,
Yeah, let's bring back Kootsie the Purple Prince, after all, he is the only who has made splodges of wonga on both CERP and BPC, clearly successful, so let's do it again, great idea!
Leaving an abusive partner is the hardest thing to do, but if you seek therapy and try, it is possible.
Really!!
Mick,
These are dangerous questions Sir!
Can you imagine how much must have been spent to generate such a pool?
Where? What? How?
Oops.
..but perhaps he is obliged to do the morning washing, as he and his cohorts try to shuffle reality off the board and welcome in the new punters. He doesn't want to necessarily, but he is contracted to do so.
We do not all have occupations we like! Be sympathetic.
Hi, I’ve done as you suggested but can’t find any reference to the tax credit. Maybe I’ve skipped over it. Any ideas about which doc/ presentation to refer to pls?
Thanks
Mick
No.

Absolutely Thebhoys. You are entitled to say what you feel , last I checked this is a free BB. I am not invested, lost lots of money and I can post what I like as we all have opinions. There are some serious tools on here who really are seriously bad investors , unlucky, complete liars , narcissistic, paid rampers or plenty of other names spring to mind. Board police they think they are, very sad in my book. Everyone can see, facts and history is all to be see. Liars can be seen as well
Thank god I was hedged....been in this for more than a decade and its been nothing but jzm tomorrow...well the duster sealed its demise..and now a new name..oh dear..avoid..invest in BP

You appear to possess very little knowledge of company history or operations but post in a way that suggests your knowledge exceeds many of the investors here who have years of digested company information & results stored in their memories to recall on.
May I suggest you read older company news releases for LGO/CERP for the information you seek and use any messages posted here to Google some things to enable you to do your own research rather than dismissing information that you are not aware of as false.
That response was to what Noviceinv posted
That’s my view everyone sees it their own way. So if you want to be condescending carry on. YouVe have opinions about other individuals, that’s mine, have a good day.
If we shareholders are being offered shares at a discount then we'd be better served if the SP was higher when the offer is made.
Novicein
You said you had filtered me already. No idea what you mean by Lag.
Where did the farmout Trinidad business come from?
Egg,
Just for clarity I'm not here to gloat, been in similar situations but that doesn't really matter.
Don't post much or at all on my investments but do read their bb's mainly to see if there's something new good or bad.
And if someone was to paint that company in a bad light then I would certainly take heed of any warnings, been daft enough to ignore that at my cost.
As for a ten bagger, not in my portfolio, I don't expect anyway but have had 3/4 baggers but have also lost 100% so good and really bad.
But I would gladly like you to post on any of my holdings as all info is good in my opinion.
I don't do any ramping as such and certainly not to the extent of sc or willec, which can be way off mark and mis leading and in some cases arrogant. Which probably is the reason that so many people respond negatively as they obviously want others to invest in bpc mainly to justify their investment but I my opinion that is wrong.
Some others like yourself andTiburn gave good opinions but I never thought that your intention was to get others to invest to save yourself.
Anyway I did have a conversation with Page about one company I like and that thread was deleted and according to lse it was because I mentioned the company by name which I find strange, the company was uog and if you do decide to post on that bb after you dyor research of course I look forward to see if you have any negative opinions because that will actually help me.
Svs
your right playground talk by me so I apologise to willec.

Hi all, I looked at the chat before I was logged in and unfortunately for my eyes, I saw Lag (aka Zag) postings. I normally have him filtered as his previous comments have been branded inaccurate and further more he continues to deramp. His latest post admits that he doesn’t even hold any shares. I have to repeat, why would anyone post if they don’t hold shares. Other than being a day trader and trying to knock the price down. Advice- filter him.
Mictrick- look at the companies presentations documents. It will back up star child’s comments around the tax in Trinidad.
I have..... all accurate.
Thegirls- you are a bit of a drama queen aren’t you. Starchilds post about the ipo was a tongue and cheek example of what the company has got. Just putting a different spin on things. All positive. Nothing negative about it. You unfortunately have spouted your comments to try and make it look like a negative. How silly of you. Keep up the the great dramas thebyoys I mean girls
I was a LTH till yesterday.Have been in since LGO Cerp and now BPC It has been the same format each time empty promises or should I say Vapour ware.Ramping Deramping and the ingrate trolls. The only thing that happens we get shafted and the powers at "B" get their salary which for what they do is not deserved. So if you want to lose your money invest here because I am out all the best to you LTHs and good luck.I just cannot take any more BS
If you do not hold BO. If you do hold and think so badly of the company why don't you sell all your shares today. So tomorrow the Bulletin Board will be rid off you for good. If you do hold you obviously think this will come good in the end.
Good Morning Chesh..
Looking forward to.hearing how Harry Potter's plans for 2,500 bopd per day by the end of the year are progressing. you new CEO could speak to Paul Giffiths, PRD CEO and hire some of our CCS EOR technology and expertise. It's the law now on T &T but to use EOR and water is so last year.....
Ps. Hope someone on your new team actually know how to maintain an oil well, the old crowd never ended up with any 'hands on' experience despite twenty years trying..
Pps. PRD is a good place for the disgruntled to take your share money before it becomes as much as a billion Duechsmark banknote in the Weimar Republic circa 1929.
Toodle pip for now ():;¿
Hi Starchild,
Could I ask, how do you derive your figure for the $85m Trinidad tax credit?
Thanks,
Mick
Every day this BB is full of opinions on both sides.
If one chooses to ignore or filter the realistic or negative posts to only read the positive ones which promises great results, again the fault lies with oneself for choosing biased research.
