also its worth noting that every reasonable trade today has been an A trade hitting that BID to make it crack. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that somebody wants the price down and not up, its quite logical to get out of a stock when its high and to get in when its low........ Calgary has vanished for now it seems, I wonder why he stopped at 7%- perhaps just a pause but all a bit strange.
an iceberg can be on the bid or the ask but will eventually vanish once the buyer or seller has had their fill. I never said the MM have no shares but did say I hope it pings back to 4 or 5p. And it may well do, I used to be able to predict the future but gave it up as it was boring........... The price is decreasing because there are no buyers, no buyers at all/ so one way traffic until it reaches its natural stop.
So the iceberg order will lose money now it's filled? I thought the MM's will have no shares and need to up the bid to get stock? Isn't that why you said it will ping to 4-5p?
Page- it is pinging, downwards........ Makes no difference to me as I don't want to sell/ just not enjoyable to watch.
So where's the ping in sp?
there goes the iceberg, melted away with all the selling. Hope it gets refilled.
The bid was being fed at the close. Went up with the last 50k at 3.01p. How much more before holding RNS.
Read this and you wonder what it means for BOR.

I think the Board should do a webinar presentation and create some interest. They never have done. They need to communicate more.
I am up for any positive action, because its bloody boring right now.............
I get it, thanks. I'm wondering if someone is building a position to take this out on the cheap via Calgary.
Buyers are waiting for the price to drop, but will it? I think the action is too obvious, buyers waiting for the price to drop and some are worried about the price dropping and selling. Keep it low and steady, keeps the buyers away and the bidder fed a little.
Thanks. It would be nice to see some buys.

Yeah thought so. There is no buying to create competition with the bidder. If they keep feeding the bid then hopefully the order is nearly filled and if it's Mr Calgary we get an RNS. He can't be far away. He's picked up a few over the last weeks. 6m is 1%, so must be near that figure. What's L2 like? Not much on the Ask?
its an iceberg, gets filled all the time to whenever really. Lets hope it carries on getting filled or its back to the 2's
How much is left?
Iceberg on the bid, bidder happy to take all on offer. Fancy ping a ding time soon once they are done........ 4-5p
I take it no one went to the AGM.
Someone's taken a 7% interest in Rockhopper this morning.
Phil, yes it's a deterrent. Navitas ignored Argentina and have been banned from working there for 20 years for farming into Sea Lion. I guess they thought the Falklands is more attractive financially and resource wise. The majors will weigh up the potential of the Falklands and the fiscal regime compared to Argentina and their banning offshore exploration aswell as seizing assets back to the state. Is Argentina worth their hassel, when there is billions of untapped barrels on BOR's acreage and a sensible government with low corporation tax and royalties, particularly when you look at the low entry cost for an already world class discovery and the need for LNG.
People need to remember many of the majors and super majors have significant operations in Argentina, that is a big reason why those companies havent, up till now, looked at Borders.
BOR only 3 D on 25% of acreage and already see potential of 6 BBL with local Darwin up to 1 BBL of satellites within a few kilometres
How can the big boys be so thick ? Low carbon footprint condensate and gas
The southern basin is full of high energy HC and sooner or later somebody got to make a move
I reckon Mr Calgary mopped up over 500k today. 8% on it's way.
