Gone from 34,350,000 shares (4.7%) to 52,766,500 shares (7.22%)
I strongly suspect now that our old CEO has gone, all the technical stuff, long lead requirements and floater choice are ALL in place- just need the finance. Could BOR be the revelation and shock of the year and go it alone?
Well I am very curious to see what tomorrow and next week brings Gus.
I've said all along BOR could be self funding this thing because the Capex is pretty low to get things started and the return is off the scale unbelievable, these things are not ignored by the people that can make this happen and the wheels seem to be turning finally.
AB was buying in the 5's, I saw it myself when the A trades ripped through triggering the RNS. I can see Damille exiting which would explain for some of the stock, they are offshore too and they bought in cheap and have made this £ so my money is on them. They are stab and grabbers- not long termers, it's interesting how the big guys are buying in their own names hiding the true sources. Something definitely going on here and its got to be for the good because we are only 2p!
Smell in a good way I hope Gus, unless ADB has sold some to tjis new guy, which I just cannot see, the sp surely has to move soon.
Well it's pretty strange as to where all this stock has been coming from, day to day activity here resembles a morgue and the only holding RNS'S of late has ben acquisitions and no dumping. The stock must be coming from somewhere, so expect a dumping RNS soon otherwise things just do not add up.... Also 2 individuals holding nearly 20% of the stock here, its starting to smell a bit to me....... Others in the know for definite.
I think it’s the guy in Singapore as VC investor and born in the UK
Put ca 1,5 million of cash into BOR so something must be going down but as always they take longer than we want .
......I guess maybe not...lol.
Well who is he, the Hugh Mason I found is an engineer from Alberta, qualified Association of Professional Engineers, Geoscientists of Alberta, is this him?
**Well things just got even more interesting.**
Either , Farming partner , or, taken over....IMHO-DYOR
Well Phil at least we know who spent the £83k at 3p, but where did all the rest of the stock come from? Certainly not the open market otherwise we would be 10p and not 2!!! Interesting to see who has reduced or got out, like AB- he has declared his holding in his own name. Singapore based hub with a lot of capital available, off shore etc- another piece of the jigsaw puzzle?
Is this the guy?
Well things just got even more interesting.
Any thoughts on todays RNS guys ?
7,7 % holding
Singapore connection??
Yes Gus, I have been wondering myself about that one.
Lets not forget that £83,000 buy a couple weeks ago at 3p
Same here Phil, I have no interest in an RNS off our new CEO to say hello ETC. get to work and deliver the goods, that’s more my thinking and hopefully this is the case.
LTT - Rest assured, shareholders and the market will be the last to know what's going on. You say if anything was happening then people would be buying 3.5 - 4.5, even 5p a share...well, that's exactly what's been happening. Alan Brimacome has bought 75 million shares at those prices and is still continuing to buy and is not stopping at 10%.. It kind of answers your question I hope.
There is one option I hadnt considered though, I believe going over 10% gives ADB a block on any takeover going unconditional, so maybe because of the CEO change he increased his position as insurance.
I may be on my own in this but I honestly wasnt expecting an RNS from the new CEO before the next scheduled update, which could be this week or any time up to the end of next month, I too however would have been a whole lot more nervous had it not been for ADB increasing to over 10% at exactly the same time, I still feel that is no coincidence and I am certain he knows more about our new CEO than I do.
Hi Ant, nobody to notice last time but I will say ti again. The RNS from Borders advised that Baker IS a director of Alana Capital and Baker Melling. However Alana Capital is dissolved and Baker has never been a director of that company, Baker Milling isn't active either. It's pretty poor that they couldn't even get this right and why the false info? What's the point?
Love your optimism Pages, but if there really was something in the wind about the deal you mention, wouldn't people be buying? Wouldn't they be filling their boots in the knowledge that this would be double, treble or more on an announcement? I would, I wouldn't be fishing around I'd be buying as many as I could up to 3.5 or 4.5, even 5p per share as any such deal where Borders partners Navitas and RKH and gets a slice of Sea Lion would be well worth it!
I think it's currently and chicken and egg situation, they haven't been able to get money for Darwin development so how can they get money to partner Navitas and RKH. Once Navitas hits the FID button and/or says where funding is coming from, then Darwin becomes more valuable, but no before.
Darwin is still a stranded asset until there are boots on the ground, just look at RKH, languishing around 13p per share with OM award sold although awaiting FIG approval, with a possible 80M euros to be banked by year end which is around RKH current market cap. So RKH 35% of Sea Lion and Navitas deal is valued at NOTHING. Sam Moody couldn't raise cash now even with a partner who is planning ahead and asking for tenders for accommodation in the Falklands and a site for equipment storage and mud for drilling. They want this ready for the 2nd and 3rd Q 2025. Even so with all the news about what they are doing, Navitas have said nothing much about a partner/funding/FIG apart from "FID is planned for end of 2024". So how could Darwin raise some cash?
Don't get me wrong I would love you to be right and things plough forward, but I just cannot see it at the moment.
Regards LTT a hopeful shareholder.
Well said Gus, wtf is going on !!!
No updates or welcome from our new CEO, it’s not a good sign and so far nothing has changed. I’d have made communication with investors one of my main priorities
If it wasn’t for our discovery and the Calgary guys I’d have no confidence at all.
Brimacombe buying at this price when he's up you'd think. About 1:30pm.
