And who knows what's coming over the horizon politically
Thanks JC , that was what read playing catch up when I got back late Monday, does open up the possibilities, like Barossa ENi Evan's Shoal is just East of us in Australian Timor Sea waters, they have that big MOU with Santos for the development of more Timor Sea assets and the pair cherry picked , Area R Santos wider bayu area license and Area P ENI, long thought to host the hydrocarbon kitchen , that feeds Sunrise and Chuditch.
Would that not be a eye opener, if ENI having their rethink, expand their jv with santos to a second carbon capture facility in TL waters, so why not Chuditch, the pair have nothing else developed nearby, save co locating near the Barossa new hub and pipeline.
Don’t really want to be invested in a multi bagger outside of an ISA or Sipp
Yeah, a lot of people waiting for new tax year IMO
Entering a very significant news window now. Site Survey, Rig Contract & Farmout/s could all land very quickly. Big quarter coming up. New tax year as well so should see volumes pick up
I posted an article a couple of days ago that highlighted that Bayu Undan is basically already full in terms of cO2 storage. AB said at the AGM last year that the geology at Chuditch lends itself to CO2 reinjection, which might be extremely useful to other regional players with lots of cO2 to dispose of 😉
Said long before he was finally invited to the Boil boardroom, AB and his team, always the secret weapon and key to real progress, he's hit the ground running (as expected) contacts galore, when brought Sundagas to the Singapore exchange , brought it with a $22m Singapore bank loan (never touched/cancelled, boil snail pace funded in 3 steps to take 100%)
Have great confidence , unlike bedroom presenter Yeo ho ho, our long time Asia based and highly connected new leader, will leverage those credentials and quickly get us a good local drill funding deal, or new Senior Partner to carry the load. 👍
Filthy
when I got back the other day, was it Ian or JC? posted ENI rethinking putting Evans Shoal with Barossa into the new input pipeline to their Darwin fac's as the output to Bayu would not have the capacity for it also, would already max out with them needing and extra think it was 2.5 mtpa.
Which could be a boost to us, talked about a possible carbon storage on the Chuditch license, who knows , wtfdik , perhaps that also part of the new Asian TL based Sundagas company plan. 🤔
Lots of potential catalysts, from our side
Non Equity funding for the Drill secured
New JV long term developer (25-30 wells) partner moves in
Either way ,Drill fully funded (perhaps change to the two talked about) drill slot secured.
TL side
Southern project - Beaco Multi string Gas/LNG Export facilities will be built
Northern project - Metinaro P.I.T. with single string Gas/LNG Import fac's will be built (ideal for our FPSO Plan)
Wildcards, on above progress, sector players move back in and license/asset grab
China BRI and state companies open the purse stings - Enter the Dragon and CNOOC
Woodside/Japan MOU (Inpex others on call)
Santos/ENI/SK Korea JV
Shell, Conoco Phillips Mobil (Exxon) and others that departed, decide its time to return, knowing the riches in play, they know more, they originally developed monster Kelp, Sunrise and Chuditch 😉
I am very impressed with Dr Andy Butler. With him in charge, let's make some serious money guys and gals..!! Chuditch here we come. GLA.
Don’t forget the importance of CCS in this new Saudi. Right on Chuditch’s doorstep.
Santos
Bayu-Undan has had a 20-year history of providing natural gas for customers across Asia, while supporting local jobs and injecting over $US25 billion into the Timor-Leste economy. Now there are plans for it to play a critical decarbonisation role by transitioning into a carbon capture and storage site - creating a potential new industry with ongoing employment opportunities.
This includes building on existing initiatives where in the past five years through Santos’ aim to deliver local jobs and training, the number of Timor-Leste nationals transitioning from semi-skilled roles to skilled positions has risen from 66 to 92.

My own research led me to believe that Dunrobin-Golspie was heavy oil, probably not recoverable. I'm delighted that it has been relinquished and all the focus can now be on an asset that could be enormously enhancing to the company. The whole area around the Timor Sea could soon become the new Saudi for gas production, with a hungry market right on its doorstep.
This is a very positive move by Boil, get rid of a dead weight project seemingly going nowhere and focus all resources on Chudditch. This is where the big money is and demonstrates the strong focus now on Chudditch. Seems Andy Butler is getting things rolling quickly now. Very surprised the sp is still at these lows but i think it will start a strong move back up imminently now. Positive action is being taken by Boil now so the sp can only go up imo.
They did said the focus was now on Gas and Asia, a couple of days later, that's all we have left, let the AB Asian Empire begin, drill Chuditch , then sell for some true value, funding whatever new Asian assets he has his eye on. AB and Colin have contacts galore in the region, guess 2025 is the big transformation and probably another more fitting name change, we had GOO then BOIL.
Entries now open for nominations, lets start the ball rolling with , sell Chuditch on success and AB retains HIS company name already known through various org's in the region, investor in assets company, becomes Asia Gas company
SUNDAGAS
or then being flush with cash perhaps FUNDAGAS 😉😂
I agree. This could be the last week we ever see the 0.05s as we move into 0.06++
Theres no reason this should not be trading at a similar mcap to upl, prd, matd in that 40-50m range now. I think we are at the foothills of that move now.
The management are making all the right moves here preserving cash, as Andy said in the interview with the energy transition there will be a need for gas, especially in Asia China and Japan, where the tax is more favourable unlike like in the North Sea where the govermnment is literally grabbing most of the profits from companies operating there .
Buys coming in now
A minor drop will be back up in no time.
Pipeline of positive news being released now…
Very sensible move and Upland Resources have done the same.
Very impressed that have made a common sense decision on this and focus on the guaranteed rather than the hopeful.
