Well I’ve followed ziq and a few others by averaging down
The drop has been on such small overall volumes it does feel like a forced seller having to take anything they can, so the bounce should be positive
Well... we have the, major Diamond event happening right now in Botswana and BOD are very much at the centre. I'm sue some exciting conversations are occurring... and with a Trading Update on Thursday, the day after the event, I'm hopeful of some good news.
https://facets2023.com/about/
Explorer to producer. Generating revenue and onto a blow in one of the most diamond rich locations on the planet renowned for its quality of stones including coloured.
Yet the SP is half what it was back in June.
Fantastic opportunity here. DYOR.
Yes, James indicated the 1,600 was older data, so we'd hope for higher, but also to be noted the work on the new blow will have lowered take over last few weeks, but of course will hopefully see a bumper amount in that blow!
Very hard to estimate as we dont know the breakdown of size, quality, colour etc. you have also got to remember that we only get a15% share of the revenue (more for special stones) the 1600 carats figure is also believed to be quite old now but the update on Thursday should give us more recent detail
So if we've recovered over 1600 carats from Marsfontein, whats the likely value recovered there? circa 3m USD?
One day perhaps jk… ;)
100 carat stone found at MARS and special dividend ;)
This will be published next Thursday. What can we expect?
Clockman
I think your questions and concerns can only be addressed and answered by one person - James Campbell.
I’d suggest you get in touch - he’s very accommodating and responsive.
You can email the company or I talk to James through LinkedIn
I remain unhappy about the lack of a comprehensive update of any update concerning the new blow. The suggestion that its a security issue will presumably provide cover for keeping us in the dark once the Thorny River project finally gets underway and producing. If Mars is delivering surely we can now afford proper security?
Little buy from myself ;-)
Yes..the spread..
I try not to look at that!
However once the 'business' settles into full operation trading will kick in and spread will drop until then 🤦!
And yes a nice mega shiny one will do nicely.
I mean, look at the spread alone.... 18.2% spread.
thats being kept high to stop people selling....
but i dont want to sell.. i want to buy, but i want to buy a lot lower.
Nooooooooo...im only hoping that if it continues to drop...i will eventually do a massive top up...if it gets towards 3....
but what i really want, is good news, news of biblical proportions. news of epic proportions. i want us to have found the largest diamond ever found, by x 5 magnitude.
but, i live in hope.
Ziquarat...are you sure about that settling price?
Ive got another few thousand stuffed under the sofa...but i want this to settle out around 0.003p to drop my average.
then i will buy in. current average 0.0088
Just reading through the old RNS list (as others have said) looks like a great time to buy/top up.
It seems plenty of news to come out here once 'fundamentals' allow.
Looks like we have hit the lowest price since 2020 now, with all sorts of irons in the fire as in the words of yazz surely it must be ...the only way is up!
I topped up 64k .
Fully agree with everything said here.
A bit of a 'sleeper' I reckon.
The lack of free float is definitely a key factor here.
Not only use LTH. But a high percentage of the shares are in very sticky fingers of friends and family. Only a few in free float.
I think JPW Makes some excellent points.
And at the risk of sounding preachy, it’s important to remember why you invested here originally and water the potential returns in the long term could be.
Unless you are very good trader or very risk adverse committing your money here, is committing it in a long-term fashion.
This company is led by an excellent CEO. It has no debt and it has active projects which are producing diamonds.
I wish the share price was higher, but in the long term scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter. Stay frosty all.
Something to think on... the more we (that have delved deeper into BOD) buy, hold, because we see medium to long term success, then... the less float there is. This means that naturally the price should stabilise/rise. We all know that if a company came now and offered 1p for our shares, that the vast majority 90% I assume or more would laugh away such an offer. As we know that this is a share with no debt, moving from explorer (which it is great at) to JV miner (too keep costs down), that if it proceeds well, which it seems to be at MARs, then Thorny River, we will not see a need for BOD to dilute shares / ask for more funds. Then... longer term, we could have 'dividends'...
Against my own judgment iv just bought another £1k worth
