Looks like you're not the only one hoping for £5...RNS feed today shows two have bought at these prices....
City has come out of the hole.
Results are good as expected.
5p Divi was a positive surprise!
Directors must be looking at £5 as a minimum target.
speed bonny boat? Tomorrow will be interesting, either way.
Maybe the market is waking up?
This stock is one that is less interesting so the emotional reasons to buy are not there. That means buyers are in for real - contrast to bitcoin which is bought today and dumped tomorrow. Baltic dry index at a 5 year high, BMS focused on shipbroking seems like a great move.
This share is a top pick. Comes up high on many of my valuation metrics such as least emotional, future prospects and future dividend, low debt profile.
prelim results 3 June...disposed of Aqualis
Fully agreed
It's a backward perv city.
Muppets.
However, I think they will come back out of their hole to buy once they get over themselves.
so they should pay a divi no payment for a year . this share traded at £6 a while back, shareholders have suffered enough.
Good financials, lowering debt, clear growth strategy, and the city knocks it, probably because it wanted a dividend pay out instead of seeing by holding cash Braemar can build the company. So shortsighted of the City once again. I for one will be holding.
Did anyone check the presentation?
I think it's a rare gem. They are actually saying on the first slides that the share price is not good enough.
I'll quote here:
"The need for change
– underperforming share price"
They are aiming to improve share holders returns with a very good strategy. All public companies should say that what matters is shareholders and the share price. Lot of them don't care. But braemar has got a kick in the azz. I like the presentation and that aim to fix the sp back to £5. A good long hold I recon.
I am surprised it has dropped back this much but it has allowed me to add a few more.
The drop is overdone and I think it will be rising again soon.
This is a company that clearly has growth in mind . Excellent profits and got the right idea re debt to keep it in proportion. Good corporate plan which is already delivering and is clearly going to deliver more. I am holding !!!! Unusually for me an absolute no brainer !
Heading North . . . full steam ahead!
Well that is a solid update!
No Divi in order to invest in growth.
Remember there is the presentation later in the day so some institutions may not buy in until the afternoon earliest, or more likely tomorrow, later in the week and next week. Hopefully we don't see "sell the news", but after that update I don't see why any sells wouldn't get swallowed up by multiples of buys. Let see!
This share has done so well in the last six months, I just really hope the results tomorrow live up to market expectations. The rise has been so steady and so good that their must be good reason for it. Tomorrow we will know
Cast off forward, cast off aft. Steady as she goes . . . aye, aye Captain.
Yep it's been good going.
Volume was pretty high today.
Something is going on 440k shares traded Vs recent 75k.
Anticipating good results perhaps?
divi might be reinstated
wow we are motoring now
Wind in our sails now. Looking better than I could ever have imagined.
Been a great share for me since investing last summer. Fingers crossed the results are good
First Post, very new to this game. Nice and quiet here with this share. No worries, gently drifting upstream, love it.
Safe place at the moment. Market downturn don't seem to affect here. It's a bonus
Goes from strength to strength, trading statement not too far off, March 9
I bought some today at 190p.
I think it's pretty disconnected from reality.
Baltic dry index hit record low 5 years ago to date. The sp was around 420-430p. Now the index is 1300, 4.5x the low.
Yet the sp is lower now. Furthermore, the last RNS states the company doing well and paying dect down. This means the financial health of the company is good. The share price discrepancy is too obvious!
I'm thinking of buying in seeing this still langushing below £2. Should be £3 now. I think market will re-rate this later this year. It's easy 50% in my opinion.
