There will always be investors who decide to sell up, or drawdown on part of their investment. everybody has an endgame. I've been here for six years, and I know some others have been here longer. There will always be new investors that come along to replace all the investors
Uksteveg,
I think that there is evidence to suggest that the last few weeks have caused a range of investors to cut back their holdings. There have been several occasions where large numbers were dropped at the lows which could have been an investor giving up (or, indeed, a stop loss). Most traders that I have come across tend to deal in much smaller volumes to avoid liquidity issues.
The term PI is being used with a very broad brush. We have investors who buy shares with the specific purpose of.seeing their investment grow over a period of time , the timelines could be months or years. We then have traders who are short term gamblers , sometimes 'buying' their shares through tools like cfd's, T trades , etc., Over a very short period of time ( sometimes hours ) .
It's the latter who tend to get panicky and set unrealistic expectations. We need to distinguish between the two types rather than bundle than all as PI's.
The other aspect to this is that the patterns we see here can be extrapolated across the entire AIM platform
Looking at the trades I believe that there are indeed some PIs selling at this level although I can also see the usual pattern of 30k/50k trades at key moments so there is undoubtedly the usual activity at play as well. Quite often the reason why a PI will sell in these circumstances is not because they are disappointed with the news but rather that they are disappointed with the share price response. The actions of the past few weeks to slip in well timed sells are designed to undermine and nudge sentiment, usually from the opening bell. On an up day they can just wait until there is a local top before starting the activities again, as we saw yesterday.
No worries Alfa. It's important people are clear.
I thought I did well getting 29.9 first thing, but there was a part of me thinking uh oh as a I hit buy. It does go to show the power of the big forces in this game.
Not worried as in for long term gains, great RNS, value will out in the end..
Gla
The question everyone needs to ask themselves do they seriously imagine droves of PIs are selling after those results?
Pdub.
My negative comment has nothing to do with the BOD- I'm thrilled with BMN progress (you know as I post fairly regularly)
I am just sick of the manipulation, the minute to minute price makes no difference to me as I have no plans to sell... but I don't want the current dog shyyte putting new investors off. Seems endless.
Fair enough sanchez, no offence meant. The offences are being undertaken by others.
There are predictable patterns on a near daily basis
Alfa, I was referring to the legwork done and info provided is much further advanced. Surely that came across. Obviously the FCA don't update you on progress.
Sanchez - slight correction there - we cannot say how far the FCA investigation has got because it is being conducted by them, what we can say is that our investigations team is on the case
AdamP, the FCA investigation is much further advanced than is realised by some.
oh yessss adam we all have
Alfa
I am sure you have seen these blocks of sells go through many many times which forms patterns
Most investors here know there's criminal activities going on , we're probably not only one being played until regulators start taking it seriously it will continue. The crooks win. Brilliant progress again with Bushveld
I'd seen that Alfa. I opted for a membership just to see the games and that was literally the first thing that was so bloody obvious. Amazing to see live...
Adamp100
indeed the 40,000 trade at 28.0p before the market opening, which was then reversed and restated at 29.0p only minutes after it opened is a case in point.
This will be added to the FCA charge sheet which is currently being worked upon
An investigation needs to be launched into the trading patterns.
The bigger picture is pound signs written all over this.
Such a no brainer, hold on to your shares for dear life.
With these figures, with this success, with this future, this SP has to rocket .
If we are to have fun and games, it makes AIM’s investments pointless.
The sooner BMN move off AIM and go to SETS trading the better
Totally agree pdub. Derampers out in force today... look at them clutching at straws...
I can't believe BMN shareholders making negative comments this morning. Please think before you post.
Stop focussing on the minute by minute share price and concentrate on how the BoD are building an amazing business that has the potential to bring great returns to those with the foresight and patience to hold.
