Good luck with a 'wait and see' approach...will be interesting to know if you end up with success. After all, when is then the right time...perhaps when the 'big story' comes out, and we get a 50% spike? (Or whatever).
What will you do then - perthaps the old 'get in on the pullback'?
And how big a pullback, if any?
Too big and the news was a flash in the pan...too small and it's not enough to satisfy your need to get a good price....
I think if you do not invest using your reasoning of the fundamental valuation you may miss out.
Yes, ok.
I'm getting so used to writing 'VRFB' by now...what I meant was 'RFB'.
There are a number of other chemistries involved with those, but one is expecting Vanadium to be key into the future.....
I notice that no-one is providing a value-argument against Bushveld...which I see as a +ve.
I mean...no-one even addresses the obvious (e.g. will Vanadium be the element of choice in future VRFBs).
************************************
If you go and call them vanadium redox flow batteries you bloody expect vanadium to be in there somewhere!
Toadey:- Been watching this company for a while, to invest serious money.
BUT
Back in February you were already an investor. Slight smell to your post, I'm afraid!
I notice that no-one is providing a value-argument against Bushveld...which I see as a +ve.
I mean...no-one even addresses the obvious (e.g. will Vanadium be the element of choice in future VRFBs).
Instead, it's all about 'the big seller'/mm manipulation, and 'strikes' (see how that latter has by now been amplified by some commentators even though they know no more than anyone else about it......), and other noise not really connected ro the future of the company.
This remains a bargain...even at 5p below 20p, or 13.5p above 1.5p....or whatever your mark of preference.
Sentiment can change, but intrinsic value...that would be less easy to diminish.
Bushveld is not the only company currently under-valued, and other companies even in less risky sectors have recently moved price far more strongly, through sentiment as a result of issues surrounding Covid, say.
Agreed it’s around pp comms where wtf is the big news on the tender, nowt and again a drift from 24 to here. Shocking
dont doubt it muppet but FM does not make life easy. I wonder how he feels when he sits in vanitec meetings when across the room is largo, valued 4 fold on us with no commensurate increase in production and a company late to the party on vrfbs. Does not look very good and however good he is as a strategic thinker, his ability to halt the SP decline is proving an unfortunate mark on his reputation
Al, it will be the one investors least expect but be sure it will rise.
they probably wont even tell us the strike has finished and instead stick it as footnote in the Q2 report sometime in August
classic bushveld, dont tell us about the maintenance work at vametco being completed on time and all the other good news but happy to RNS a strike. The comms is at an all time low with this company. the disconnect between fair value is absolutely astonishing - what will be the RNS that moves us up....
As you said earlier wyndrum, buyers want lower entry so try to drive the price down, sellers want out at higher price so ramp it up. Hopefully all resolved quickly .....................and can be included as a footnote in the Q1 report ;-)
Well, don't invest then Toadey.
If you have done your research and there are better producers of Vanadium as well as the other strings to BMN's bow then by all means put your money there. (Let me know who it is if you would, as I will join you)
All the reasons you suggest at the end of your post may also be the markets reaction and is therefore reflected in the SP. In which case it is probably near the bottom (personally according to a bit of TA it has got a floor at around 14.5p,) so you could hang on and maybe get a few % shaved off your entry price should you take the plunge or the strike might get called off tomorrow and it jumps 5-10%.
Tricky game really ......
That's pretty cynical!
I mentioned topping-up because one or two people were looking for a bit of support. (And I did top-up...because I believe the company is hugely under-appreciated currently.)
After all, no-one likes a paper loss, never mind a real one.
We are tryng to maintain the positon that the company is undervalued.
If you disagree...what is it that has been said that is untrue about value?
No he was just making it up the positive RNS, he’s probably the seller, conning new investors so he can sell, that’s just as likely as anything else he says l, same goes for all the other people saying they are topping up,
BMN are now valued just £20m more than what FAR reached a week or so ago.
Was the Monday RNS the one you had anticipated then Libero?
Me b loody two. Except mine was at 20.7
Yes it's 15p to buy at the minute but got a NT when I tried 100k earlier.
Feel this is being kept at this level for some reason but should recover by the close.
If I'm honest, I hate having a buying oportunity in the 15s when I lumped my last lot of cash in at 18 thinking it could not go any lower! Grrrrrrr .........
fizzy, read through my post history and you'll see I've only responded to this on Friday when I said:
"For the avoidance of doubt, Chika has not given me any confidential information of any sort. I’ve been saying I believe that we’ll have a Monday morning RNS since about mid-afternoon. I then received an email from Chika at 17:33. So the two things are completely separate. And Chika’s long email covered various topics. Some of it was really not note-worthy. But a couple of things she said was hugely encouraging, at least from my point of view!"
However I would take this opportunity to say that I remain super optimistic that there will be a RNS dedicated to the Vanadium Electrolyte Production Plant imminently, as per my post below which I sent Friday afternoon BEFORE Chika replied to me.
"We have discovered today that BMN has been material progress made with the Building of the Vanadium Electrolyte Production Facility.
How do we know this? Because pb940 has discovered this link here online confirming there was an update made in the past 24 hours: https://www.l2b.co.za/Project/Vanadium-Electrolyte-Production-Facility-Buildin/22815
You have to pay to see the details (so none of us know what it says unfortunately) but we can see there's a material update as of 15 April. So we can realistically expect a dedicated RNS to be in the works as we speak!"
I've had responses to emails sent to Chika previously and it has the standard disclaimer at the bottom that the content of the email is confidential and intended for the recipient specified in the message only. My company has the same at the bottom of emails I send out.
Whether you disregard that confidentiality statement and reveal the content is up to the individuals own character not whether the content is actually price sensitive. In the past if I received a response from Bushveld that I felt should be shared I've contacted Chika or Mikhail and asked permission to post it to the bb.
Fizzydrink please stop your silly provocative posts. This is just childish behaviour and not something you should be proud of.
Libero, what about this special news that only you have been told about. Shame they can write it in an email and just send to you and not RNS.
Ridiculously undervalued right now. I do not think the valuation gap has ever been as wide as it is right now.
And you can buy in for a price 2-3p cheaper than Gervais Williams's Premier Miton fund and other IIs bought in last month, before the inevitable RNS saying that those individual employees striking illegally is over, which will help send the share price upwards like it did last time around.
Zero downside. Huge upside. So I'm happy to load up at these levels : )
