Saturday night on the BMN board and anything goes!
I'm in Tobago drinking god knows what. I just specify the colour and they bring me it. Tastes a bit banana this one.
Bloody hell numpty I will have a pint of whatever you have been drinking
Now listen here chaps. Oh and chapesses of course. Been a bit of a development on the old Bushveld Minerals front what. Now I know many of you have been here a good 6 years or more, as indeed I have and there have been a few times when it looked like we were on a bally sticky wicket what?
Knuttie, we don't use that kind of language here, please be so kind as to moderate it.
Where was I? Oh yes. Sticky wicket. Well as we all know that excellent chap Fortune plays a straight bat and he has turned us into a pretty formidable team. CAN YOU SHUT UP at the back Numpty5? Good lord man, must you always turn up to briefings drunk? IF I may be allowed to continue? So Fortune has steered us through some pretty choppy waters. We now have 3 Vanadium mines. Top quality stuff too. None of your pub-grub here. 2 of only 4 major processing facilities outside of China and that's not the half of it. Fortune also has an eye for the ladies. Oh sorry, not the ladies, the talent, that's it. Though he may have an eye for the ladies too for all I know. Can't say I'd blame him. Damn handsome fellow if you ask me. Anyway I meant talent.
Now, who can tell me...... put your hand down please Alfa, I haven't even asked the question yet. Yes, yes, I know you will know the answer no matter what the question. You probably know the going at Kempton and what will win the 3.30 I shouldn't be surprised. Sorry, say that again? Good to firm and dusty blanket will take some beating? I will just make a note of that. What I was going to say was that Fortune brought that fellow in to bowl a few googlies in on the old energy storage front so who can tell us that chaps name? No Squirty, it isn't Mikhail Hitler. It's Mikhail Nikomorov. Yes, Hail Hitler I get it and it's not funny. Stop s******ing please Ophidian, he didn't write 'Lolita' either.
So now this VIP stuff means we have some very important people. Yes Daisydog, what is it? Not important people? VRFB Investment Platform? Are you sure? Well it sounds like a jolly good idea to me. Basically an investment arm to benefit from all aspects of VRFB production, supply and electrolyte rental. I say, you could hardly make this stuff up.
Pauldina, stop playing with your toy ships please. You're not in the bath now. Pbub, am I boring you?
So, on top of us owning these mines and processing plants and interests in Lemur, Afritin, and god knows what else we now have interst's in OEM's for the whole VRFB shooting match! My word. Rather impressive I'm sure you'll agree.
Oh Sanchez and loudspeaker, glad you can join us. We have seats at the front for you if you'd care to make your way down. Oh for god sake, if you can't get by fatbanker go down the next aisle.
Anyway so it's all looking rather toodal pip I would say. If we need analysis we do have the spy in place, code name 'Big Bite Now' he seems to have a jolly good handle on events.
So, gk647, vauxhallviva, sloppy, if you could hand out the briefing notes on the way out I believ
Pdub - I remember you also telling me just how good the Viljoen brothers were. On that basis I went out and bought one of their books, "Africa's top geological sites" which contains the following acknowledgement:
'Bushveld Minerals and VM investments have provided extensive logistical support for the project. Much appreciation goes to Fortune Mojapelo and Anthony Viljoen, the principals and executives of VM investments and Bushveld Minerals respectively, for freeing up various staff members to spend many hours, weeks and months in order to ensure a top-quality final product."
I wonder how many more of Africa's top geological sites Fortune and Bushveld Minerals will be associated with in the years ahead.
I have withstood innumerable comments/ criticisms along the lines of “why didn’t you sell or top slice in the 40’s”. I am so,so looking forward to the permanent sweet smile I will display in due course.
Knuttie... And that growth will be on the back of others sales teams out there plus multiple income steams generated by other companies.. That's the beauty of synergies, the virtically integrated investments plus a strong sensible clearly defined corporate strategy. Too many companies work on the principal...'we will open it and they will come'...what a breath of fresh air to have a company like BMN reinvesting their profits not just into their own ventures but into the industry to help drive business along for all concerned.
I remember it well. In fact I probably typed it out! Haha
@Sharesaplenty - I see you were unable to follow a suggestion and wait until Monday to bring sensible thought out questions. If you genuinely are a scientist then you're a pretty ropey one based on todays nonsense. Q - how does a VRFB actually work ? (clue the V part is quite important) what is the Acid doing there at all ? (clue Vanadium salts are not water soluble) What would happen if you used Phosphoric acid (clue it would get pretty gungy). Please tone it down and reel it in a bit you're only managing to convince people more that you are actually Capa trying to push useful posts down the board.
Ophidian
alfacomp, from my work to date in the R&D game I've learnt its people not businesses that drive innovation. So worth tracking and following the keyplayers in VRFB. Do you consider Adam Whitehead in this category or are there others?
Pdub you will remember but others may not; Mikhail stated many, many months ago that Bushveld Energy would become 10x Bushveld Minerals. I took it with a pinch of salt then but not now. So, again aimed at others, the strategy has always been there, the modus operandi was explained & now it is rapidly coming to fruition.
Apologies: "You may not have been ...."
knuttie - and Adam Whitehead who was head of research at Gildemeister/Cellcube/Enerox before the first sell off 18-24 months ago when he went to redT
Exactly so Sharesaplenty.
You may nit gave been around this company long enough yet to have fully grasped just how good the leadership team is. I have been invested here for over 6 years. Within 2 months of my first purchase I met Fortune Mojapelo and was immediately impressed with him. I have been singing his praises ever since and he has not let me down. He seems to have the magic touch when it comes to strategy and then implementing a business plan. He is always several steps ahead of the market, as we are witnessing right now. I am beginning to believe that Mikhail may well be another strategic star.
I have always made it clear that I invested in the management of this company. I was delighted to read in the recent interviews that that is the exact same investment strategy employed by FM and MN through the VIP. My confidence in the future success of this company grows ever stronger. I see no reason to doubt that Bushveld Energy us going to be a (or possibly the) leading player in the growing VRFB market, and that may well deliver great returns for those investors with the foresight and patience to hold.
Just my opinion of course.
Given Avalon and our interest in Redt maybe their alleged pipeline is actually there.
IP is the only reason for going anywhere near Redt.
Alfa I have also carried out simple Patent searches for RedT and Avalon and found results for both companies. It would seem the BMN investment strategy is effectively already buying into intellectual property through the investments in all of the link ups recently announced in RNSs.
A rather cool strategy some might say.
Pdub the VIP looks really neat way to implement the development of VRFB, smart move and leaves the risk of bearing the costs of R&D in the hands of others who perhaps may have greater capability to execute.
