""Noble Energy, Inc. today announced that the Trema exploration well in the Tilapia license offshore Cameroon reached its target objective and encountered reservoir-quality sandstones that were water-bearing. Lukoil and Iraq government also just announced the green light to develop West Qurna II oil field further with current output of 400kbopd to increase to 850kbopd by 2024. Now they just need to turn their attention to west africa....
:))
Also true. Sometimes i wonder if i should sell my BLVN and blow the money on a fast car in case i get killed by a meteor strike. Quite unlikely as you say but if the odds swing i might do it.
its also possible the earth will be struck by a meteor wiping out life completely. however its very unlikely
Absolutely possible. We need to drill and find 5 times more oil than we expected for that to happen though which is very unlikely.
New from our leader ... ""The project (not ours ) is viewed as central to the companys plan to expand gas production to offset declining oil output in Russia. ..."" http://www.youroilandgasnews.com/lukoil+brings+us%243.4bn+kandym+gas+complex+on+stream_148768.html?utm_source=Red+Mist+Media&utm_campaign=2afa68d6cb-YIN+Newsletter+-+27th+April+2018&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0e971ac9b0-2afa68d6cb-50168981

With the Rig, only 12 days away and not a single share have changed hands for 2.5 hrs, have the sellers gone into lockdown at last.
Looks like we are going to make a move up to the recent highs before spudding.. only 7 % away..
I just saw yesterday's Holdings RNS re: Bank of America/Merrill Lynch moving from 5% to 6%. Not sure which one it was as I find the wording a little confusing. Good to see though and explains the activity last week.
Yes, took a look after I posted she's making good time must have a following wind and sea.

With fair weather and a safe passage, the Topaz Driller will be with us in two weeks time.
Thanks guys
Bluemoon - it depends on the acceptance condition within the offer document. Sometimes 50%, often 75%, sometimes 90% if the bidder wants 100% as they can invoke compulsory purchase for remaining 10% under Company Law. Crown are an investor, not owner/manager so in my view will sit on 29.7% and cash in with the rest of us when the wells spud and hopefully deliver for us.
If I recall correctly 75% springs to mind.
Anyone know what % of shareholders have to support any offer that is made for buyout of company for it to be accepted?
what ever happens has to be above where we are now.. you don't buy 20 million shares on Aim to make 10 %
Something doesn't feel right. Continued II share buying but static/falling SP. Hope this isnt a stitch up between big players? Time will tell
Right on cue with another 1% vote of confidence.
I agree , but what i cannot understand for the life of me how this share, dropped to around 30p when this organisation was clearly after a lot of shares, i would have thought that would have made the share price rise!
