42k buy just! This is s ridiculous price now. A lot of companies on AIM (good companies) are very undervalued at the moment.
Evening all,
i have not invested in AIM for many moons but I think BLVN is one of very few that I would consider investing in. I remember the days where this bb was alight with talk about whether XEL or BLVN would hit £4 first. Now we can pick these up for 15p it seems a no brainer.
I wanted to show you guys a video where I talk about the biggest loss I ever made. Hopefully I can save someone from making the same mistake...

Exactly and very well summarised. FID was scheduled for 2013, 14, 15, 16, 16, 17, 18..... It depends whether LUK and NA can be bothered with Etinde just now. The corruption and headwinds they are up against is enough to make anyone give up and I wonder how KH persevered over the years. NA of course are not disposed towards BLVN and will not forget the court action raised against them by their erstwhile "partner". NA and LUK will bide their time and Biya could not care less (and has not cared) about Etinde benefitting Cameroon unless there is a significant personal inducement made to his family. A binary bet indeed!

You are 100% wrong if you think I'm a Troll trying to de-ramp this share. I've been heavily invested here for many years and am currently underwater along with many others. Why am I still here? Because I belive it will come good. But as Cashregister says, this is essentially a binary share. Without did we are worth cash in the bank - approx. 10p or thereabouts since the divi was paid. The point I was making was to try and stop the iver speculation that this price is going to leap up anytime soon. We need drill results, but more important, we need Fid. I tgink that will happen, hence I'm still invested. But that comes in about 9-12 months. So until then expect things to stay fairly static and sit on your hands.
The heavy sells this week were quickly followed by sizeable buys. Looks like MMs soaking up shares to fulfil a large order. Just small time manoeuvres until the real action starts down the road.
My message is hang in and by all means buy more at these prices, but don't expect the price to climb just yet or get frustrated when it languishes for the rest of 2019.
Jadee - you're missing the point. The RNS gives an indication of when BLVN hope FID will take place - it doesn't provide any guarantee. It can't provide any guarantee as the Board of BLVN don't control the Etinde programme. As such, all of these comments about cash underpinning a certain share price and references to money yet to be received are arguably nonsense. BLVN is now and has been for years a largely binary bet. If Etinde is developed and FID happens in the next year or so, we'll all do rather well. Equally, if New Age, Lukoil or the Cameroon government sit on their hands we'll see a continual decline of the SP. I've been invested here long enough to know the risks and when I read posts by Luck Counts I also know that I'm dealing with someone who has very little understanding of the situation we're in.
Read the RNS regarding the dividend payment, most of what you are questioning Mr luck about is in there.
Quick question for Luck Counts - when is FID? You keep referring to FID in 2019 as though this is a cast iron guarantee. I've been invested in BLVN for around 10 years now so I think I have a pretty good handle of the overall situation. So, I'm assuming that you understand that BLVN is very much the junior partner in the arrangement with New Age and Lukoil? I'm assuming that you understand that BLVN has zero control over the progression of the Etinde development and as such BLVN has no control over FID and ipso facto not control over when it receives the next payment. On the basis of your incredibly optimistic posts, I'm assuming that you have knowledge of the Cameroonian government's ability to drag its feet and delay decisions for no apparent reason?
Yes looks like it to me too. These trolls are all over AIM stocks due to low volume and trading propensity and make a living from making a few hundred £ working for their own spreadbet or as part of a team working for much bigger fish ( market makers or hedge funds). You can spot them a mile off though so I just filter after their first couple of posts so I don’t waste valuable seconds of my life reading nonsense from people with limited or no knowledge about the company.
You gotta larf at all these balance sheet experts that come on here and purely value a stock based on cash and/or what the price was just before the divi was paid/announced
Apartently Etinde has zero value.......lol
The point is take a minimum 15p off the price before special div announcement and thats where the price will settle for a while. i.e. somewhere between 11-12p. No news for a while may drive it lower. Most are long here just realistic about where price will settle likely until FID hopefully later this year (or a takeover).
An additional £7500 for me at 14.61p out of the dividend I received. News due this quarter. Hedge fund at helm with 30 % holding. Share price should be around 20p at this stage.
I bet that's the first time you have ever been accused of seem to be "working in concert to talk BLVN down" LOL
Thanks for the correction.. as I said 10p and then sits for news
where are getting 30 USD from
I think you should go back and do your homework... the day before the dividend news this was 25p ...
It was stated last year in rns that drilling results and interpretation will be available in q1 2019 so news should be in the next month or so
There are a large number of sells going on for the last week. This stock's price is unfortunately going to 6-9p before settling.
I agree 1MSN.
I have no idea why everyone believed they should reinvest their divi and watch the price rise. It only rose BECAUSE they re-invested and it was bound to fall back again.
This will settle around 10-12p throughout 2019 until we reach FID or the project is pulled, in which case we will be priced about right.
I don't belive that will happen or I wouldn't still be sitting on my holding, but it remains a possibility, which is why the price is stuck where it is right now.
I would say this will trade to 10p ( old 25p ) the same price before dividend.. then settle for news later this year..
The low from 2016 was 18p.. 15p in cash has been taken out from price... that takes us to a life time low of 3p
How have you come to that conclusion surely it would be 31p if you factor in the dividend?
It would be 3p.. in today’s money
new historical low
ChezNous. We used to have 5 Directors and 2 NEDs and paid them handsomely to look after our money. Their only achievement was to burn through huge wedges of cash and employ 20 plus people in posh offices in Edinburgh which meant they spent 400k a year travelling back and forward to London. Despite achieving nothing, they still awarded themselves bonuses every year!
I'd suggest the current setup is more aligned with shareholders.
Comprises two people?
Crikey.
Bought in last week but regret it now.......
