Plenty Haircream. Winna winna.
Off topic I was looking at private car registrations last night and I had to laugh when the sports car it was showing on the website had a reg 'PH 1' for our CEO!
It’s not likely to be a proper duster here though. We know the place is full of oil it’s just about sucking it out without bringing in the water. So they have 2 months test data by now?
Perfect timing
Still no news..
they must have finished the testing phase by now surely?
If not the continuous rig rate will be costing a fortune. They could at least rns ‘drilling complete testing underway’, compiling results, making progress etc. So we know the drilling phase was ok.
oil price is going up a bit might help sentiment
That 3D needs to be ready before drilling 30 though.
Or 4 very bad news
Good luck to all the people getting in or topping up at this price . Lth's without available funds to take advantage are shafted again!
all they said was...
Direct measurements of WR-38Z's productivity will be available when the Company's planned well test is complete: Block will provide further guidance on the Well's test results over the coming weeks.
example...
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/initial-production.asp
The exploration and production industry provides guidance to investors on average IP rates, and how that production is expected to rise/decline over the next two years. Initial production rates are reported inconsistently, but companies increasingly use 24-hour, 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day initial production rate periods.
....
Block are not going to rattle out rates like they did at 16az until they are sure
$1 billion + gas. Value will literally come out of the ground one day. Patience del boy!
Dmj1 let’s see if you get a reply. Only takes 5mins
I also rang them yesterday and spoke to Peter Chown (geologist) who seemed a nice enough guy
Told me 3D seismic takes longer than people appreciate due to a lot of data to go through also well 30 not spudded because it would have to go into a Rns. I said peoples perception is that well 38 news is being delayed because the findings are not good especially after the episode with 16
I said if 38 is not producing and your holding back because of this surely it goes against Aim rules
He correctly said he could not comment and could not give me a timeline of when the results would be out
Thanks Spuds. Nothings certain but makes a bad news Friday RNS seem a little remoter.
I rang the company yesterday. Their IR rep is away, returning next week. My interpretation of what ltd information was given to me was the company is keen to provide an update this side of xmas, if I was a gambler I’d say next week as then the IR rep is back to field questions from investors.
Cheers DJM.....
Rocklawm I emailed the company yesterday to ask if any of the gas we are producing was going in to the new pipeline and if not what was the relevance of tweeting about it. I then asked was it a cynical attempt by the company to fill the space where the RNS was, by there own guidance of coming weeks , supposed to be. I also commented that the continued silence bore a remarkable resemblance to the debacle that was 16az.
The one thing for sure is that there is a lot of news to come during the next month and the coming year.
The big question is will it be 1) bad news, 2) good news or 3) very good news??
Personally, based upon the current share price, I believe it will be a minimum of good news in the short term with the possibility of very good news in the longer term but DYOR.
The share price reflects the invested money and small oil sales or storage build up of oil.
That is what bloe is priced at.
The bad news is we are all continuing to hold losses and though there are, I hope , many good things to come, block energy are being judged on 16aZ and people will not invest on mass until bloe show that they are making money.
The good news is we have not yet factored in any of the gas or main oil sales .
This is what we hold for .
Whatever for?
We really do need positive news ... any e mails going to bloe from punters .....
Blackout has done the company no favours after an April that promised much but eventually proved to be misleading.
When was it that PH said that news on the next drill was 'very soon'. End of September ?
