Morning Hepseal, thanks for the attack, I didn't take it personally but just laughed instead.
The recent people joining have done very little research and other regulars have knocked this for a longtime, it doesn't matter what the company does it'll be wrong. There has been zero research by these people.
Why knock something you're invested in? I just don't get it but then people that bought in last week are crying because it's only risen by 30 odd percent.
Rlightor - I totally agree with regard to the gas play point of view, I totally agree with not giving the Scirrocco mob a foothold but my point was AJW used to go on the attack accusing certain poster of being in some sort of bashing syndicate when it was quite clear they were just straightforward investors expressing a point of view.
Hepseal,
Respect to AJW , he was always saying this is a gas play whilst other thought oil was our saviour, he also argued strongly not to vote with the review that would have given certain underhanded investors the opportunity to fully screw up our investment.
Good luck all.
Yeah it was a thinly vailed rhetorical question tbh. Not thin enough :)
BD6VENT ... I did not know this was an English class ...who gives a damn about punctuation marks ... we're hear to make money ..not for any other reason ... you idiot..
MgBRG96 - Maladoni bought in last week so why would he not like the rise, your observation does not make any sense.
Mal - You may remember AJW who used to shout down any poster who presented an alternative view - someone here has taken his place.
Last time we had production figures was the the Q3 Quarterly update but they have now stopped. Year end audited results have to be provided by 30th June. We already know from the first three quarters that year end Dec 2023 should produce record production figures and revenue. However, when they provided flow figures for the first five days of production on WR34 they only provided a boepd figure and did not specify how much oil was being produced but I think you are already aware of that.
For balance while it is not difficult to find the last production figures (though I'm surprised anyone would invest without checking them), I'm not alone in being invested but not too happy with the abandonment of quarterly updates. The justification for that in the Dec Corp update (that it could put us at a commercial disadvantage with potential farm-in partners) does look a touch flaky IMO.
Saying that, if PH and his team pull this off then it will be a great ride!
MgB
I bet they will.
Maladoni,
Most on here have done their research and understand the risk both geological, political and leadership wise. On that basis and that basis alone there are a lot of investors who see a huge opportunity here and are prepared to take that risk.
The very fact there are many long term holders and significant investors not willing to sell balances some of that risk in my view but we each have our own comfort level.
There's a huge amount of history here and lots of information out there to research if people are either unsure or unimpressed.
As I always advise people , DYOR..
Good luck to all investors.
In other news they'll take 3m shares in a oner well over bid.
Maladoni I guess that scenario is completely open to personal speculation. We currently have a JV agreement with GO&G on PIV and are considering farm-in opportunities on PIII. If it doesn't happen the situation will be as it is now, what the consequences will be is impossible to say for certain. On the production figures I can probably be more helpful as I timed myself and it takes about two seconds to find them in the list of RNS's.
I sense Maladoni you don't like the rise, how can a set of directors that have put to gather a well thought out four project plan with the GOGC farmed in on one of the four projects plus a carbon capture and storage project that can offset Turkeys carbon for 20 years under scrutiny?
I do agree that the shareholders saw the Scottish lot off but that included some institutional investors who are in here at multiples of the share price. They backed the current board.
If you can give us something that requires scrutiny I'd be more than happy to look as im sure would others but for the time being you really are the one being churlish.
What's the consequences of a partner agreement not being put in place? When was the last time we had production figures, I'm a little behind.
The Scottish mob was kicked into touch not by Block management but by its shareholders so with the share price where it is its natural that the directors should be under scrutiny. Trying to dismiss people who want to discuss this openly is churlish. I've no doubt rampy nonsense puts of more investors than that other ejit ever did.
I agree Grower wholeheartedly, ive looked at both 88E and also scirocco over the last few days and you have to be happy with the path PH and the wider Block team have taken this.
The company is in a solid position and whether it's a farm out or a sale the company is incredibly well positioned to do great things.
The CCS with the world wanting to be green is actually the jewel in the crown as it is also going to be used to enhance the hydrocarbon extraction.
Agreed Gary and Mg... look at the cr4p we would be in now if the scottish contingent had got in, just look at scirocco, all those PI are going to end top with back all because of their locust type greed. Look at 88E... PANR .. all been battered by placings... 88E are already lining up their next placing going by latest announcement , they will have to find a moon sized reserve to get any decent return, aside from shares for wages (which weren't free) there has been no placing in 5 years, we have very litte shares in issue compared to the riches due our way with CCS and P3, my opinion on share rise now is news is reaching the right people .. and they are seeing massive upsides and i don't think there are many free floating shares around now. Those that are in now are going to be applauding PH and team for pulling a platinum plated rabbit out of the hat
I agree with BD6, some of you Avi8r, Rock, BO, shed et al for example have been on here and rinsed PH and the company demanding change for a longtime and also being pompous about what we've posted. Now you come on with you questions and demanding we answer.
May I respectfully suggest you wander off and do your own research as many on here have ridden the good times and the bad times but through research have decided that this is a highly viable play.
Rocklawn - however it goes it will definitely be better than getting screwed over by the Scottish duo. At least a percentage of a good thing is better than a 100% of nothing - or do you see it differently.?
Rocklawn, you won't get an answer as plenty have you filtered.
By the way, did you go to 1234's punctuation classes.
Too late now for team antics.
Onwards and upwards.
FACT
I agree with shed … 25p is nice … but just think what potential you are allowing to slip between your fingers…. If we only got 1% of CCS And half of our share in P3 … that’s still close to £6 a share
I asked a question ... but got answers that have nothing to do with my quiery .....
So it's not in your interest to accept 25p shed? It would certainly get my vote.
Genuinely not being a killjoy but I really don't see full buyout as being in anyone's interests, for me much more likely a JV bringing BLOE's expertise and experience on the licenses with a government approved entity to accelerate a net zero industrial plan. Georgia is a signatory to the Paris Agreement and are making ambitious noises on meeting their commitments, let's see what happens!
If the company is bought out by a third party ,there are just under 100m of warrants and options outstanding . Will the company have to honour all of those to third parties ...there by creating an extra 100m shares ... any thoughts to our learned
friends ...
Good evening all. Nice rise the last few days. Looking forward to many more to come.
