The question about being alive applies to us all Alamal, this application went from an orderly set process to a farce and is slowly turning into a tragedy. Tragedy for the shareholders, the Sami or the incumbent government remains to be seen.
Sounds like you've been very happy 'with your lot' long may it continue, ATB.
I may not be lucky here but I have a shedload of GGP, and shanta , and I don’t think it’s to late to buy them they look really good , and a couple of tiddlers I’ve researched are sunrise and alba, there again if you are younger tuck them away for the future, thank you for your good wishes ATB,
I looked at GGP a while back and although I have missed out on some profit, I just could not bring myself to invest in any company in which Alex Borrelli is involved. Eric will understand what I mean.
You've made me shudder. Lol.
What’s so funny Eric !
EricDraven thinks you are Edd44 in disguise... £1.7m in the bank and bottom feeding on AIM By investing in penny shares... Lol!
That’s rubbish Pocko I have shares in Astra Zeneca and that’s not a penny ,also bats and glaxo to name a few ,to give you another laugh ,the solicitor bank and taxman will meet and see how I can give it all to friends in my will ,it’s absolutely no good to me at my time of life ,my outgoings are minimal, the reason I carry on investing is I’ve done it for sixty years and I still enjoy it ,it still gives me a buzz, I wish I could knock forty years off of my age but I can’t so this is life for me now and I have to smile and put up with it ,one thing I don’t want is the government to get forty per cent of my money I am going to make my good friends happy now ,good luck all of you and carry on smirking ,and to you Eric’s nighty night ,
I merely answered your question.... You could be Lord Lucan himself, and I really don’t care. Have a Corona and put your assets in trust...
Re "the solicitor bank and taxman will meet and see how I can give it all to friends in my will ,it’s absolutely no good to me at my time of life"
I really enjoy having you as a friend Al
You make a good point though.
How many winners of the lottery carry on buying lottery tickets? Old habits die hard- my friend
Thank you 3card and Pocko ,when my wife died three years ago through a massive stroke in 2015 ,I’ve travelled the world ,I have a superb flat on Brighton seafront and I am a very lucky person ,I want my friends to enjoy it now not when I die at 110 ,ha ha ha ,I appreciate all you posters with families will look at this differently ,but I know it’s right for me ,and if Beowulf reaches a pound there will be a lot more ,
Hi Alamal. Nothing is funny about Borrelli. His performance at BMR (and he's still there) has been, in my opinion, catastrophic. He managed to take a promising Company with valuable assets and destroy it beyond repair. His numerous ineptitudes also saw that, some two years ago now, the Company failed to follow AIM rules and was duly delisted. Since then he has brought shareholders nothing yet at all, by way of any deal to raise us from the dead, and we remain cryogenically frozen without a trading platform.
The other point is, there remains the question as to whether BMR's demise was purposefully effected by him, or if Borrelli is just really genuinely so bloody useless. We just don't know, but what I feel about that I'll keep to myself. The sad part and the almost unbelievable thing, is that he appears to think he's done a great job! All in the intrerest of existing shareholders. Lol.
Al, if I didn't fake laugh, I'd cry. 3card and I are BMR shareholders with every penny invested now written off.
Borrelli has proven himself to be a liability, a dangerous operator, irresponsible with other people's money yet somehow all the while unaccountable for his actions, and I would not invest in any company ever again with which he is involved, no matter how fantastic the initial prospect looks. It's that simple.
Best regards.
Eric re Borrelli.
Very succinctly summarised if I may say so. And not forgetting the debacle at Metal Tiger where he almost shafted shareholders with a low ball T/O offer by BMR, following which he was ousted from MTR a few days later.
Eric i was a BMR holder aswell.... hoping this little company can balance the books for me
GLA
Bricktop, yes, I remember you being in BMR too. It's a real shame what has happened there. I'm semi-hopeful that BEM will help me claw back a large deficit, but currently my average here is still 13.5p.
Let's face it, I'd be wise not to pin my hopes completely on any investment.
Good luck to you Brick.
Hi Eric, I seem to recall you also had a very high average in BMR. Your problem is not averaging down. Let's say you were £20k down and decided to average down you would no longer have a high average, and the good news is you would still only be £20k down. lol
Eric i am happy to wait it out with BEM .... then i have been collecting bitcoins for a rainy day..... plan an exit from BEM after next elections... then i can defo say thats enough patients... spanish property be super cheap by 2021 and i be buying the retirement villa maybe 2022.... so we see if it falls into place for me my BEM friend
GLA
3card. Lol. Plus I'd also be the extra money down that I'd just averaged down with.
Howl.
Sounds like you at least have a plan Brick, and best of luck with it. I'm not sure when I'll exit BEM, but it depends on how Kallak is developed and whether we are the ones developing it. Can't be sure what will happen, but I'll wait until after the concession saga is concluded. Who knows, we might be mining gold by then and supplying Europe's electric car batteries. Lol.
What's another decade.
:-)
