Sooz, thanks for sharing. Dunno about it though. Let's see what next week brings. As it stands, it not being official news from BEM, I'm not happy. Lol.
Perhaps best not to jump the gun Geo. I would have thought Kurt is obliged to tell us something of that nature, particularly because of its importance and considering the wait we've endured, and inform shareholders before anyone thinking of writing an article is able to get their hands on the information. If Baylan gave us the nod yesterday, and we then applied for extended permits with immediate effect, or have applied for the permits now even without any further contact from Baylan, then I'd expect some sort of news first thing on Monday morning. If we don't receive any, then we can take the article with a pinch of salt.
In my view.
Tremendous news indeed. Beowulf has clearly had the message from Baylan.
Can't be long now and certainly before the 27 November Conference
Sorry that's not working.....
Just google this: Gruvbolaget vill utöka borrandet i Kallak
13 hours ago · KALLAK Kallak Beowulf Mining is now applying for extended drilling permits in Kallak to map the deposit additional. Hope it's true you can't trust news these days but beware in case it isn't.
You have to subscribe and I'm not certain you'd get it in English but there's a good picture.

"Sums up Sweden’s arrogance that centuries old certainties still hold sway. They do not."
True...and the UK is no longer the ruler of a great empire. ;-(
That statement is a sick joke - either a bare faced lie or the author is deluded.
Be aware that the U.K. has contributed 17% of the EU budget for many year. That will cease very soon. Remaining members must tighten their belts significantly, Germany and France, for whose benefit the EU has been developed are at the front of the queue. Sweden’s current economic downturn will be hastened by the lack of EU money going forward.
As far as Sweden is concerned, it is a perfect storm, economically, and yet ineffective ministers like Baylan continue to spout this rubbish.
Just had another look at it;
"........However, the starting point for the government's handling is always that it should be done quickly, efficiently and without compromising legal certainty. At this stage, I cannot comment on when the cases are sufficiently prepared so that decisions can be made."
Morning Ibjj . Well, sort of, but not the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.....another story line could be that in December 2018 the sp was 4.2p.
...Can’t say no, won’t say yes.
My assessment of this sh*tshow is as true today as it has ever been.
Just a brief moment of gentle scrutiny for Baylan. Now back to normal and the Aktie owners have played punters like a dream to extract maximum profit.
Sums up Sweden’s arrogance that centuries old certainties still hold sway. They do not.
Sweden’s economic downturn is already unstoppable and with ministers like Baylan will only gather momentum. So sad...
Friday Sooz. I think we all deserve a Crunchie.

Yes me lover, time methinks now for the deployment of our own buzzy bity.
Laffin suzy... any other nation would show um.... if only it was BEM in any other nation.... try to keep busy .... the time will pass the pressure will grow... and will all be a tad richer..... is my prediction
Brick
Call themselves a mining nation? Huh! If only they had that ore in Cornwall, they'd show 'em.
Which reminds me of the time when Asa Persson responded to a question about how long it would take....there's a lot of paperwork and we don't have enough resources, it could take a year to process it....and we were aghast. That was about two years ago I think. Just thinking this morning that it takes an apple three years to grow from new wood but to come to fruition it will need help from outside sources, buzzy bity things. Blame Eric.
One response could easily be to turn it into an opportunity to waste another 9 months assessing it,sending out to all interested parties for comment then sending it back to interested parties for comments about comments made by other interested parties by which time another election could be pending ? Cynical ? Of course I am but we have seen this disgraceful behaviour time and again,an excuse for doing nowt at all.
I wonder how the request for a review will proceed?
John, we've been here for a decade now, and we've still not got even a loose timescale yet for the fruition of any one of our projects. Lol.
Looks like CSP’s map of future mining in Sweden, with Kallak being mined in 2030 is pretty much on course at this rate.Still these shares could pay for my grandchildren’s care home costs yet.lol.
I don't feel that there's any pressure on Mr Baylan at all. He is fully aware, particularly via Kurt's correspondence, that our application has been circulating for six and a half years. We shareholders also know that priority was supposedly given to our case (though Kurt didn't say by whom) some six months ago and counting, and if we officially were told that, then Baylan must know. The problem we are dealing with, I feel, is simply the deep-rooted disgraceful habit within the Government of severe eggshell treading, resulting in nobody getting upset, or at least not for too long, because when something upsetty applecarty even mildly occurs, which vaguely ruffles anyone, it is stopped immediately, with reversion back to acute inertia mode, which of course brings a sigh of huge relief and smiles all round once again. Lol. So that's what happens, what we are dealing with. The Swedish Government coalition is effectively a safe, inert gas, and must remain so. Any hint of volatility dealt with promptly at source, (yes, fast, shock) before the thing has time to form an alternative state and explode into unmanageable carnage.
It's about time we took the fight to them then and gave Baylan a deadline of our own. Meddle with this inertia from the outside. Lol.
All in my humble. Some of it in jest.

Interesting article posted on Avanza
well...except the opposition parties would support the decision in Parliament - don't need the green's support. I appreciate it's not a Parliamentary decision but...
I don't know if this has already been posted but I've found this report on sustainable mining with particular focus on human rights and Indigenous Sami rights
https://www.sei.org/publications/swedish-mining-sustainable-futures/
You may recall, as I predicted. It was always going to be this way in the public domain of Parliament - his only other options were to admit incompetence or to announce the result of our application.
You may also recall that the other limb of my prediction was that Baylan would be shouting at his minions behind closed doors to get this sorted out and not put him in such an embarrassing position again.
The question was never going to be answered, but that was not the point. It has increased the pressure on the govt, especially so if it gets extensively picked up in the news media.
