Hi Roller. Yes, I took a gamble at the time, because of the terrifying discount of 40% given on the last fundraise and the jeopardy thereby placed on my main holding average, so although I’ve got the average down somewhat, the sp has dropped over 30% again since the fundraise, rather than it rising above the 2.06p for any good length of time. Just a few days, from memory. While Kurt must bear the blame for raising at a 40% discount, if that’s the very best he could do, he of course did not then remain (for whatever reason) to see any of the things he had planned for BEM for this year come to fruition. Or, it seems, even commence. I don’t feel we know enough of the facts about why he left to be able to apportion the blame for the lack of progress solely to him, if at all.
On the face of it, a six month review, without any detailed explanation, is contemptible, an unfunny joke at the expense of shareholders. Unless, and I say this with blind hope, the six month review includes a deal for Kallak, pending the Appeal.
Anyway, I’m staying for as long as I can. I want to see what happens, to give myself the chance of it not being a complete waste of my thirteen years here.
Cheers Roller. 👍
Me too SJ. Just what I hope for now.
Hello Eric, I'm so sorry to hear you're having to chip away at your holding to raise money... I'm sure he reads this so I'd just like to say...Well done Kurt you did an amazing job as the "Boss" I'm guessing your finances are all ok...To553r

Thanks Sir Pet.
I think I hope your thoughts are correct Eric. I'd be happy with that :)
Hi Wod. I will only sell small amounts if I absolutely have to. So I needed to. Obviously I hadn’t planned on having to sell at 1.49p, when I bought the option shares at 2.06p. But at the time I took the additional risk to get my average down. It hasn’t worked, but I’m still trying to keep my main holding for better days. Hopefully.
None of us were to know of the events that would occur following the last major fundraise.
Hey ho!
SJ, good that you managed a profit there. Wise move. Yep, we don’t know what will occur. Notable though that we still haven’t filled the Jokkmokk Iron CEO job. Why not?
My thoughts are, because one won’t be needed.
Wow Eric, that´s a fortune! 25.000 You really must be in a big jam. ;)
Cheers Eric. Only a very small amount which I have now halved. We shall see following this review. Grafintec looks good. The others we don't have a clue so could be something positive in the pipeline.. not long to wait now 🤞
SJ, best of luck. I had to sell 25,000 BEM on Monday as I need the money now. It came up as a 29% loss on the 2.06p offer price paid for the option shares. Not good, and we aren’t yet sure what will drive the sp even back to the old norms of 3.5-5p zone. One way or another though, this approximate six month review is getting shorter.
If the Government does lose this Sami appeal and we have our positive decision reversed, we surely must then consider taking legal action against the Government.
However, it’s difficult to see how any Government over time could set legal rules and standards then the present Government be undone by its own processes. Nine years and various coalitions to finally get it wrong would be an international business catastrophe in our sector.
As Sooz mentioned, I think some of us have had enough of mining. Lol.
Nice recovery ..well done SJ. Our situation here is of course more acute than a mere re-design of the production facility...the long awaited decision will decide our fate once and for all...give or take Grafintec which might succeed, eventually at the end of 2027 with a bit of luck.
I couldn't resist 😅. Cheers Suzy.
Good luck Sj...I've tied my hands together. :-)
Ive had enough too Suzy, but I've bought a few there this morning. Just because it's late stage and under construction. Can't see them not getting the funding required... gamble really. I won't be buying any more proper minnows were again mind 😭
Recovery for HZM has become...up 13%...I'd buy a few myself if but I've had enough of mining.
Telling it like it is we just recovered slightly from what is possibly an all time low in Sweden...but y'all can read that same as I can. So...does a wipe out for us await?
And re tit for tat... I wouldn't want to disappoint, would I. Lol.
The we weren't born yesterday remark was in no way directed towards the HZM shareholders; I sincerely hope their current situation improves quickly..it was directed at TheFarEnd in exchange for his little lecture on investing in general of which he is the absolute expert and genius...same with politics which he spouts incessantly on the Lloyds board to which he is absolutely devoted come rain or shine. Just saying. Tit for tat like. :-)
O wad some Power the giftie gie us To see oursels as ithers see us! It wad frae mony a blunder free us, An' foolish notion: What airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e us, An' ev'n devotion!
Ramping was something I slipped into my reply to illustrate the 'contents of your posts' comment. Anyone who has followed this BB over the years knows that after every setback this company has suffered, not only do you try and put a positive spin on it, you will try and castigate anyone who disagrees with you. Which is probably not a wise move when people are losing time and money. Something that is happening right now!
Its a travesty what has happened to investors of HZM especially so soon after such a positive recent RNS (which on the face of it was outright lies) The same could be said about BEM but of course as you 'weren't born yesterday' it couldn't possibly happen to you Suzy, could it? Try saying that to Horizonte investors.
Once you get attached to an investment, which you clearly have, for over 10 years. I would suggest your judgement becomes cloudy and you have clearly illustrated this over the years and are still doing. Hence the constant interaction with any post that you perceive as negative.
In short I repeat, you are clearly one of those who are 'expecting some sort of a miracle' here. I hope your fairy godmother delivers for you.
Evening Roller. Yes, that was real tragedy, which puts our squabbles and fallings out into perspective.
Yeah Sooz, that’s true, fair point.
I remember in the LA riots in 1992 Rodney King asking "can't we all just get along" look what happened to him and Reginald Denny...good evening all.
Hello Eric. People only get along nicely when the going's good, sadly. Now, now...as you say is quite appropriate. Lol.
Apologies, I made a mistake and said “now now”, lol, but which inadvertently may sum up some of today’s posts.
:-)
