Nighty night Eric n'All.
Eric I liked it...I liked those maps with the little gold spots.
Hi Sooz. Just seen the presentation. It wasn't the best really. I reckon if he could just slow his delivery down a little then he wouldn't stumble over his words so often, and by doing himself this favour, the whole presentation would sound more polished, which then increases the chances of drawing in a greater number of investors.
Only my opinion though.
Lb, great post. We shall know shortly if the KU itself is just as ineffective as the Government it is investigating.
A slap on the wrist only for how our application has been dealt with would be wholly unsatisfactory.
Have to see. Hopefully UNESCO will not need to be involved, because we know that it isn't actually necessary.
United we stand...Lol.
I'll watch it after dinner.
Yes I agree well detailed ? Braggy do ya agree or not ?
I don't see it as a shabby bribe, not at all...we've moaned every time there's been a private placement that it was being placed with 'Mates.' Now ordinary shareholders are included, it's about time actually, but it is an expensive way to raise money.
I’m not back in again Suzy. You know my position well. Only if and when the concession for Kallak is in the bag will I invest again.
I am also surprised investors are committing to the shabby bribe of the 3 for 8 deal before the deadline. Anything might happen in the next 3 weeks, starting tomorrow. Why not just wait. Whatever entitlement has been communicated to investors has their name on it until the deadline?
You back in again?
Yes, Ibjj..good post. But I don't think they'll fall short (KU) not long now and we'll find out. They can't bring anyone 'to book' but they can make mighty big waves.
Tomorrow the KU should conclude that the government’s handling of the Kallak application has not followed due process, and they have refused to engage with the company and it’s submission of not only the application ( watertight in itself ) but also several additional and voluntary pieces of work not required at this stage of the permitting process, but submitted anyway , in good faith, in order to break the log jam.
It should instruct the government to reach and communicate a decision immediately.
It should also recommend significant compensation to the company for financial damage suffered as a direct consequence of unjustifiable delay.
Moreover, it should conclude that any referral to UNESCO at this stage could only be viewed as further avoidance of the government doing it’s duty, as working mines already exist closer to the Laponia boundary.
That is what should happen, and this is already years overdue.
What, in my opinion, is more likely is that the KU will refuse to apportion blame for the lack of a decision, and encourage the government to inject a degree of urgency into their deliberations over Kallak or similar meaningless and overly polite nonsense.
The KU are as aware as everyone of the insidious influence of all things ‘green’ in Sweden and will fall well short of bringing Baylan, Damberg & co to book.
Aug...absolutely! LOL
Afternoon. Oaktree, I hope you are wrong. If the KU recommends hearing from UNESCO, then it’s clear that BEM should have submitted the proposals to the local greengrocer, and not to the MI. The KU would be suggesting that the MI has made the recommendation for the grant of concession, without all of the necessary information to do so. The KU would then have raised more questions about those involved in this process, than they had answered. God only knows where that could end. Imo only. atb
I could do two transactions, one electronic and one direct to the Registrar but I've decided to risk applying for Excess shares to save myself brokerage on transferring my certificated shares to my ISA.
I would imagine it's the same offer for everybody regardless of the Broker...in order to qualify for Excess shares you have to take up all your Options. But the Excess facility will be dependent on the total take up. Good Luck.
There she goes, blue...tis the colour of heaven. ;-)
I just got a two page letter in respect of the offer from HSBC
Two questions, is there a link to the full offer prospectus and do you have to purchase the full entitlement ?
The HSBC letter doesn’t indicate that you can choose the amount only acceptance of all your entitlement ?
Oaktree I think we are all underwhelmed on here ,I don’t think there are any spark s left ,funnily its showing the price up on the top risers just now ,
It’s not a good sign that the SP is still drifting closer and closer to the discounted price the night before the KU present findings...I would have expected a flicker of life especially if the KU has teeth and a timeline and Swedish investors are hearing from their own body...I’m afraid that a sniff of a positive leak should have brought this on a short term hike so I’m not holding my breath. In fact you need to be Michael Jackson living in an oxygen tent to be invested here...very dodgy analogy on every level but I gave up holding my breath a decade ago!!!
Predictions on KU response:
1. They’ll recommend hearing from UNESCO...
2. They’ll suggest that this process is damaging Sweden’s credibility for investors but not outline next steps...
3. They’ll suggest a new committee form to review the process...
4. They’ll suggest the government grow a pair and get on with it...?!?
No...option 4 was just silly, sorry, what was I thinking...?!?
I’d live to hear thoughts from others but my money is on option 3...
On another matter, unrelated...were the Swedes part of the Viking mob that pillaged East Anglia?!? If so, what happened to them...did they go vegan?
3 card I have now received the offer letter and it clearly states that I cannot buy any excess shares from them only the ones on offer, bit of a blow but I do have to find a few thousand as I own so many ,looks like I sold TLW yesterday at the right time because this morning it’s down , good luck
Sound like range resourses, Peter Landau with Puntland all over again.
COME ON KURT!!!!!! Get some B@LLS, Stop all this dragging Kallak on & on.

A press conference seems promising, I thought they would "just" publish a report. Let's hope for some justice :)
Yes Thanks Andy, and for all of your previous posts. Your posts are always interesting and relevant. Lets hope that this latest post is also significant! I have been here since the days of Delt and need an SP of 16p to break even so I would welcome some good news tomorrow. As we all would! Good luck to everybody and thanks again Andy
So good luck everybody
Sweden will need, as many countries will, to massage it's economy after the pandemic. It is still struggling with covid numbers as referenced below. It must have the vaccine as there has been no 'herd immunity' achieved. I tend to the view that the concession will be granted but I am viewing the SP with some trepidation. GLA.
Sweden, whose unorthodox virus-fighting strategy has garnered global attention, registered 5,990 new cases on Friday; the highest since the start of the pandemic, statistics from its Health Agency show.
