" I hope we are approaching the finishing line, because my wife wonders why each morning at 7 am I am in front of the computer. I could say RNS but she wouldnt understand!
Happy New Year to everybody"
She probably knows my wife then!!
Me again! I have been here for the duration and feel I know some of the regula rs. I forgot to mention Aug , John the G, Treetop, Oaktree and Pocko and apologies if I have forgotten anyone. But I am grateful for the information and interest you all provide. Thanks. Bustergut? Never heard of him. I hope we are approaching the finishing line, because my wife wonders why each morning at 7 am I am in front of the computer. I could say RNS but she wouldnt understand!
Happy New Year to everybody

Wotitsworth.
My original post was about the current SP after the fund raising and then a quick comparison when the last 'spike' occurred.
As to the longer term valuation (providing a concession is granted) that's also anyone's guess, any figures at this stage must surely be hypothetical with so many unknowns. As aug said, the difficulty is, how you value something that hasn’t been fully measured.
Budge has indicated that he would like BEM to proceed alone with this mine development, unlikely IMO due to funding issues. A good example of this would be Sirius Minerals.
All I'm suggesting is that 20p may be obtainable after a positive outcome, who knows? Momentum/sentiment will drive this in the short-term before reality takes over. My strategy (if it happens) will be to sell into the rise, and move on, been here too long already.
I've already spotted a mistake in my calc before anyone picks any holes.
Actis. You forgot Buster. Happy new year
My fag packed calculation of the value of an award concession (using 9.3 SEK to $ and 11.3 SEK to £)
250million tonnes at $142-182/tonne = $35.5B - $45.5B value
$35.5-4.55B/10% valuation of unmined- £3.55B-£4.55 Value of the mine SEK 33 B - 42.4 B or £2.92B -£3.75B
£2.92B – 3,75 or 10% £292M to £375M or (36p to 45p per share with 828M shares)
These are all approximates and just a quick valuation - this is not a ramp!
Well said Trev. Short but sweet. Many thanks to all the contributors on here , Eric the Daddy of them all, 3 Card, Sooz , S74 et Al. (Pun intended). Happy New Year to all and I love GREAT BIG YES!
You are excited, Sooz is excited, I may as well be excited. Lol.
Looking good here. Strong since the fundraise. Excited for 2021, and what it may potentially bring. Not just kallak but the drilling on the Vardar and the fennoscandian project moving forward :))))
Especially if commods are still red hot lol
Good luck to everyone for the new year.
Trev.
Have to see eh? Surely we can't go on being disappointed.
....
20p way too low id peg this at 50p ultimately BTW notice whats happened to the sp its up 8% well up on the leader board.
When Sweden says yes ignore the shares in issue the MCAP will rerate to £500 million
whoops yes forget the placing :-). Even so, it doesn't significantly change the fact that 40-50 seems closer than 20..
Hi. Good effort that, but perhaps I can help with the shares quoted. We actually now have 828,175,224 (corresponding to a fully subscribed Capital Raising). That's the latest share figure. Taken from the last RNS re the Offer/Fundraise.
I'm not sure about the other stuff, albeit we do also have premium quality iron ore, which should command more per tonne than the average quality lump. A factor. Also job creation and regeneration benefits to the area, maybe another factor.
20p is low, it seems it, but that's a starting point, which is multiples of where we currently sit.
If the iron ore prices carry on rising into a bull market, then as SJ mentioned, people thirsty for this kind of stock may add to the excitement of any offer, by driving up the sp.
Or we could keep it all, mine it ourselves and move the distribution centre to Serbia. Lol.
Although there are 838 million shares in issue.
any day and when it does it will be a 200%+ day
I don't know for sure but would love to discuss.
SO if its 40bln ignoring other assets,
assume 70% recovery = 28bln
assume 50% cost of recovery = 14bln
assume 50% tax = 7bln
assume 50% transport to market = 3.5blm
Half it again for all the things I don't know about and its 1.75bln
Divide that by the 500milion shares = $3.5 a share......
I'm not suggesting its worth $3.5 a share, but there has a to be a lot of expenses to get it 20p. I'm not even an amateur on the subject let alone professional so would just be interested to know what I am missing.
Thanks
Buys far outweighed sells yesterday.
Late reported buys from yesterday now shown up. One 2 million and one 500,000. That's why it went up amidst the sells. Some nice buys in the background going on.
$40 billion maybe the theoretical FOB price Wotitsworth, but I wonder how you would get it out of the ground and magic it up to, say, Lulea or Narvik?
250 million tons at $160/Ton and you only get a share price of 20p.
I would love to be educated with that calculation if you don't mind Thefarend
The share price is falling and the bears continue and will still be in its death cross I am afraid anyone investing maybe better playing cards or going to the bookies . Shares like this one dead money and you gotta be a fool to waste money here its been a sinking ship for 8 years rudderless and drifting down to the bottom of the ocean ?
Anyhow can get worse before its gets better or it could go bankrupt and put us all out of misery nothing gained much loss here to speak !
where s the resident trolls gone its very quiet here Tim Dim , Mean Braggy Baggy , Moaning Alma , Sexy Suzie , Eric Claptted Out , and a few other Zombies . G.L.A
