Good Morning What a nocturnal board this has become, all my vampire friends even the Captain.and what a very long post you delivered,I said you where a typist thats a advantage you have over me,no gold plated cutlery here, (he says as drinking from his broken cup) and I do my best to remain objective with the shares I hold, but I have occasionally fallen in love with the odd one. As for KAZ the face of 2013 ,your guess as good as mine, hope it works out for all who hold but not for me, many are sitting on huge losses at all levels, so holders are still keen to leave all the way up, suppressing the sp for some time to come, In reply to your question; do I trade or invest..I suppose I do both, but not so much with the big yeilders,I leave that to James Lego and Capt Cash..more a speculator but not that jolly most days, shure I have even tried spread betting and in all honesty I eventually after many years of losses found a formula that worked for me and stepped aside recently with a modest profit because I found it to time consuming and not really enjoying what I was doing there is more to life than money,my motto is live every day as if its your last ..and one day you will be right..anyway the sawbench is calling ... have a gooday at the office and next time im in Dunoon I will buy you breakfast...
Here
LOL Must visit the test bb in my yellow peril uniform some Friday night to take down your particulars. See if I can find the Lovely Rira meter maid you tube. You certainly have me worked out or is it upped.
Morning capt. I see you spend most of these days on the vog bb teasing the inmates there including my lad Ariel.. Since we were talking about kaz on here last night let me just say that I noticed that you disappeared like snow off a dyke off that bb without saying if you had sold up there or traded your way to glory. Must have been all that teasing you were getting from Jolly about your purchase there. You can be sure of shell shale shell eh? Mother-in-law has them in certificated form along with bp and, if we keep being nice to her, we are sure to inherit them then again she can be quite fickle like your goodself and she might leave them to the Boys Brigade or something like that. Nice to see the shell bb with some traffic but it went a bit quiet again after the recent 5% fall.
lego lego>>>morning.............. lego.........
james ive got a large holding in shell for the divs play around with a seperate amount to trade the ranges easy money...im lovin it lol atb

I was wondering when you'd show up!!! Do you know what time it is?!!! Night all
many a true romance az started on here or the kaz board............. strange but true.lol........ up for the morning shift in 4 hours,duh...
Yes the year graph on RDSB is a cracker for those trading ranges mate. ATB
Just had a scan of it,long winded or what! I'll ask around tomorrow and report back mate. I think home are a solid one but like you don't take much notice except saw they're ex tomorrow. Also got medicx ex tomorrow so that's 5 of mine...p/f will drop a bit but at least there's a pipeline filled up!! Shell and bp both pay around Xmas which is handy. Night bud.
hi mate james mentioned shell...are you in? good for divs and swings 2100 to 2300 ish atb
Good stuff. Out of them after they followed rsa with a cut but will revisit if I ever see them at 310 again. Shell and home retail also ex tomorrow. Surprised how much home have recovered quietly, don't have a massive amount but glad they're paying divs still. Yes till next time mate, night.
Yes it was a strange one, some up and some down and the miners mostly down. In truth I've put a lot into mwa but its all a bit of a lottery and Lady Luck plays a huge part. Thorntons was a recovery I felt confident about as they went into wholesale as well as retail but I've sold them now(for now). I'm irritated that esure dropped after I added but results tomorrow and as long as the div is around the 14p projected I'll be less annoyed at the almost instantaneous paper loss...you know of expect it on aim but not so on main! Relieved to see sse off the 13's but that's another one reporting this week to keep an eye on. Quite a few ex divs tomorrow on mine,Glaxo and cable comms to name but two. I don't thing any of us should follow bb advice from strangers but as part of the decision to buy its a good thing if we 'know' the posters. Anyway its late...again! Catch up soon.
No need to apologise to me. I have spotted you on the bbs of a couple of the companies I have an interest in. I am not sure that we share the same sense of humour but I did appreciate your joke about stalking. You might have got the wrong end of the stick about me too, some people do. No silver spoons in my background though I own some nice gold plated cutlery these days. I learned a long time ago that you need to be totally objective about the shares you are holding. If you are not then you are only fooling yourself and nobody else. You must have picked up on that on the bbs you have visited and it's not me who has been buying or recommending buying kaz shares recently though I did land another chunk from the enrc deal this week. I think I have enough of them right at the minute lol. People who do a lot of day trading tend to worry overly about short-term price fluctuations but, despite what you read and hear on these bbs, conventional wisdom still tends to prove that the best returns and lower losses are made by holding stuff longer term. I know lego is likely to disagree wtih that. When tht slumped to sub 10p, I caught james maggs and nkotb late one night chatting on the rbs bb. I knew james held tht and I asked what he was going to do. To my surprise both posters said it looked as though it had bottomed out and nkotb certainly bought in around that level and it gave me the confidence to buy more - though it was never one of my bigger holdings. The moral here is that a paper loss can look frightening but in the case of the right share it can be overcome. If I thought for a minute that kaz was likely to go bust or stay at its current level then I'd have no hesitation in selling but the share price is likely to recover at some point. Same with the hoc you bought today though I could be doing without some of the very transparent ramping and deramping that goes on on bbs and people think they are being subtle when their motives can be read like a book. I need to go to bed soon but do you just trade or do invest as well.
What a funny old day it was. ...two buys as you know but the market was not very kind on the mining sector again with all of this uncertainty on gold...quite optomistic with mwa in the mid to long term so not all gioom....I think for now I will just play the waiting game, see how things pan out before commiting myself any more at this moment in time..been looking at kaz but fear that has lower to go (sorry QueenElvis if you are reading) so thats about it ATB...
Thanks ,more or less what l thought,so I,m doing as you say just holding and hoping for 3pounds +
He'll be back, probably out enjoying himself with the blnd and clln divvies!!!
I think Lego has hibernated for the winter....
Don't believe you!!
To complicated for a simpleton like me
The interest isn't worth bothering with and the option to convert to shares hardly enticing at so much over the current SP. I'd just stick with the shares and leave the instis to take up the bond IMO!!
Thanks for the reply,so its not really to the small shareholder to purchase these bonds ,does it mean that there will be more shares if those nwho get the bonds convert them into shares ,all this stuff is a bit over my head
Raising some dosh in the market no big deal really, SP drop down to general plus UBS stuck a sell on....brokers eh!
can somebody explain this bond offering,is it like a rights issue,it all seems very confusing to me,thanks..
