Been reading blvn Just realised I was reading your posts. How come webbo1 didn't get a ban? Very funny reading his posts.
Not 68, it was £80k Are you at work? Is this phone or work lap top? langyy, loves squirrels, hates rats.
I think it was BB and yes I remember them as well as ROK,Woolies,Jarvis and recently HMV although steered clear of GMG thankfully!
No the land is separate, a few acres in northants, normal garden back home.
Who was the 68k poster on blvn..a scarey amount that.......... I've belonged to the lincolnshere trust now for over 10 years, some great reading with there news may every month,I love squirrels by the way.lol.............. You must have abiggarden James, acres by the sound of it.......
Except BBY!!!
Bought a few bowleven just under the placing price, the old argument that the placees saw it worthy at that price verses dilution for the existing holders. Have t followed it much since it dropped further
Thanks AA just said oldboy. Just had a look at blvn A couple of weeks ago similar things with AIM-to Death, I think. I had some in EVO, lost a lot, but some lost a massive amount.
Yes I saw that and amazing profited from a quick in/out on the back of it which made up for losing money every other time I've had them. Bit of a worry if 'fingers in African pies co' pull out or worth a proper look?
Thanks, I'll take a look. Hate seeing people lose out on that scale
They pulled out of fjet
Good work mate, the only oils I'm any good at are bp and shell. I must have made a profit on some oil specs but none spring to mind!!
it was oldboy111? and it was £80,000 just looked friday just before the close...
A few years ago when lonrho were 2p I remember my broker joking with me as it was an obsession of mine, why don't you put it all in lonrho at 2p....! Mind you as much as I like mwana and think there's some hefty headroom potential I don't trust any spec enough to put enough in they would have me checking bulletins boards and reading rns's at 7am....well not this week anyway!!!
Put it all in mwa...
Thought that was crazy, but funny. So who was it? Do you have blvn? I should know what you hold, as I look at your posts often enough.
After losing a load on EO I'm a bit wary of the North Sea!!
Annoyingly man group is not only my biggest paper loss in the main account but also the sipp....why didn't I get shot when they went into the 130,s aaaarghhhh! Actually I added when they got there as I thought about how much I paid for my first lot...buy on the momentum up as well as looking for the bounce on the way down, hmmmm!
Thanks, Garyn appears to be one of the good guys in my opinion, so I am sorry to hear about that. AIM can hit you hard, and fast. Blvn has been quite a shock for me, as I assumed it was one of the safer stocks on AIM. Beginning to realise there is no such thing
Emg& fgp should do a merger... be one giant of a company.. One massive paper loss for the uk
Another one I've never heard of! Bought a few PA. and serco last week and reluctantly back in with a few CNA on the dip yesterday...reluctantly as I sold my last lot when they got to 3 quid.
It was probably a cfd..
Yes and so did kier group! Oh well we made a profit that's what counts.
If I had that kind of money in an aim share or that kind of loss I'd be keeping quiet about it lol!! Lego, yes I remember now,had some briefly but never big in anything like that,I like my boring ones that pay divs then the odd mad gamble on a spec or recovery like jpr(about the only one I ever did well on!!!).
Was holding some blvn until recently, sold at 65p, and was worried that I might have made a mistake. Thing I don't understand is why people put a stop loss on this type of share. Any idea who it was got stopped out? Will have to look now.
