The government's latest wakeup to the need for a catch-up with infrastructure spending should benefit our business model. Also, with the ever expanding trend for online shopping, we will be there to help.
This is always going to be a steady stock by it's REIT nature. I will just top up with the calls for capital as and when they need to expand, unless there is a particular dip in the offing. Should be a strong and steady dividend stream. Onwards & upwards......
"The UK needs to build a shed load more warehouses. The rapid expansion of online retailers is expected to lead to a shortage of warehouses. The UK needs more than 18m square feet of new warehouse space a year, yet only 3.5m square feet will be built." Taken from City AM news.
what do you reckon
That's £20 million pounds!! Pfft, is that all ? i take it that's an ii offloading?
a nice little share this one. I hadn't come across it before the share offer. I understand that due to the nature of a REIT, they'll never have much money for acquisitions and may pass the hat around for new purchases? I've added over the last few days, I usually invest in Aim so I'm enjoying the little rises here without pulling my hair out. Good luck to everyone here. Ste
Hi guys , I got a share offer for 132pps , i dont know the share very good just yet, you guys who have been here, is it good a time to jump in with a small amount ? thanks
Touched the all time high yesterday. Nice to see, and the SP support shows Big Box is a solid Company.
from my experience with divis in HL it will appear in your cash tab, and the buy shares transaction will go through at a later date if you are reinvesting but generally within a month, together with a £1 charge
Hmmm maybe it takes HL 3 days to transfer to current account or something..
Got my divi with Hargreaves Lansdown in my ISA yesterday.
Anyone been paid this yet? Around the 25th stated in the report is t acceptable...
4 divis a year now.
2nd acquisition in two weeks! Wondered what they could be looking at when they drew down that facility. Anyone know their actual growth plans other than the blerb on the website? I.e. 2,3,4,5 Aquisitions per year, scope to move in to European market etc...

Well, apart from Tritex (which is increasingly looking like it isn't going to be quarterly), I have just temporarily sold out of BP and Shell, because of the way they have shot up when surely the markets will fall (?). The other nine are GSK, HICL Infrastructure, J.Laing Environmental Assets, Primary Health, Premier Energy & water Trust, HSBC, GCP Infrastructure, UK Wind, and XP Power. It's all a bit overweight in infrastructure of course. The next two on the list, but going down a little on the yield, are Imperial Brands and British Land. I've made these investments because, although I aim to keep a third of my portfolio in high yielding companies that pay the normal Half and Final dividends, it is always too tempting to trade them once they have gone ex-dividend. I think anyone waiting for the inevitable crash, and then putting money into these twelve quarterly's would be on a winner.
Hello adv11. You have 12 quarterly dividend payers yielding approx. 5% That's something I'm trying to do. Would you mind naming them please if you have a minute or two to spare? I have a few at the moment but there's bound to be some that I've not noticed. Many thanks.
I would say that the dividends are getting very random. Should have had something announced well before now. OK, last year March, June, September and the final February. Then nothing. AGM was 11th. May if I remember right but I don't think any of the proposals mentioned the dividend, and nothing announced since. The reason I bought in here was I have a third of my portfolio split between 12 quarterly dividend payers yielding 5% or thereabouts, which gives me an average of 4 dividends a month. The other 11 are regular as clockwork.
Financial year end Type Amount Ex-dividend date Payment date 31/12/2015 Total 6.00p 4th interim 3.00p 11/02/2016 09/03/2016 3rd interim 0.50p 03/09/2015 23/09/2015 2nd interim 1.50p 18/06/2015 15/07/2015 1st interim 1.00p 19/03/2015 22/04/2015
Is the divi date random or does anyone know the next payment date please.
5% annual divi and growth of about 30% in 2 years, so 20% anually better than any interest rate anywhere, whats not to like ?
They did say the final dividend was going to be increased but it's not mentioned on HL. I think the compamy is solid but when you look at Segro the Sp movement seems to be very slow as well. Other growth opportunities out there but would certainly keep this one on the watchlist if i sell.
I wouldn't mind it being slow moving if they made the dividends more regular and let us know the dates in advance.
Slowest moving stock in my portfolio barely in profit and held for 6 months
cant be bothered to wait
