Expanding margins
Slashed cash outflow
Debt reductions
The market should like this trading update. Progress being made ie the CEO doing what he can to influence internal arrangements, sales do what they do.
Nice!
How could you have possibly read it all in 6 mins
Not much more one can say to this really!
20 mins to go, I’m having a shower now so I’m ready for this, sadly I’ll be travelling to a remote warehouse when the market opens, so I won’t get to see much reaction until 9am ish as I’ll be enjoying the traffic on the M4
Lord, let this update be full of passion, top figures, higher profit margins, and blinking good news, arhhhh men x
“Quiet on here today, all things considered.”
It’s all been said, I think.
It’s a pivotal movement, I believe (even though a nothing update (if that’s what it turns out to be), might make it appear less so).
Typically, I’m travelling to a remote island today and won’t check in until the market reaction is well underway.
See you all on the other side.
Good luck to anyone trying to make money here - one way or another (ok, with a little bias towards longs :)).
Double whammy tomorrow 7am with inflation data aswell as results.. :/
Nothing like a global sell off before results day.
Good luck for tomorrow. Nothing in the SP action here to signify anything in either direction. Just a market down day.
I will be reading the update carefully myself.
Disappointing day all round.
Let’s hope for a better day tomorrow, good luck all!
Hoping this turn around is gathering some momentum. We really need a positive catalyst here to get rid of those pesky shorts.
Looking forward to the conference call, hear from the horses mouth how well or not so well the company is doing. I'll be logging in to it. I also bought a few more right at the death.. I reckon it will be a solid update, nothing spectacular but just enough to show we are on track.
Not much but cheers Tom :)
Roll on tomorrow. GLA
At least you’ve got some sense sj74,
The whole markets in the red! It’s to be expected, I will admit I did move some of my Asos shares (sold) into JD Sports (bought) today, to balance it out a little. JD Sports seems cheap and I believe they’re on track to hit £1 billion in profit in May, they’re both a pretty even split now in my portfolio.
It's like trying to catch a falling knife
In 99% of the shares today? lol.
The market has spoken..... time to capitulate
Jeez 335p ha sorry, too busy at work ;)
Good luck all :)
I'll be out well before we hit £335 ;)
£335, apologies xx
Jamesss, 335p or 350p please add the extra number to avoid confusion next time Huns x
We have to finish 35 or above to make a double bottom, if not, then it's a new lower low
All the way to £15+ over the next few years ✊
Good luck.. I want us to have our capitulation moment, final slog down get its bottom then begin its gradual ascent :) lol
Just bought back in... 330 again, set to sell at 380 again and make another easy 15% or so...
What with the 3% down and what not lol
